It's just a fact that everyone's being kicked off the thread. Normally, we'd have pages and pages of posts after a single episode, but yesterday? Total ghost town. Nobody’s posting anything—or if they do, it just gets deleted
so much

To avoid getting bogged down in individual cases or twisting facts and sentences into knots, the gist of the whole issue is exactly what Raymond Gray2 pointed out—so thanks to him for that.

Originally, the whole point of this thread was to talk about the show's plot and maybe swoon over the hot lead actor among us ladies—and frankly, having three guys join in was a nice bonus. 😂 It was supposed to be a fun little chat to have over coffee or during a quick break.

Now, the thread has mutated into some sort of moralistic sermon about a terrible woman—Cruella de Vil—who apparently only provides entertainment for one specific person and one moderator.

I thought the whole goal of online communication was to draw people in and encourage interaction, not to drive them away by aggressively moderating the pages.

Or am I fundamentally misunderstanding why we're all here? 🤷

We already know how things usually end up with Michael Ramos, but please—can we just get some relief from the moderator who, without any explanation whatsoever, devoured at least five pages of posts yesterday that were perfectly within the forum rules?

I won't be getting heavily involved either; I can't be bothered. I will just agree with Raymond Gray2 that people are being scattered. For instance, I find myself visiting that page less and less, losing interest because of certain things. People still message me, but I notice some are posting less frequently.

This is a forum. It's normal to have different opinions, but some of this is genuinely baffling. Just ignore 😁

Dana Nelson: you have my support! 🙏

Everyone’s pushed things too far at some point, mostly just to dodge getting deleted or banned. The rules were laid out clearly with those moderator warnings—it was explained multiple times in the messages how stacking up enough strikes could land you a permanent ban. After the warning, the expectation was simple: just get back to regular posting without all the friction we saw before. And look, it isn't "trolling" just because a few moderators decide to review reports; it’s not just me making that call.

I'm no lawyer like Michael Ramos4, but she and those other few people who can't stand Feriha have as much right to their opinions as you do to yours. As long as you stay on track, feel free to praise or bash the characters all you want, but let the people who disagree have their say too.

I'm sorry, but that isn't the issue at all. We don't have an issue with differing opinions. For instance, I completely disagree with Dana Booth26's take, yet I respond to her posts politely when necessary and receive equally polite responses in return.
The issue here, as we have all pointed out, is trolling. It is about twisting what actually happened in the show and making up things that never aired, all for the sole purpose of provoking a reaction from others. As far as I know, that behavior is punishable on every other thread on this forum, except for this one.
I received a warning from you for trolling. I didn't appeal it because I believe I deserved it; it was regarding a post where I was being ironic. However, it seems somewhat absurd to be penalized for two or three sentences in a thread where trolling goes unpunished on a daily basis.

Well, I've uploaded visual proof to the thread showing that Emir was half-ready 😁 So if that doesn't count as being relevant to the topic, then I really don't know what does. Suppose I had written that on the Suljin topic, the BBO topic, or whatever else... 🤷 Right now, I just have this feeling that they were targeting specific users rather than looking at the actual content of the posts 😳 With all due respect ☕

Let’s not pretend this is just about people being unable to handle different opinions.

Both Jerry Campbell7 and Dana Booth26 are in the minority here on the forum—I don't see anyone complaining about them, even if hardly anyone actually agrees with what they say.

River can share whatever opinion she wants, but the moderators need to let others respond to her, rather than just nuking posts simply because River doesn't like them.

Now, Adam M. just went off claiming my bio was reported, but nobody else could have possibly flagged it—it had to be River acting on her own personal vendetta, especially since there were at least seven posts supporting mine.

And you actually deleted that exact post—the one that another moderator had already publicly cleared.

Bottom line? You aren't moderating this thread objectively.

As for this post,

which moderator Jay also correctly identified as trolling—because half the facts were omitted and the rest were completely twisted compared to reality,

it remains standing. ☕

I will add this: Dana Nelson, Max, and Tina 25 all adore Levent, whereas most of the rest of us can barely stand him. Yet, I haven't noticed any fighting because of that, so there is no such thing as arguing with dissenters, unless we are talking about Michael Ramos4.

