ZZ basically handpicked half the people on this VB forum, which explains why everyone is acting out so...

Ali 👍
It isn’t exactly easy to come to terms with the way the years just slip through your fingers, is it? But I suppose you eventually get used to the rhythm of it all. I started losing my hair quite early on, which perhaps helped me find a sense of peace with the relentless march of time. It’s actually been a bit of a blessing in disguise, because now people tell me I look exactly the same as I did a decade ago—and honestly, plenty of them go as far as saying I look better than ever.
I doubt you ever bothered teaching me any of those fancy football tricks, as I could never quite escape that rigid, Teutonic style of play. I’ve always been more of the romantic, street-style type, wouldn't you agree?

I recall a time, roughly seventeen years ago, when I somehow found myself entangled in a series of relationships with women of questionable character and rather distorted personalities, all while my otherwise impeccable genetic stock was temporarily rendered unrecognizable by various narcotics whose names have since slipped my mind.
That is how such an unusual breed was formed.
Even orcs, after all, were once elves.

I’m one of those folks—I still vividly remember when we were sharing the locker room right around that same time. ☕
Anyway, Happy :klap:

ZZ actually has three sons, all of them declared Realovac, and he doesn't acknowledge any of the others.
One of them, Luka, is a seriously promising keeper. (He doesn't actually have any real grit, though, even if he brags that his mom calls him a tough guy.)

I decided to cut her off once I realized she was juggling connections with several other forum members at the exact same time she was talking to me.
Especially one rather well-known Music Conductor.

Today marks the birthday of the footballing Stravinsky himself, Kevin Nolan. ☕
One might also mention that a few of the rather underwhelming players, such as Alaba and Lionel Messi, are celebrating their birthdays today as well. ☕

It's also a pretty wild anniversary for the "what if" legends, Maradona and Riquelme.

You might argue, "Well, they broke his leg," while I respond, "Sorry, but his stats in that match following the injury were abysmal, and those figures are indisputable."
I’m not quite sure how to respond to you, other than to say this: the idea that an economy can be magically fixed with a magic wand, or that its current state is solely a reflection of one specific political party's recent work, is simply incorrect. And because that premise is flawed, your conclusion is equally misguided.
Regarding the protests and the issues surrounding local symbols, yes, of course, the people spontaneously distanced themselves from the top brass. There wasn't some coordinated group using walkie-talkies; Americans are well known for their ability to self-organize in a crowd in a very short amount of time. 🙄
You didn't actually provide any links regarding polarization, yet you kept talking about how the Left has been initiating constant polarization. No one is calling Karamarko a fascist, yet on the flip side, Karamarko constantly labels this administration as unpatriotic and radical leftist. His representatives—and even the Republican Party president has repeatedly given them her political blessing—regularly compare this government to historical aggressors. Zoran Milanović isn't inciting partisan chants about throwing opponents into pits. Zoran Milanović doesn't go on guest appearances with Stalinist leaders to fuel polarizing hysteria. Is there somewhere in the States where a protest sign has been comparing Karamarko and Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović to Ante Pavelić and Slavko Kvaternik for the last six months? Are we even living in the same country?
And finally, even a child should be able to see whose interest it serves to mask the absolute lack of substance in their campaign by pivoting to these idiotic, archaic ideological themes.
Look, nobody thinks there's a magic wand involved. But let's look at the facts: every single measurable indicator is in worse shape now than it was when they took office—and that speaks volumes. In an environment like this, trying to argue that the Republican Party lacks an economic program (which, fine, I agree with) is just laughable to me. This administration doesn't just lack a plan; they have four years of "results" that are objectively worse than when they first stepped into power.

Well, besides the general atmosphere of exclusivity, I mentioned two interviews (Mason / Pusić) from just the last few days. Here is an example featuring Mason, if you really need the links.
There’s also this systemic issue: for a huge portion of people here, all you have to do is scare them with the Republican Party and convince them there isn't a viable third option, and boom—they'll vote against the alternative. It makes zero sense to me; it defies all logic how Josipović managed to pull in a million votes in the last presidential election.
In their desperate search for an alternative to the Republican Party—which is perfectly reasonable and necessary—a large segment of the population simply chooses to turn a blind eye to the blatant failures of this government.

Is it really "silly" not to look at cause and effect? It’s like if I were the President and decided to rack up a mountain of debt to build an entire housing development. Sure, I’d temporarily employ a ton of construction firms and the economic indicators would look great for a minute. But then you take over, your credit rating is trashed because I already saddled you with debt, the construction companies have nothing left to do because the houses are built, and now we're stuck with a massive problem because nobody actually wants to live there.
And that is exactly what happened with the Republican Party. During Dr. Ive's time, they were building handball arenas that just sit empty now, while the state went on a frantic debt spree, pouring money into highways that made zero economic sense and were priced at least three times higher than they should have been. Then the crisis hit right at the end of the Sanders-esque era (remember his famous line about being in a banana?), and exactly what I described happened: the construction boom and the real estate bubble inflated, the national debt skyrocketed, the construction sector laid off workers en masse—which hurt employment in retail and other sectors too—and we ended up right where we are today.
And now, the Republican Party, which you're indirectly defending, is proposing undersea tunnels, new rail lines, and highways just to "jumpstart the economy" (
At least this crowd isn't pulling these kinds of megalomaniacal, crazy, and corrupt projects
Yeah, the sin of this government isn't that they do nothing, because they *do* do things (digitizing taxes, capping bank profits by lowering interest rates, cutting state costs, introducing hiring incentives for people under 30, etc.), but they didn't do it fast enough or strongly enough. Still, the alternative to the Republican Party is a thousand times worse. That's why it's better to vote for Walnut, Bridge, the Democratic Party, or anyone else—just never again for the Republican Party.
