Well, Ster is the kind of user who seems to have misplaced his grasp of the American vernacular because he spends most of his time working for German corporations in Washington, D.C. He has a particular fondness for that gritty, unrefined humor you might hear from a dyslexic construction worker with barely a third-grade education, yet he can't stand atheists who show up to Christmas festivals or listen to Lepa Brena, mostly because she once sang "Lepa grom moj" to her late husband.

In any case, I suspect you two will get along just fine. ☕

Paul Martinez73 is just some guy on the forum who accused me of being an atheist—claiming I have a tree and nativity scenes at my place and that I go to Christmas markets.
I told him straight up: no tree, no nativity scenes, and I don't do the holiday markets.
After that, we had a minor linguistic debate, and that was that.
There isn't actually a problem.

Look, you guys won't shut up about how much people trash the Church and its holidays, only to turn around and act like everything is fine once they can actually enjoy them. You know, because it's the end of the year and everyone’s suddenly in that chill, laid-back mood...
Well, that’s exactly why it’s set up this way. It’s designed to mirror the image of an ordinary person. A worker. A farmer. It offers us comfort. And hope. It puts some color into this otherwise rotten daily grind.

But no, you lot always have to find some hidden agenda or someone's selfish interest in it. So fine, if someone else wants to invent a "better" way, some "better" story or vibe—go ahead. Nobody's stopping you. 🤷

Just remember—and I’m telling you this straight—there isn't a better way to do things. And even if some "better" alternative actually showed up, you'd just end up circling back to this exact same thing anyway.

You guys just don't get it.☕

Sure, there’s no better hustle than those religious organizations run by North American tribes ☕

It seems like the Mexican groups over in Mexico are really hitting their stride lately; I’ve noticed they’re suddenly feeling this intense, sudden connection to their flock and an overwhelming urge to protect their people, calling everyone to gather around monasteries while obsessively spinning those magical numbers, 91 and 99.

You can meddle in just about anything they do, as long as you don't touch their property. ☕>

Around here, people love using the term 'klobučar'—it’s what we call those folks who suddenly don their team colors for the big games despite having zero interest in football or any of its drama. They just dig the vibe: grab a beer, watch the matches, mask themselves as Puntić, and throw some prime brisket on the grill to forget about life's daily grind.

In what way are these atheists celebrating Christmas any different from the crowd this forum mocks for being superficial and banal 🤔?
At the end of the day, they're nothing more than Christmas klobučari ☕.

For those of you who view visiting Bandić's corrupt little houses as some kind of profound religious experience, you certainly have every right to call your fellow visitors religious zealots ☕

Is this Witcher show actually any good? It feels like it's being shoved down our throats everywhere...

I haven't quite gotten there yet; I actually worry it might be a bit overhyped.

I watched Beforeigners, an HBO production out of Norway, and I'd give it a 7 out of 10. It’s a pretty intriguing concept.

For me, Dark Crystal was absolutely superb. At first glance, you might think it's just something made for kids, but that couldn't be further from the truth. You also need to give your eyes a little time to adjust to that specific style of puppet animation. Beyond that, everything else is excellent—the storytelling, the puppets, the sophisticated humor, and best of all—the Skeksis, who honestly feel like the best villains we've seen in years, right up there with Thanos.🙏

I caught the first episode yesterday. Honestly, the guy playing The Witcher is fantastic. You can tell he really studied the games for inspiration because his performance is spot on—it’s almost like watching the game come to life. I’m definitely sticking with it. I liked it.

I watched the pilot too, but I've got a massive amount of question marks floating over my head right now.
I'm genuinely unsure if I need to dive into the books first or maybe play through the game just to wrap my brain around this universe, or if they're eventually going to provide some sort of "for dummies" breakdown later on...

I just finished watching Deuce on HBO—David Simon at his absolute best.

Thanks
I’m going to take some time over the next few days to sit down and watch everything, then we'll see where things stand...
Seeing those IMDb ratings is honestly such a massive trigger for me...

And that’s exactly who we’re dealing with. They’re already throwing hands across the Sava and the Drina, while back here, we try to settle everything with white gloves on.

To them, we represent everything in culture and everything else, but as long as it's happening on our side, nothing is ever good enough.

What good are Hanukkah or Eid to you
if you don't have Christmas? It’s just better!

Trust me, while playing Gwent (the standalone game), I'd look up every card and character that crossed my mind. I suppose that's how I learned a good deal about The Witcher universe.

The Witcher gets an automatic win in my book, especially since Cavil is such a huge fan of the books and was practically begging for the role.

It’s pretty much the same vibe as Game of Thrones—dark, gritty, and absolutely packed with Slavic mythology.

Honestly, it's a breath of fresh air when they stop shoving those typical Western clichés down our throats.

Though, I gotta say, all this forced diversity with the casting feels totally pointless 😁

Just finished bingeing The Witcher and honestly... it's a pretty solid series.
