It’s either one extreme or the other: you’re either some self-proclaimed genius skeptic who thinks they know everything (🙏), or you’re just someone blindly swallowing whatever the news anchors at ESPN tell you.

There really isn't any middle ground, is there? 🙏

By the way, when was the last time we saw people being hauled off to mass graves in places like Central Park because of the flu? Or are we just going to keep ignoring international headlines unless they happen to be coming out of Sweden?

That article on Index prompted me to run a quick search, so I can provide an answer for New York: it seems to be happening about once a week.

As it stands, they've moved the burials for those without next of kin to five times a week; the number of gravediggers has been bumped up from 25 per week to 24 per day, all while shortening the wait times.

Yes, the increase is significant, and yes, the situation is dire. But this hyperinflation of information—this media scavenging where headlines scream "NEW YORKERS ARE BEING DROPPED INTO MASS GRAVES DUE TO COVID-19"—combined with throwing absolute numbers at us without any semblance of context makes it impossible not to wonder how this would look if COVID-19 had stayed under the radar like some minor seasonal bug.

After all, New York City is home to twenty million people...

restlesssurfer97 ( 😬 ) Brito, the CEO of Anheuser-Busch, isn't exactly one of those "controversial" figures you hear about in global business—but he’s definitely worth listening to. He touches on sports sponsorships briefly, so I've timestamped the video accordingly.

He's an old-school type, but the whole thing is worth watching:

I even watched one of his lectures regarding negotiations with employees over salaries—or when he has to let someone go. To him, it doesn't matter if an employee is drowning in debt; he'll just corner them like Batman and demand to know why they haven't been more productive for the company...

Just in case you missed the point:

🙏🙏

The Great Leader means absolutely nothing to this guy; instead, he’s busy walking up to the Secretary of Health to explain how ventilators actually work, saying things like, 🙏 "Look, Rasim," 🙏 🙏
.
The man is traveling from city to city, personally delivering aid himself.

Hahahahha, there you go... here's your reality check...
Alms for New York City from the Great Leader.

I've seen some things, but stumbling upon this speech by Vulin left me speechless.

I can't believe this is actually happening. 🤣

That part doesn't sound particularly fun.

If that actually turns out to be true, then forget all of this. Just open the borders and let whatever happens, happen.

But seriously, that’s the gist of it. You’re either pushing for a total lockdown where anyone breaking isolation gets the hammer thrown at them while the government calls all the shots, or you think it’s just a slightly nasty flu and move on. 🤣

The whole situation is so insanely complicated that making any kind of definitive call is brutal, which is why I think the way Johnson and Donald Trump handled things with that herd immunity vibe, or how Sweden stuck to their guns (some people bring up the Netherlands too), really shows politicians trying to act tough. Doesn't matter what your personal take on Donald Trump or Johnson is.

When people are actually dying, it becomes much easier to pull the trigger on a quarantine—especially since, in our little corner of the world, the authorities have an insane 94% approval rating—but it takes some real guts to decide to go the opposite direction.
Anyway, most politicians are just experts at putting out fires today and hoping they can figure out how to handle the future later on.

And honestly, anyone who claims they know the absolute best way to fight this right now will probably claim they "knew" about five or six other "best" ways two years from now.

At the end of the day, those who survive will be the ones telling the story; after all, it’s the death toll that matters, and nothing is settled until the music stops. ☕

What a total disaster. 🤦

After watching "Go Minister," I honestly had to shut everything off; I just couldn't bear to sit through any more of that nonsense.

Man, thank you so much, I really needed something high-quality like this to keep me occupied while I'm hanging out at the coffee shop.

So, that video ended up with a like-to-dislike ratio of roughly 50:1. 🤣

Just a snapshot of the nation, Luka Bulić, and a bit of that crazy, beautiful humor—honestly, I don't think we need anything else. 🙏

They told us Willie Nelson was some kind of hero we should all follow, but then Willie turns around and says this is just a common flu. Now I’m stuck wondering—should I actually listen to the man or not?

I’m honestly dying to see if Willie Nelson actually goes for it and goes full scorched earth—which, let's be real, anyone can do when things start falling apart—and ends up exposing some old scandals just to make sure he doesn't accidentally take down the Great Leader, Anemia in the process. ☕

I thought I was going to feel physically ill after listening to that song and hearing what those individuals had to say about it, but then I actually went and read the comments.

It didn't even start getting on my nerves until the 1:50 mark when they began shoving random people into the shot.🙂

Laura Chavez93 said:In South Korea, about 90% of those who supposedly recovered have tested positive again... things are starting to get interesting 🍿

I honestly don't understand you people, I really don't.

It actually says 90 patients out of 7,000 who recovered. That's 90 people, not 90% of the population. If you do the math, that's basically just 1.2% of patients where we don't even know why they're testing positive again. Maybe they got reinfected, maybe they're just long-term positive, or maybe the tests aren't quite accurate.

When someone reads that, it's enough to give them a heart attack because you're spreading totally untrue nonsense.
I guess this calls for a ban for a few days, whether it was intentional or not.

And here we go again with The North American Job, where some guy is actually doing a decent job by global standards (which, for us, means he's basically a 🤮 god-tier genius)...

But instead of just letting things be normal, people take the absolute bare minimum required for a cabinet minister and start treating him like some kind of superhero, writing songs about him and elevating him to legend status... it honestly makes me want to vomit.

Look, I think the guy is charming—you can't really hate a guy named Willie Nelson 🤣—but after all this nonsense, he's starting to get on my nerves. Just let the man do his job; he’s doing it well, and that should be enough. He does exactly what he's supposed to do, nothing groundbreaking or revolutionary, though I suppose even that is an achievement coming from the Republican Party talent pool when you consider someone like Kujudzic... but still. God, we are such a petty, superficial nation.

Everyone mocks Vucic, but who actually has the time to pay attention to him? Meanwhile, we're obsessed with Luka Bulic. Seriously, Luka Bulic is somehow more insufferable than Vucic himself, and we have plenty of types like him to go around.

Every single day, the headlines are the same: Ella Dvornik, Ella Dvornik's husband, Ella Dvornik isn't breastfeeding, Ella Dvornik wrote a song, Britney Spears posted a video of herself ringing Milan in New York City, Britney Spears can't see her son.

What a complete joke!

If you're watching Vucic and Vulin, why on earth would you care about Ella Dvornik or Britney Spears?
