BREAKING: Police officials: Syrian passport found on body of 1 suicide bomber at a stadium in New York City.

We still don't know for sure. Could he have flown in? Maybe he used a rental car or a private vehicle? Or perhaps he's just an American citizen using a fake passport? Who knows?

The constant moralizing really gets under my skin, and frankly, it’s obvious what’s happening here. It is one thing when random acts of violence occur daily—that’s just the nature of life—but it is quite another when you have an organized movement that you essentially invited onto your own doorstep, fully aware of their agenda. This isn't some social experiment designed to make the average citizen turn against immigrants, nor did this happen by accident. This pattern will play out across all of America, much like what we've seen in areas where radical extremists hold significant sway. In a few years, we might even find ourselves seeing this drama unfold at Madison Square Garden; you can never tell. We have always strived to be a beautiful, liberal West.

Their own.

So, what's actually causing it?

Refugees showing up with zero ID. 😉

Oh, really? 😁 Did someone sell them out?

And how are they supposed to prove they're refugees if they don't have Syrian documents handy?

Look, I just laid it out for you: there is a massive distinction between committing a crime for personal gain and committing one in the name of some deity.

It’s like comparing a common thief to a fanatic; I also pointed out the root cause—radical Islam, which is essentially the only true version of it.

Not really. You didn't actually explain the difference between those two crimes. Show me the receipts.

Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya... Americans were over there—with our blessing—to deal with radical Islam? Russians too? All of it just because of radical Islam?

I can't say if it's standard procedure to carry a passport during a suicide mission. Just seems... unnecessary.

Supposedly Breivik had Syrian blood in him too. ☕

Why is it that every single one of you defending these Islamists always drags America into the conversation? Look, I couldn't care less about the Gulf War. Just like I don't care about Pakistan or Libya. Those wars aren't mine, and honestly, I don't see why we have to force America into the spotlight every time this topic comes up.

If you’re planning to try and "open my eyes" by claiming this is all just some organized plot by a secret agency somewhere, let me save you the trouble right now. At the end of the day, it all circles back to Islam—a religion that simply doesn't belong in a civilized society, acting as a magnet for backward fanatics. That is what interests me, not who America was fighting when I was three years old.

My apologies, I thought you understood that a crime committed during a direct military conflict isn't the same as sitting in a diner after a long work week only to have some maniac start shooting at you because his imaginary friend told him to.

Why? If they hadn't meddled in that region so much, these conflicts wouldn't even be happening. It’s simple logic: those extremist groups wouldn't have formed in the first place. People aren't stupid; eventually, they realize what actually happened, and we're seeing the fallout today. More people are dying there every day because of the mess Western powers made...

Honestly, all this crying over that attack in Paris strikes me as ridiculous. Things are going a thousand times worse on the ground right now because of the French and people like them, but that just doesn't make the news. Don't get me wrong—like any sane person, my heart goes out to the innocent lives lost. But there are far more horrific things happening elsewhere that nobody bothers to wail about. It’s pure, unadulterated hypocrisy.

🤣Man, it’s like the U.S. has been meddling there forever. Everything going down now has happened before; honestly, there was just way less media coverage back then. You really think these ISIS types just dreamed up massacres against minorities out of nowhere? Please. Guys like Assad or Saddam used those exact same tactics way before them. Wiping out Kurds, Yazidis, or whatever group was in power—whether Shia or Sunni—was just business as usual. The difference is, back then, people in Iraq or Syria didn't exactly go crying to the world about it; they just didn't give a damn. But now? Suddenly everyone wants to weep for them. They forgot pretty fast how their own militaries were running wild through places like Lebanon. The only real issue is that these idiots went down there for their own interests, thinking they could just drop democracy into the Middle East on the way through. I guess they should have just put another maniac in charge who plays nice with them so they can all just chill and enjoy themselves.🤣.

Look, things have always been a mess, but nothing on this level. Bottom line: the current disaster in France wouldn't be happening if they hadn't stuck their noses in. They would have settled their own score and left it at that. In my opinion, ISIS wouldn't have even surfaced, let alone gained that kind of power, if they weren't being constantly fueled by outside help. 🤷

Sandra Johnson58 gave you a nice answer, but I really don't intend to turn this into a debate about Americans and who did what to whom thirty years ago. If everyone held onto grudges like that based on past military actions...