Disagreement isn't trolling—whether it's with me or anyone else on this forum. Let’s get one thing straight: nobody here has actually made that accusation (and if you look back at the posts, the evidence is right there in plain sight). If that were the case, I’d personally be reporting every single person I disagreed with, but I don't do that. You can check my history yourself; if I flag a post for trolling, it’s because it’s actual trolling, not just because someone holds a different opinion than I do. The only posts that get reported are the ones where the truth is being twisted—where people are flat-out lying about the show's plot by inventing scenes that never actually happened. Those are the posts labeled as trolling, and those are the ones that get wiped. 🙄.

Look, we all have our disagreements here, and that’s fine, but let’s get one thing straight: people aren't reporting trolling just because they have a difference of opinion. They're reporting it because it actually *is* trolling. It's not about who wrote the message; it's about the behavior itself. Yet, somehow, the focus always shifts toward the identity of the poster, while the moderators seem to selectively scrub any content they simply don't agree with. To claim otherwise is honestly pretty ridiculous when everyone on this board is shouting the exact same thing, and the trail of left-behind and deleted posts serves as undeniable proof of what's really happening. ☕

Look, I’m asking for some actual substance here: provide the proof. Show me the evidence that all these posts—including the ones that have already been flagged—aren't just blatant trolling. ☕

I'm with you on that. SaromLook, some people are big fans of Levent, while others can't stand him, but as long as we aren't dealing with a dedicated troll, there’s really no conflict here. It's just a simple exchange of perspectives—people weighing in, questioning why things happened one way or another, and debating the "why" behind it all. ☕

First off, I want to say that I am fully behind the appeals and all the complaints being made. I honestly agree with everyone else on this forum who has shared their thoughts so far.

Larry Lee97 said:Nathan Turner3 made a good point: things aren't fully moderated yet, so just hang in there—the decent posts will be restored. Whether you realize it or not, you're overlooking one thing I said, which was basically, "With Nathan Turner3's blessing, three moderators agreed to clear out everything starting from that first problematic post by Dana Nelson (which was reported), and all the subsequent posts that were just piling onto her nonsense instead of sticking to the topic."

I'm no lawyer like Michael Ramos4, but she and those other few people who can't stand Feriha have as much right to their opinions as you do to yours. As long as you stay on track, feel free to praise or bash the characters all you want, but let the people who disagree have their say too.

Dear and respected Larry Lee97, I don't think you quite realize that having differing opinions isn't actually the problem here. Of course they have a right to their views; nobody is disputing that. Everyone's perspective is respected and always welcome. If someone disagrees with something, they should point it out and, if possible, engage in a discussion about the why and how based on what we're actually seeing in the show. Just look at the posts from Dana Booth26 and Jerry Campbell7. Why don't we have any issues with them? They write great posts; they might not care for Feriha's character, but they maintain a lovely, polite style and a respectful way of writing.

Now, regarding Michael Ramos4. First of all, she doesn't just "not like" Feriha; she absolutely loathes her from the bottom of her soul, which she has made pretty clear in several posts. She just attacks and insults her without any actual basis (aside from lies). But hey, that's forgiven in the show itself. She twists the facts presented in the series (!), lies, tells untruths, and invents entire plotlines that don't exist. She simply refuses to see (or rather, chooses not to see) anything good or positive about Feriha. It seems like she's blinded by this senseless hatred, even though the show makes it crystal clear that FERIHA IS AN UNSPOILED, HONEST, INCREDIBLY GOOD AND COMPASSIONATE, FRAGILE GIRL WITH A HEART OF GOLD. (Setting aside those initial lies, of course.)
Even when Feriha does something kind, it's somehow framed as a mistake. In Michael Ramos4's case, no matter how you spin it, Feriha is always wrong and blamed for everything, even things that aren't true. Honestly, if that isn't trolling, I don't know what is...
Seriously, if you only read her posts, you'd think Feriha had committed a massacre or killed hundreds of people. Like she's some kind of terrorist or something. 🙄
So, how are we supposed to ignore posts like that? Really, how?

