I’m asking the admins to please do something about these ads. It’s honestly getting to be too much, and I feel like people are going to start leaving the site altogether. We’re all so incredibly grateful for everything you've done to build this amazing community, but I can literally barely open a single thread without being redirected to some random advertising page. Then I have to click back and reload the same page, and it just keeps happening over and over again! 😠😠😠

You just install some adblockers into your browser and suddenly, not a single advertisement is in sight.

I noticed this started happening right after I updated my smartphone...
It feels like I have to refresh the page every single time just to get things working properly...

This whole thing has officially crossed the line into pure insanity.

With this much junk being shoved in my face, Reddit is becoming almost impossible to use.

People with half a brain actually know how to use Reddit and AdBlock. I don't see a single damn ad on this forum. ☕

Has no one heard of AdBlock? Everything is clean and easy to read on my end. I haven't seen an ad on this Reddit in years, I think.🥳

Can someone please walk me through how to actually get an adblocker installed on an iPhone 15 using Chrome? I just can't seem to make it work...

Just grab the Tapatalk app—thank God it's free, so you don't have to deal with all those annoying ads 😉

It’s all just getting too complicated for me, honestly... I don't even see this Reddit as being normal anymore. I absolutely loathe having to keep up with all these new, senseless nonsense trends.

Here's one for everyone. 🤦🤦
Why would I even bother installing the same thing when everything's been working just fine without it up until now? Honestly, the mods should be the ones to get this sorted out.
Look, stop slamming at your keyboards just to look like you know what you're talking about. It’s totally counterproductive. Not everyone is rocking the same high-end phones you two are using, so an adblocker isn't going to fix everything for everyone.
Honestly, using Reddit on the app isn't nearly as smooth as just pulling up the site in a browser. It’s definitely not as easy to navigate for everyone.

I don't really care for Reddit either, but Storm, man, I guess an Adblocker is pretty much a necessity, not just for this site.

Man, even without using an adblocker, this Reddit was actually readable just a few days ago. Now? Not so much.

Are these new ads even worth losing users over? 🤷
Then again, I haven't been hanging out here much lately. Honestly, once I have to refresh the same page three times only for it to still glitch out, I just give up on the site altogether.

Get an adblocker installed, people. Beyond just saving you from annoying ads, it’s a vital security measure because viruses frequently hide within advertisements.
After all, a few years back, Reddit was paralyzed for days, and a massive number of users had their computers infected exactly that way.
Those who were running an adblocker escaped without any damage.

Not mine. I guess I agree about these slow loading times, though; it really gets on my nerves.

I usually just stick to using Chrome on my phone. But I was reading somewhere that you actually can't install an adblocker on the mobile version of Chrome.
Given that there isn't any official explanation for why they'd do this, I have a strong feeling it was a completely intentional move on their part...

Alright, since we're talking about this—why on earth does Adblock Plus crash every single time? 😠

On average, every hour or so, I get this pop-up notification saying Adblock has crashed, and then I have to click the pop-up just to refresh it. If the pop-up disappears, I'm forced to close Chrome entirely and restart it just to get Adblock running again. Honestly, it feels like it's being done on purpose. :-/

And I am seriously fed up with ads on Reddit and everywhere else; it’s gotten completely out of hand!!

Maybe try uninstalling your AdBlock and then performing a clean reinstall.
It’s working perfectly fine for me, using Chrome as well.
