The Final Destination Trilogy

Seriously, this film is absolutely incredible!

I don't mind those movies, I suppose. I only ended up watching them because some guy at the local Blockbuster kept breathing down my neck, pushing his recommendations like he actually knew something. "Take this one, take that one," he'd say. Just to get him to shut up and leave me alone.🙂

I thought both > were great. Even just looking at this trailer (link), it’s safe to say the third one is going to be awesome!

I am genuinely looking forward to the third installment. Since I found both the first and second films to be excellent, I have developed quite an affinity for this genre.

You guys seriously have no idea! Final Destination 3 is absolutely killer. You need to go see it as soon as it hits theaters here in the States because it’s incredible. Plus, it isn't even connected to Final Destination 1 & 2! Trust me, it's a fantastic movie.

It just came out on DVD, but I honestly couldn't care less (plus, it feels like it arrived way too late anyway).

One thing though—on the DVD release, there's an alternative cut where you can pick different scenes at certain points, and honestly, that version is better than the original theatrical cut. Hmm.

Final Destination 1 & 2 -> absolute classics!
Final Destination 3 -> total trash!

It feels like the entire movie is just characters running around, talking, talking, and... just more talking... 🙂

And then, out of nowhere, everyone just drops dead at once. Yay...

The first one was kind of alright, even though by the end I was basically just yelling "just die already, for God's sake..."
The second one was a complete disaster. Honestly, the only two decent parts were when that log flies through the wall and the car, and that whole airbag thing... everything else was just boring, exhausting, and unoriginal 🤮
So, what could the third one possibly be? 🤔

To be honest, I think both of them are pretty damn good movies, and I’m seriously looking forward to finally sitting down and watching this one...

While I found the first two installments to be perfectly acceptable, I have to say that the third entry is an absolute disaster; there is simply no sense in squandering ninety minutes of your life on such utter garbage.

I actually didn't think the third one was bad at all—quite the opposite, really. Obviously, it can't quite touch the first one, since that felt like such a huge breath of fresh air with a totally different vibe... by the third installment, the concept starts feeling a bit familiar. But even so, I'm not bored with it. That whole setup with the carnival and the photos is pretty clever.

Personally, I think all three are great. I honestly hope they release a fourth, a fifth, even a sixth...😁

Just finished watching Final Destination 3 last night! OUTSTANDING! I know most teen horror flicks are total garbage, but the Final Destination trilogy is easily my favorite. Maybe it’s because instead of some dumb killer in a mask, the characters die in such an Incredible Machine way 🙂 I thought all three were awesome sequels, and honestly, I hope they make more 🙂

They really need to start getting creative with how they come up with these ways to "eliminate" the main characters... 😁 😈

So, I caught a viewing of it yesterday... and honestly? It’s just... nothing. It doesn't hit, it doesn't miss, it just kind of sits there. I suppose it's one of those movies you put on when you've absolutely run out of things to do with your life... but, uh, fair warning, possible spoiler ahead. In my humble opinion, it features one of the most nonsensical sequences I've witnessed in quite some time. There's this part where these two girls... (talk about cinematic pedophilia 🙂) start stripping down for some tryst, and the whole thing—from the dialogue to the vibe—is just incredibly stupid. Like, seriously, bitch... 🤣. Even the song choice they have playing while they're at it is questionable, and their movements look so forced and awkward, almost like they're staring blankly into space... it was truly awful. 👍. The only thing missing from the whole mess is more gratuitous nudity from the blonde, though 🙂 tries to show them off for a bit before that darker character pipes up saying they aren't even eighteen yet 😍.