To those who came before... 👍

Sarah Hall53 said:I’m honestly just wondering why that post got nuked and labeled as off-topic—you know, the one where Dana Nelson was trying to break down the cultural context and the underlying reasons behind certain character actions (specifically, that whole insulting incident)? In all the other threads I've followed about American shows, posts like that are usually met with total applause and welcomed with open arms... because, let's be real, we're looking at a different culture here, and most of us aren't super familiar with all those little nuances and subtleties.

I totally agree with that. I actually wanted to add my two cents and mention that you see this kind of stuff even in my neck of the woods, in areas that aren't even religious. With the older generation, they just go in for the insults by default; with the younger crowd, it’s more hit-or-miss, depending on their mood. I ended up concluding that whether someone chooses to insult others or not doesn't necessarily mean they're "backward" or "progressive," but it becomes a real issue—conditionally speaking—when it starts being elevated to the level of a cult. It’s exactly like what we see with those basement dwellers. Okay, fine, maybe my post is a bit rambly and technically off-topic, whatever. But honestly, anyone who has watched even a fraction of the series has probably noticed how that constant belittling is baked into all 54 episodes. It’s such a massive, omnipresent element in the whole "basement dwellers vs. everyone else" dynamic.

Nicole Palmer4 said:I find myself in agreement with these complaints.
From what I’ve observed, my own posts haven't been deleted, yet the contributions of users who simply share their honest opinions on the show seem to vanish. These aren't trolls, nor is there any off-topic rambling or anything of the sort. Meanwhile, Michael Ramos4, who trolls in nearly every single thread, remains untouched and unpunished. We are instructed to report such behavior, so we do, yet nothing ever comes of it. It feels as though this particular user is being shielded by the moderators; if I, or anyone else here, were to post such provocative nonsense and terrorize an entire thread and its participants, we would have been banned long ago. One gets the impression that we are all expected to step back just so Michael Ramos4 can continue trolling, provoking, and fabricating details that weren't even in the series. I have never seen such blatant distortion of the plot; someone who hasn't watched the show but only reads those posts would walk away with a completely warped perception of the story and its characters. Having watched the series three times now, reading certain posts makes me look like this: 😕 when was that actually shown?
Furthermore, I agree that while there are dissenters in other threads regarding AFK, it has never resulted in tension or arguments.
As for Jay and Bea, I have no complaints whatsoever.

Maybe that’s exactly why? Because there is a massive difference between someone who just disagrees with you and an actual troll. A person with a different opinion actually brings arguments to the table; they share their perspective based on what they've actually seen on screen. But a troll? They couldn't care less about what anyone else thinks, and they aren't offering any real substance either. They don't care about the show's plot or the actual content being aired. Instead, a troll just twists their "opinion" specifically to trigger the most negative reaction possible from the rest of the community. Their whole "stance" is just a reaction to whatever the other side is saying, rather than having a coherent thought about the series that could actually be defended with logic. That’s why, more than once before, posts like that have been successfully shut down by forum members who have long memories and the technical know-how to make it happen. (Not that I want to get into a wider debate about how successful those takedowns have been.)

Larry Lee97 said:Nathan Turner3 made a good point: things aren't fully moderated yet, so just hang in there—the decent posts will be restored. Nobody is stopping anyone from saying anything. Honestly, once I realized that Michael Ramos4 is just a troll who uses a somewhat sophisticated way to drop posts into threads—posts filled with stuff that never even aired on CNN—I stopped seeing her as someone with a different opinion. I don't view people like that on these soap opera forums as "opponents." I simply refuse to clog up my brain with troll posts. Why would I want to feed the troll? That’s why I don't quote her, I don't comment on her stuff, and I don't even read it. To be perfectly blunt, I have no clue what she’s even writing, and frankly, I don't care. From what I can gather by looking at the posts from other members I actually follow—people whose views align with mine—nobody else quotes her or even mentions her name. So, where exactly is this supposed "conflict" or this idea that someone is being prevented from writing?

I’m not actually in conflict with anyone on this forum. I haven't ever been banned—since 2010, I’ve maybe had, what, ten warnings at most? Just rookie mistakes like an oversized image or drifting off-topic once in a while, but never anything offensive or trolling. Honestly, I have enough seniority here to know the difference between someone who just disagrees with me and an actual troll. People like Jerry Campbell7 and Dana Booth26 are just people with different opinions, much like other users on different threads (like Jerry Campbell7 over on AvC), or those AFK girls who absolutely adore Levent, though I don't have any beef with them. In fact, I’m practically a virtual legend in some people's private inboxes! And with the ladies who love Levent (you know who you are), we actually joke around—calling him things like "Levislav Vegetić" and such. They don't take it personally; they just fire back with the same sense of humor. Why is it that on the spoiler threads, there’s almost zero conflict even when opinions vary wildly?

