From what I can tell, the guy was conducting his little heists so sloppily that even a 7th grader in an American elementary school could have gathered enough evidence to sink him. Yet, I don't see anyone from the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, or the Bridge Party ever actually trying—unless we're counting all those dramatic speeches about "draining the swamp."

I guess being a leader for just ten people is hard if you don't have at least a few "your own" people in the mix. Now, imagine when you start poking at the mafia. Who blocked whom, or lied to whom? I don't know. We can just argue that there were some heavy accusations made, but nothing happened. Maybe they really are all scum together, or maybe they aren't. I don't know for sure, and honestly, nobody here does either, so it feels kind of silly to fight about it. I still like to believe there's some morality left out there and that someone decent will eventually step up, and maybe half these crooks will get what's coming to them eventually 😁

I'm not going after James Anderson5, he's a nice guy 😁

Look, I get it—taking on organized crime isn't exactly a walk in the park. You can't just snap your fingers and make the mafia vanish overnight. But what I really can't wrap my head around are these politicians. They stand up there, acting like big shots, promising they’re going to shake things up and clean house, only to sit on their hands once they actually get into office. They talk a massive game about stirring the pot, but when it comes down to it? They won't even lift a finger. Is it all just theater, or are they actually that paralyzed?

I’m not going to say anything about James Anderson5; he's actually a pretty decent guy. 😁

You don't get to speak for me! 🙂:

Is there even 10% of the population out there that actually buys into this crap? What’s the consensus?

Well, I guess you could say the plane was actually packed with them. Instead of protecting the man from being humiliated, they all just filmed it on their phones.

Yeah, I had the same thought. Then again, would you even be the first one jumping up to get involved?

Whatever, honestly. Better they got it on film just so the company can deal with the massive PR nightmare coming their way.

Lawyers are gonna absolutely rip this company apart in court. Looking at it from my professional standpoint 😲 back home, if an overbooking situation happens, everyone loses their minds trying to find a spot. I can't even imagine the fallout; it's basically the ultimate nightmare scenario. That’s exactly why they go to such extreme lengths to avoid it—they’ll always squeeze in some extra space that isn't even technically for sale just to make it work.

But over here? It seems like business as usual. Sell more seats, and if things get messy, just kick the customer to the curb. Honestly, I'm shocked nobody in the States has sued them yet. You buy a ticket, and then they just toss you out? Total moron move. ☕

It depends. If life has taught me anything, it’s that nothing is ever purely black or white. Take that famous case in New York where a guy died during an asthma attack while being detained by the police. The whole story was that he was selling cigarettes illegally, and when the officer tried to take him in, he pushed back and tried to walk away. Reinforcements showed up, things got physical, they were shoving him down, and in a tragic turn of events, he passed away.

Look, it's a fact that police overstep their bounds and that courts can be corrupt, but in many of these viral internet stories, you also have people doing everything in their power to provoke a confrontation with the police.

So honestly, these days I find it hard to tell what the truth really is. Half of these things turn out to be media hoaxes, and once you dig a little deeper, you realize the "average Joe" isn't always as innocent as he seems... ☕

If a little guy comes straight out of Barcelona, you can bet he isn't innocent...

I’m betting those snap troll comments are just a reflex for you; the second you sense them, you're already typing🤣

I agree that it’s not black and white, but from the short clip, there doesn't seem to be any real need for such violent measures. Flying is one of the most expensive ways to travel, and I guess even economy passengers deserve a basic level of respect. After all, they are customers who paid for their tickets and have lives that might depend on making that specific flight. Unless there’s a legal reason to remove someone—like disturbing the peace or terrorism—you shouldn't just kick someone off a plane, even if they refuse to leave. There just wasn't a reason to tell him to get out.

Those American companies can be pretty aggressive with their rules and procedures sometimes. I guess I was almost screwed over once during a long flight in Atlanta, and I haven't seen that kind of lack of professionalism anywhere else.

That last part was purely instinctive, kind of like a quick volley in ping pong or tennis 🤣

What is even going on with these "ballers" today? I spotted Edin Dzeko over at Jimmy Woo, then saw Marcel and Plivarica hanging out at MM in Sesvete.

Christ Resurrection blessings to the wealthy

Edin is actually playing this afternoon against the Atlanta Falcons, so are you absolutely certain you actually saw him...

That’s exactly what I’m telling you! He knocked back some drinks and headed over to H2O, where he took a photo with some guy I know, though there's also one shot of him just hanging out at the bar.

By the way, Rom isn't footing the bill because the guy didn't even have cash for a drink, so he had to cough up his own money.

Take a look at Logan, honestly a killer movie. Definitely the best thing Marvel has put out since the classic The Punisher days. 😁

I'm really not feeling up for heading to the theater... is there any decent version available to watch at home?

Yeah, they're there, but from what I can tell, the subtitles are in Korean. If you don't mind that, you could probably just grab them.

If you happen to be following Silicon Valley, just a heads-up that season 4 has officially kicked off. In my opinion, it’s currently the absolute gold standard for comedy series, standing completely alone without any real competition, and isn't Erlich Bachman simply one of the most brilliant characters ever written? 👍

On another note, if anyone here is watching The Leftovers, I find myself wondering: is it actually worth the investment? I see that they're moving into season 3, but after finishing only the first season, I decided to walk away—do you think it's worth picking back up?
