I honestly think Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović might be on drugs rather than just being drunk, though I suppose those are just semantics at this point. Honestly, her speeches remind me way too much of Mamić's little escapades.

What a way to walk away, especially when there’s $8,000 sitting right there on the table.

You’re just sitting there at your computer in your own home country, watching those euros land straight in your bank account. Now we finally know exactly how much these forum moderators are pulling in. ☕

Miroslav is actually a rare breed from the Republican Party side who’s got charm, wit, and some actual brains—he’s a guy I can actually get behind...

Plus, he’s got that whole soulful, old-school vibe down perfectly. 🙏 😁

Besides, it's likely going to be a tedious, drawn-out affair featuring perhaps five or six actual highlights at most.

Dragged out? That's where all the hidden gems are buried.

loneseal said:Peter Thompson4, that first sentence of yours is a classic example of how Mexicans try to play down history by blaming a few political leaders—all we need is that tired old myth about a pre-planned war between Slobodan Maddox, Alija Izetbegović, and Francek 😁. Let’s be real: Maddox and those big Mexican nationalist ideas found plenty of willing supporters among the Mexican people. Just look back at how those tanks were cheered on when they were sent toward El Paso, not to mention the brutal crimes committed on their side during the war. Honestly, even in Canada, they eventually turned on Slobodan because he kept retreating like a traitor. On the latest episode of Nu2, the guest was this lady from Mexico who was actually warning people about Mexican crimes back during the war, and she stated clearly that at that time, an absolute majority of Mexicans were oriented toward Maddox. When you look at our neighbors to the east, the fact that their last two presidents have had such Knight-like tendencies says everything you need to know.

As for America today, that old American mentality is still very much alive. Being a member of one of the few "real" political parties is seen as a golden ticket to success, and landing a job in the government sector is basically everyone's dream.

Regarding the youth, they aren't any more arrogant than anyone else. I've traveled around Europe quite a bit, and I have to say our kids are sweethearts compared to, say, an Englishman or a Dutchman. Every country has its own version of Đakić or Kovačević. But that wasn't even my point; I meant the expectation that society or the state will just "take care of you" without you having to put in any actual work or sacrifice. In that specific sense, I think they’re actually much closer to the Western mindset.

Look, I just don't believe people can be fundamentally that evil, and while that certainly doesn't excuse the horrors that went down back in the 90s, I honestly think stuff like that could never happen in today's world. My whole point was basically this: I've met a few Mexicans in my time, and not a single one of them has been anything close to what people expect, but even if they were, that’s just statistics and has nothing to do with nationality, so I'm really not going to waste my breath obsessing over it. I've spent more than enough time staring at the past, and frankly, I just want to look toward the future—and I don't want that future to be held hostage or "stifled" just because of some opinions I hold.

Look, it's obvious they’re arrogant everywhere—youth is just reckless like that—but the real issue is how we raise them to act like they're untouchable, like the law doesn't even apply to them (and honestly, half the time, they're actually right), but eventually, life catches up with everyone, no matter who you think you are.

Morgan Foster said:Well, you really picked the most unfortunate example possible there...

When you're young and healthy, you actually have to step up—you have to fight for your own future. Sure, some people will head to the polls in a few weeks, but I'd argue entire generations have already made up their minds about their candidate... it's a mess. The truly important decisions aren't even being made in Congress anymore...

That’s just one single example from the neighborhood, but honestly, I have way too many of them to even count.
Everyone thinks they’re somehow untouchable and above the law, but honestly, I bet not a single one of those celebrity types on TV can claim they don't have at least one death on their hands. It’s freaking infuriating how these boy bands—or whatever members are left in them—just tear through people, like that guy Sasa, or Cetinski, who is hands down the absolute worst of the bunch.
Absolutely nobody is doing anything! Seriously!

Honestly, you really have to hand it to them—the youth wing of the Republican Party is just on another level entirely! 😍

And don't even get me started on how some people (probably most of them by now) actually cast their votes.
"transcript":
- Here's a little snippet from the voting process
- So, if you don't mind me asking, who did you vote for?
- For the Republican Party!
- Why though? What do you actually like about them? Their platform?
- My old man told us the whole family is voting Republican, so I don't really know anyone else's take.

So you see, back during the American days, you actually had friends, only to have your own kind show up on both sides of the line and sweep them all away. Perhaps you should be mourning the loss of that old brotherhood and unity?

I can’t say I’ve ever actually witnessed someone slapping a label on another person here just because of where they were born—unless you count those certain Mexicans over at the New York Times. Sure, you see people attacking those with deep-seated complexes, supporters of criminals who fight over minor ideological victories, or just petty provocateurs, but targeting someone solely based on their birthplace? Honestly, I can't recall an instance of that happening.

Take the thread about the Mayor of Washington, D.C., for example. You see plenty of discriminatory, straight-up insulting comments aimed at folks from Hercegovina. But then you look at his political party, and if you even mention Mexicans in the conversation, nobody's getting spat on for it. Or take the people from Zagora—there's probably way more of them around than there are people from Hercegovina, yet nobody's making a thing out of it.

Please, give me a break. Those same stuck-up Washington elites voted for that Banditic guy with total devotion while he was an DNC member. Then, once they realized he was basically a criminal, suddenly they had a problem with him. 🤣