Since I'm already typing, let me just say this: all this forced "purity" on the threads is exhausting. It’s boring, unproductive, dry, and honestly, kind of repulsive. It feels like you aren't even allowed to crack a joke anymore, offer a funny conclusion, drop a GIF, or write an ironic or sarcastic comment. Because, heaven forbid, we might disrupt the orderly flow of some academic research paper, right? When I think back to how things used to be... man, we used to have so much fun on these threads. We’d show up with so much enthusiasm, and even though we teased each other, we weren't making a mockery of the discussions. Nowadays, when I write something, I feel like I have to hit an "auto-censor" button because I never know if I’m allowed to speak my mind or not.

Right, so, Dana Nelson was basically orchestrating the "shutting down," and I just jumped in to add my two cents. I basically contributed one single sentence: "I need to break this depressive episode by commenting on how damn good Emir looked today in his denim, light blue shirt, and blue vest!". So, apparently, "Sexy Emir" is out too, along with my post, apparently. Like I said earlier, this level of forced "sanctity" where you can't even write a sentence like that is complete nonsense. It's just ridiculous. I wasn't obsessing over anyone's specific thread (I don't even go to their threads!), I was just commenting on Emir and how handsome he looked in the outfit he paraded around in last night (especially after spending the night in a car). Let us swoon every single day, let us exaggerate—but one sentence about his wardrobe in 54 episodes? 🤷 Anyway, moving on. Let's keep going with this review style (which, by the way, is becoming a rarity).

I didn't feel the need to weigh in since those specific deleted posts didn't really affect me, BUT... 🙄

Larry Lee97 said:After an agreement between the three moderators and Nathan Turner3, every single post has been wiped out, starting from that very first one everyone was replying to.

Only the bold text actually relates to the show; everything else is just someone targeting another user and trying to flame them.

Next.

With all due respect to your grandmother, I really don't see how this matters to the plot of the show. 😁

I deleted the subsequent post from cosmicorca5 because it violated the rules,
which also had nothing to do with the topic. Other deleted posts were either just piling onto this one or were completely off-topic as well.
You're new to the forum, and even though you've been asked a few times to read the rules, you seem to think they don't apply to you.
You posted a private message on a public thread; you only got 30 points for that, even though you could have easily faced a 30-day ban. Out of all your warnings, that was the only one I personally issued.
No matter how much you doubt me or think I'm biased, I treat every single member of this forum exactly the same under the same set of rules.
The only mistake I'll admit to is that I used to send almost everyone private messages, asking them to edit controversial parts themselves or deleting things that might cause conflict. I should have been tougher and just issued warnings immediately, but it's never too late to change. As far as I'm concerned, there are no more warnings—just direct penalties, followed by a notification. You don't get a heads-up just for having a post deleted.

Several posts were reverted last night. I assume you weren't the one who reverted them, assuming they were already deleted. I suppose that means one of the other three must have been reverting the posts—does this imply they suddenly disagree with having them removed?

Do you actually have any idea what that term even means? And I suppose the others too—things like off-topic, chat, or trolling—which seem to be incredibly popular among the online population these days.

Larry Lee97 said:I have to agree with that, but primarily, the people who can't stand Feriha were the ones who backed off.

And now I'm saying it publicly: Dana Nelson this is the forum hr discussing the series Feriha airing on CNN. There are different translations online; you can't lie and claim someone is trolling just because they posted a line exactly as it was aired on CNN. I just watched the rerun and saw the moment when Emir said verbatim, "Feriha doesn't execute facts." I hope someone makes a GIF today so we can finally put this to rest.