It isn't hypocrisy. Their news outlets are obviously going to cover their own backyard rather than ours. 🙂

It matters to them. Personally, I don't lose sleep over the chaos in Lebanon; I haven't the slightest interest in studying decades of complex politics or hundreds of tribal divisions, nor do I care because they essentially tangled themselves up in it. That’s their world and their headache. Just as the events in Paris don't affect them, they certainly affect me. Especially nowadays, when you can grab a round-trip flight from New York to Paris for a couple hundred bucks.

In the spirit of the freedom I enjoy as a citizen of a developed nation, I defend Islam as a choice of faith and Muslims as people. I'm not sure exactly who you mean by "Islamist," but since you used that term instead of "Muslim," I'll assume you're talking about bad people of the Muslim faith. I'm not defending them.

And Paris isn't yours either, so you're irrelevant to this debate...

And no, I wasn't planning on opening your eyes with stories about secret agencies behind this (honestly, first time I've heard that theory and it doesn't sound all that convincing). My goal was to point out that this isn't a war between the West and Islam, but between the West and evil. Evil that yesterday in Lebanon cost at least 43 lives. Evil that you call "Islam," which our developed, significant world has barely scratched compared to what it's done to Islamic countries and the Muslims living there.
The number of non-Muslims killed by Muslim terrorists is tiny compared to the number of Muslims killed. From that perspective, you could actually thank the terrorists for their work, since nobody does more than them to eradicate Muslims and Islam.
I know you don't care about context or the causes behind these events, but people need to understand them instead of just hating Islam and Muslims. Because if another war breaks out, some of us will need to speak up when Muslims start being herded into concentration camps. You get it? You realize how Americans & co. brainwashed half the world, just like Hitler did to his people?

And if I'm lying on a lawn on a nice summer day and some maniac starts shooting at me just because he can... what's the difference?
Except that the Western world didn't support and fund him for decades, didn't kill a million of his people while he was still in diapers, and he lacks the infrastructure and organization that allows the West to spend all its time hanging out with equally sick and/or evil people.

Beirut used to be known as the Paris of the Middle East. Lebanon is a stunning country, and alongside Israel, it’s really the only place in that region that feels somewhat functional... I actually have a friend there; his father is Lebanese and his mother is from back home.

Naturally, a nation like Syria was simply unacceptable to them, so they tore it apart quite thoroughly. It brings me a certain grim satisfaction to see Syria facing a similar fate; it was easy enough to act tough when it was happening to your neighbors, but it isn't nearly as simple once those same actions are being taken on your own soil...

And no, an attack on Paris isn't the same thing as an attack on some city outside of Europe. Even within Europe itself, attacks on other cities just don't carry that specific kind of symbolism. Paris is the heart of the continent, much like how Rome holds its unique significance...

Thirty years ago? 🤣
They basically admitted they were arming ISIS, the very group that caused the chaos in France. And we’re talking about stuff that happened just a year ago. For God's sake, use some basic logic to see who actually messed this up.

It isn't hypocritical. Their media focuses on their own mess, not ours. 🙂

In their world, it matters. Personally, I couldn't care less about the slaughter in Lebanon—I'm not interested in spending my time studying decades of political shifts and hundreds of tribal divisions. Honestly, they tangled themselves up in it. It's their world and their problem. Just like how events in Paris don't affect them, even though they clearly affect me. Especially nowadays, when you can grab a round-trip flight from Chicago to Paris for a couple hundred bucks.

Sure, all of Europe is tied to France. Don't worry, nothing is going to happen to you in this backwater town; you have just as much connection to France as you do to Syria. 🙂

This isn't our problem, and it never will be. We're far too small and insignificant compared to these "global players."

In this video, you see these attackers waving around three different passports. They aren't exactly scaling perimeter fences or dodging security patrols; they’re just flying commercial in business class.

As for everything else, I'm in total agreement with what Matthew Anderson4 said.

I mean, I don't know how serious you're being here, but honestly? This could actually happen, and it’s just... it's sad. A lot of people think Americans are too "civilized" or advanced to ever let something like this happen again, but reality is a totally different story. Even now, these anti-immigrant and neo-Nazi movements are surging, and they're gaining ground no matter how hard the media tries to shut them out. The far-right is blowing up, and all this crap just plays right into their hands. You see the far-right and even mainstream conservatives growing in places where they used to be on the fringes, like maybe Scandinavia or parts of Northern Europe, and that says everything you need to know.
