Leg and foot cramps: Any advice?

How intense are these cramps actually?
Where exactly do you feel them most?
How long have they been going on?
Also, have you checked if your shoes are the problem?
Is it the material of the shoes or your pants?
Does this happen constantly, or does it eventually let up?
God, I'm getting bored asking myself all these questions...
Anyway, talk soon.
(Maybe a handsome massage therapist is the real solution here... haha 😉

And what’s the actual range of motion when they hit?
How long have you been dealing with this, exactly?
Also, have you actually checked if your footwear is the culprit?
Is it the material of your shoes—or maybe your pants?
Does the sensation linger indefinitely, or does it eventually subside?
Good grief, I'm starting to bore myself with all these questions...
Anyway, hugs

The cramping in my feet—specifically around the toes—is quite intense if I stay in a certain position that triggers it (like that wobbling movement during yoga I mentioned earlier).
As for my shoes, they're mostly comfortable; I haven't worn pointed heels or anything like that in ages.
Regarding my clothes, my jeans are tight, obviously, but I generally prefer my other pants to be loose and comfortable.
By the way, my circulation in my legs is pretty poor to begin with.
Does it last constantly? Well, a cramp might pop up every other day or so.

Man, those cramps used to wake me up in the middle of the night—especially that one on the list... honestly, it hurt so bad I didn't even dare try to move my leg, though, let's be real, I pretty much couldn't have anyway if I tried.
Then my doctor told me that whenever it happens, I should try pulling my foot—you know, that whole lower part of the leg down by the ankle—back toward me. Like, if you're lying on your back, just flex that area and pull... I don't know, it felt kind of weird at the time, but she suggested it.
She also mentioned it could actually be linked to asthma or some breathing issues—basically, if something triggered an allergic reaction or whatever.😕 I mean, it sounds a little strange to me, but hey, that’s what she told me.
It eventually just went away with time.

😕 This is the first time I'm hearing this theory, though it actually makes sense given my situation—I deal with asthma, chronic breathing issues, and I'm pretty much allergic to everything under the sun.

What do you mean, "fabric"????

Magnesium and Potassium—honestly, I wasn't even sure which one was which, so I just downed both. Man, that worked fast!!

I’m not really sure who wrote that bit about Potassium up there, but I guess they aren't wrong... though you probably shouldn't be grabbing it without a prescription from your doctor since it can get pretty dangerous if you take too much at once. Maybe just try eating some tomatoes first to see if that helps, since they're actually pretty loaded with potassium.

Most people dealing with stress or anxiety also struggle with muscle spasms.
It’s the same for those who deal with back or spinal issues.
My own muscles have always been incredibly tight, which just makes my
spinal problems even worse. It’s a bit of a vicious cycle.
Relaxation techniques can help sometimes, but they don't always cut it.
I'm 32, and I take one tablet before bed.
Quinbisul is prescription-only, though you might find something similar at a health food store.
Other names for it include Biquinate, Myoquin, Quinate, Quinbisul, and Quinoctal.
It's used for nighttime muscle cramps and general muscle spasms,
just like it's used for malaria prevention.
It was originally discovered in 16th-century Spain via the Quina bark from South America.

Ever thought about bumping up your salt intake a bit? Have you ever heard of those old-school miner cramps? ....it used to happen to miners who'd spend hours stuck in one position digging, and they’d actually die from those cramps that just seize your whole body.. then they started drinking salt water and the cramping stopped.
Just up your salt and you'll be fine—plus, it won't cost you a dime.

I can't quite put my finger on what kind of cramp this is...
But it usually kicks in when I've been sitting at my desk for ages and then suddenly stand up... it goes away after a few steps.
It's actually worse during my aerobics classes 🙂 or whenever I've spent the whole day walking on pavement and then hit a high-intensity workout—my butt starts tingling or cramping up. It’s a weird sensation... I have to stop, shake my legs out, or walk it off for a bit until it subsides.
Anyone else dealing with something similar?

So, I’ve been taking magnesium for just under a week now, and yesterday during my yoga session, I actually managed to drop into a kneeling position—well, sitting back on my heels—without any issues at all.
Granted, there was a bit of initial cramping at first, but that subsided pretty quickly... 🙂
I’m just crossing my fingers that things stay this way.

Another night, another muscle cramp waking me up in the middle of the damn dark... absolute agony... 😠
The soreness hasn't really let up yet... though I might try to work through it during dance practice today if I'm feeling lucky... 😢

Help. 😢
Ever since I started walking at least 40 minutes a day—just a steady daily habit—those calf cramps in my sleep totally vanished. You should try walking EVERY SINGLE DAY...
I've never really dealt with foot cramps myself, though...

Ugh, woke up this morning with my feet absolutely cramping up.
Is that just bad circulation or what? 😢
If there's already a thread on this (hopefully there is), someone please point me in the right direction.😳
I had some really intense foot cramps this morning.
Is that just bad circulation or something else?😢
If there was already a thread about this (which I assume there was), could someone point me in the right direction?😳
There have been plenty of threads... why would anyone else be looking for one for you? Just search through them yourself—it just takes a little patience!😉
I just scrolled through the last few pages and noticed there isn't a dedicated thread for this, so I figured I’d see if any of you long-time regulars wanted to start a discussion about 😳
.
from:
-varicose veins, crappy circulation
-diabetes
-fatigue
pretty sure it's a circulation issue