Well, hello there. I can certainly see them all being quite active on this thread. All five of them, I suppose. 😁

I am stating this publicly. Dana Nelson This is the forum. hr Regarding the series featuring the girl named Feriha that is currently airing... CNN

That sounds excellent.
Let’s approach this differently. This was just one conversation among many in the series: http://postimg.org/gallery/bag2rq6y/

Following that, cosmicorca5 replied to her and ended up getting a warning: I suppose there isn't much to say regarding this specific matter. It seems quite straightforward.
After that, there were at least two more pages—though I have my settings adjusted to forty posts per page, so others might see even more—filled with endless, tedious arguments over who "they" was actually referring to in that scene involving Feriha.
By the way, I suppose your friend has already seen the series anyway. I looked it up online using that Google Translate feature..

In the same vein, I believe you should also allow those who disagree with them to respond to their posts. It shouldn't be the case that every post contradicting their views is constantly deleted or flagged, nor should there be warnings issued whenever a certain user is cornered and forced to admit they were lying or twisting the truth. On the previous thread, she laid everything out on PZK Holly. You didn't step in there. ☕

Well, I suppose that's all there is to say. 😁

Do you even understand what it means to moderate? Whether it's a forum or a specific topic? Based on how you handle the soap opera threads, I would say you haven't the slightest clue.
Perhaps the administration could take some time to look into all those deleted posts and profiles you shared—everything from the off-topic discussions to the general chat threads.
It is interesting to note that about a month ago, you also decided to ban my account for a chat discussion (which you were forced to rescind). As a justification, you claimed it was an accident—that in a sea of posts, you just happened to click on my case by mistake. However, I suspect that might not be entirely accurate, as only two posts were actually flagged that evening: mine and I believe one from Tina. At least, that is what is visible to me as a user; I suppose I will leave it to the administration to correct me if I am wrong. Furthermore, if your intention truly was to issue a ban regarding a specific chat, it is quite curious that you chose to target me while leaving the person I was actually arguing with untouched. I don't feel the need to mention their name. 😁 ).
I recall certain posts that were deleted from the "How Time Flies" thread, which were ultimately categorized as mere chat. This happened because one female forum member commented on some trivial nonsense, and then another user chimed in, stating she would never want anything like that anywhere near her.
I suppose one has to wonder how many other similar cases exist that have gone completely unnoticed by anyone.

Yes, let's just sterilize the entire PDF so we can stick to nothing but profound analyses. We should exclusively comment on the show's plot and characters, ensuring that absolutely nothing from real life can be brought up or used as an example, because apparently, that's all just way too much. My apologies, chat. That was a bit much.

By the way, Sara mentioned her own post, which is interesting—hers was flagged as trolling just the morning after Riva went on ban for the second time 😁 Right away?
Both these two posts were flagged, yet the posts immediately before and after them, which distort and mock the series plot in the exact same way, weren't flagged at all. I don't necessarily think they should have been sanctioned, but then again, neither should these have been.

Now, I’ll pull this from the archives, but since it's relevant (I can't recall any more recent examples):
Such an interesting take on the series and a certain way of highlighting: "Oh, look at me, I'm a moderator, part of the special elite".
And it seems quite evident that warnings about "what the author intended to convey" aren't just limited to the AFK thread.

That's all. Please, feel free to continue in this review-style tone. 🙂

Dana Nelson said:Let’s not pretend this is just about people being unable to handle different opinions.

I’d like to ask the moderators to make all the posts I've reported public on the PZK for review. Honestly, since joining this forum, I haven't reported a single thing until now.

And I have never seen communication like this on a forum before... it's honestly bottom-of-the-barrel. It's terrifying. What's the actual goal or motivation behind attacking me? That's what I want to know—how a single sentence or word from mine turns into this massive uproar where everyone starts mudslinging and throwing out ridiculous accusations.
That's just crazy.

Seriously, what is this thread even about? What's so controversial? Me, Warren Buffett, the Secretary, the moderators, Americans, or even someone's grandma.
I honestly can't believe what I'm reading. I don't know about the other users or the lurkers, but personally... I don't know whether to laugh or cry. This whole situation is as pathetic as it is hilarious.

In my opinion, with all due respect to them, the moderators are letting way too much slide.

I hear people are calling me out, so I figure I’ll just jump in and give you my two cents directly.
This has been hands down the toughest subject I’ve ever tackled on here. It’s honestly overwhelming. From day one, I was stunned by how aggressive everyone’s stance was on this, and then I even got confirmation of that hostility in an off-topic thread... at first, I thought they were joking, but it turns out they weren't.

