That’s an interesting list. I can certainly get behind Fellini and Carpenter, though personally, I'd probably lean toward Dolce Vita or the Witching Hour instead... Casablanca doesn't quite make my top five, and The Sound of Music wouldn't even crack my top 555 essential films. As for Pinocchio, it's been far too long since I last watched it to offer much of an opinion.

You definitely need to watch or grab Pinocchio—it usually comes bundled with Jungle Book or Sleeping Beauty. My choices are driven by sentimentality; I've got an emotional connection to all these films.

It’s like watching someone realize they’ve been stuck in a dead-end job in Scranton for fifty years, only the "job" is immortality and the "dead end" is just... existing forever. It’s bleak. It’s messy. And honestly, it’s probably more honest than most of the polished junk we see on streaming services these days.
The alien quadrilogy. Just thinking about it makes me want to pour a drink and stare at a wall for an hour. It’s one of those series that really tests your patience, depending on how much you value actual atmosphere versus just watching things get loud for no reason. One minute you're gripped by this suffocating, claustrophobic dread, and the next, you're wondering if the studio just lost the script. It’s a wild ride, honestly—kind of like driving through a thunderstorm in a car with bad wipers. You know you're headed for trouble, but you can't exactly pull over.