And since when does anyone get to decide we all have to agree? Who else besides me gets to provide authentic interpretations of my own posts and my own perspective? The issue isn't the opinion itself; it's how it's being delivered. It's being handled with such intolerance and personal attacks that there have been countless times where I felt like just walking away from writing altogether. It’s exhausting—being a lone voice against a massive majority.

But look, I can't stop being myself. I’m going to write about what I see, what I feel, what I experience, and how I live my life... even if that means looking at things through a different lens. I tend to focus on characters who made mistakes and try to find the human side of them, because let's face it, everyone needs a little grace. Nobody is perfect... not on this forum, not the people behind the screen names, and not even the mods. But trying to find flaws in everyone else instead of looking in the mirror? That’s just awful, and frankly, pretty sad.

Every single time I post about Levi—who is my main inspiration for writing about this—people mock him. Fine, he’s just a character, but their mockery says way more about the people writing those posts than it does about the show. I feel like I’m standing in a windstorm of a loud majority that keeps shouting, but they won't silence me. My stance is mine alone, and I stand behind every word I write with my character, my education, and my years of life experience.

I’m not here to win a popularity contest or to have people insist that my posts are the only "truth." My truth is mine. There are plenty of perfectly lovely people in the other section of the forum whom I get along with beautifully—conversations that actually suit our age and maturity levels.

I totally get that people don't agree with me. Whether it's my style (apparently my use of punctuation bothers some people!) or my actual views, that's fine. But coming into this thread just to preach your own version of reality, quoting U.S. laws while the story is set somewhere else entirely... that’s just too much. Accusing others of being biased without actually reading what they wrote, or constantly seeing the speck in someone else's eye while ignoring the log in your own... it's exhausting.

I try my best to follow all the characters objectively, but yes, Levi’s character annoys me. I haven't seen so much whining and weakness in a long time, and apparently, that’s why I’m constantly being reported for my posts. Well, if that’s how you want to play it, go ahead.

What’s happening here is pure intolerance toward certain people—specifically toward me, because I’m not exactly a huge fan of Feriha. But I don't hate her; I don't hate anyone in this world. It’s heartbreaking that I’m being judged for that.

Is it really possible that writing, which should be a fun way to express ourselves, has turned into a situation where people are insulted just for having different views, and where you aren't even allowed to criticize a fictional character?

So many people have left this thread because they didn't write like the majority, and now people want to claim it’s because of me. If that’s how you feel, I can easily walk away. You won't have me hovering over your shoulders, watching your every move, or breathing down your necks. Once I'm gone, the thread will remain, with everyone bowing down to those who think exactly alike. And there you have it—the perfect echo chamber.

But I won't be gone without my quiet, small presence, because no one can take who I am away from me.

Anyway, kudos to the mods for wading through all our nonsense. After dealing with this, I don't think anyone's ever going to be the same again.

Yeah, that’s exactly it. I think I agree with you—that really is the heart of the issue.

I want to address this specific part.

We weren't calling you out—it was actually the exact opposite.

The rest of us on the forum actually pointed you out as a perfect example of someone we disagree with, yet still value because you actually contribute to the discussion and are always welcome here.

If you actually take a second to read our posts properly, you'll see we're mentioning you in a positive light.

Don't let certain people talk you into believing we have anything against you.

Look, I'm right there with you regarding Levent Vegetić—I love him, others don't, and yeah, I get heat for it, but it's all within the bounds of a normal conversation. 😂

Just don't go comparing yourself to people who aren't even in the same league as you.

Sending you big hugs, dear. 🙂

Dana Booth26, just like on the Feriha Sarrafoglu thread here on PZK, I honestly don't see why you're being called out.
Take a closer look at the previous posts; in posts 24, 26, 29, and 30, you were mentioned and actually praised in all four for being someone with a different perspective that we can still have a decent conversation with.

I didn't mean to come here just to complain.

I know we got that warning about the moderation getting stricter around here. I'm not complaining, honestly. I actually respect it. But...
goldenfalcon7 said:I only quoted this specific part because we've already seen the rest of what was posted and people have complained about it plenty of times. Whatever, I honestly don't even bother paying attention to her (Michael Ramos) or the nonsense she makes up anymore.

But something else is bothering me. The moderator deleted a post where I was quoting another user who was commenting on what happened in tonight's episode (specifically the main character's outfit). I was just adding to the conversation about what we saw. A third user even asked for pictures of what was shown, but once she realized the posts were being wiped, she had to 🙂 go back and edit her own post because she couldn't figure out what she was allowed to say or who she could quote anymore.😕

If the moderator is going to go around deleting things, why isn't she being careful about what she removes so she doesn't confuse everyone else? People might actually start thinking they didn't see what they saw (or that the moderator doesn't want them to see it 😁).

Looking at her "blue" warnings, I've pulled out a few things that I'm apparently not allowed to do—things I thought were fine, but apparently aren't 😢:

1. - I'm not allowed to comment on what other users write (even though I've always exclusively commented on their thoughts about the show before). 😕

2. and here she says to comment on what we saw, yet when we do, she deletes our posts. 😕

Could someone besides her finally tell us exactly what we can and cannot write? Her warnings have left us totally confused (at least I am 😕 🙂).

In the end, I just explained it to myself like this: write only what you saw, and when you do, expect to be deleted. It seems like it's better to write about things you *didn't* see, because practice shows you won't get deleted then. 😳 I might have overcomplicated that last sentence, but then again, that's exactly what the moderator does with her warnings 😳.

So, I’m the third person in this thread. I was just quoting bits from two or three other users to add my own take—and just to be clear, we weren't even talking about laws or anyone getting banned or anything like that. We were just discussing the characters, the plot, and what they were wearing. But after I hit send and went back to check the previous posts? Turns out the ones I was quoting have already been deleted. 😕 I’m honestly stuck on what to do here. I have no clue why those comments were deleted in the first place, so I went ahead and scrubbed the part of my post where I was quoting those users. It just feels wrong, you know? It seems pretty silly to leave their words sitting there if their actual posts have been wiped out. 🤷 And why was it deleted? No clue.

Raymond Gray2 said:I don't want to get dragged into this debate (though I totally get why people are complaining)
It's just a fact that everyone's being kicked off the thread. Normally, we'd have pages and pages of posts after a single episode, but yesterday? Total ghost town. Nobody’s posting anything—or if they do, it just gets deleted
so much

I feel like people are slowly drifting away from the topic too. Even I started feeling that way myself.

Look, my take? Nobody should be walking away from the table. We can all sit here and have a civilized conversation, even if we don't see eye to eye. And if you spot a troll? Just don't feed them. Simple as that.

We have a massive problem on the girl named Feriha thread.

Moderator Adam is out here deleting perfectly normal discussions about the show and its plot—while simultaneously letting Michael Ramos4 run wild on the forum, trolling everyone and making up her own fan fiction scenarios for the series.

I’ve already reported her for trolling—honestly, I couldn't help myself—and now I'm hearing from other women on the forum that, even though I'm still pretty new here, she's been flagged by plenty of others too.

There are several AFK threads floating around here—one of which features a pretty controversial female user who seems to turn that specific thread into an endless battlefield. She’s even dropping profanity in her posts. And honestly? Aside from Jay, the moderators are just letting it slide.

We don't run into these issues on the other AFK threads where that one controversial female user stays away. Honestly, you could have 100 women all holding completely different opinions—it wouldn't matter—because the vibe is just pure banter and total harmony.

Plus, this forum user is openly supporting violence against women.

I just reported her post where she says all that—but honestly, since moderator Adam is letting it slide, I’m not buying her plea for sympathy for a second.

Please read my application to the moderators.

I'm reporting this post for hate speech.

This forum user is openly advocating for physical violence against women. That’s a straight-up criminal offense under Article 325, Paragraph 1 of the Penal Code—inciting public violence and hatred.

I don't need to remind anyone that Warren Buffett ended up behind bars and is currently facing trial because of this mess. Honestly, if someone like him can be taken down, I feel like I should actually put in some effort to figure out who Riva really is.

Please, stop allowing this—just ban her from participating in any discussions regarding women or any other female-centric topics where she clearly has nothing of value to contribute.

slap
If you ask me, that slap was exactly what Emir was going to do—just a predictable reaction to Roman’s provocation, which, as Roman already pointed out, was totally over the line and completely out of pocket. Honestly, now is really not the time for that kind of pushing and playing games. It’s just interrogating something that makes absolutely zero sense at that moment—honestly, what's the point?
Look, just to be crystal clear—I’m not trying to justify a slap in the face here, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves. But honestly? You reap what you sow. If you go looking for the devil, don't act surprised when he actually shows up. In this specific case, that slap is the devil coming to collect.
Shoving things in someone's face without thinking—and testing Emir's patience like that—is just plain rude and arrogant. Emir tries to shut it down, telling her, "Let's not go there, Feriha; we’re going to end up regretting this." He’s angry, understandably so, given everything he's dealing with—Riva, his father, the Yilmaz family, having his funding pulled—it’s a mess. It’s not like he has all the answers figured out yet, but instead of helping, Feriha keeps pushing Levent on him. I mean, if she had mentioned some random guy, fine, but it's *Levent*. Doesn't Feriha realize how much just the mention of Levent sets Emir off? Has she learned nothing from their history? It's like she doesn't know him at all. She promised she'd stand by him through everything, then went back on her word. She isn't offering any actual help or support during this shared crisis; honestly, she's just draining the life out of him, which is pretty much her specialty. To me, that isn't love. Feriha isn't showing any real affection here—when she needs to be his rock, she fails the test time and time again.

Aysun gave her a serious lecture—I'm honestly not even sure if Fer caught the drift of it. For the most part, she just kept staring at the floor or looking off to the side. And honestly, what I found most irritating was how Aysun tried to throw her off balance; it was such a cheap shot, totally in Fer's own style. Aysun actually handed her a perfect opening to prove her wrong, but Fer just doesn't know how to read between the lines. She can't prove anything because, well, the slap was followed immediately by her running away—who knows how many times now? You can't just run away from everything. You can't run away from a marriage or the hard stuff. You have to carry that weight and stand by the person you love.
@Akif, I’m with you on this one—your post hits the nail on the head. A marriage built on zero foundation, made without any real thought and for all the wrong reasons, is exactly why we’re seeing this mess unfold. Honestly, it’ll probably stay this way too, as long as Feriha refuses to trust Emir. She spends all her time running away from everything, and frankly, her behavior toward people—especially how she treats Emir—means she isn't going to achieve a single thing. The way she communicates is just... grating. It’s irrational, totally lacks tact, and shows zero consideration for anyone else. She’s so hyper-focused on her own interests and avoiding any kind of hardship that it always ends up blowing up right in her face. And let's talk about Emir—he definitely can't carry the weight of the world alone. In my opinion, he’s basically fighting these life battles and marriage struggles entirely by himself. He's lonely in that relationship. As for Feriha, it’s like she never developed a moral compass to begin with. She just wanders aimlessly through life, refusing to learn from her mistakes, somehow convinced that everything will just magically work itself out. She’s constantly at odds with everyone she meets. Where is she supposed to go? She feels suffocated by those massive buildings, cramped in her apartment—everywhere feels too small for her. But if you ask me, she’s most uncomfortable in her own skin, trapped by that cluttered, chaotic mess inside her own head.

If you actually take the time to read the post you’re referencing—and honestly, if you just looked at all the other stuff this user posts that clearly gets under your skin—you’d see that what they're saying is a total lie.

Dana Nelson said:Look, regarding my previous rule-breaking—specifically the spoilers—I’ve been penalized, and I’m not even going to deny that I spoiled anything. I was new to the forum and didn't really grasp the rules yet.

This is the second time you've wiped out my on-topic posts, and honestly, your moderation style is the only thing I've actually complained about here—and that's saying something, since I've been in touch with other moderators like Jay and Bea, whose handling of things I have zero issues with.

So, on this thread, I only quoted your own message, which clearly shows you're just making up excuses for why you deleted my posts. You claimed I was arguing with people on the forum, then turned around and gave me a warning saying I wasn't allowed to disagree with people on the forum.

Actually, I'm kind of glad you quoted one of the posts you deleted tonight—you know, the second one you quoted.

It's because you've basically shown that as a moderator, you're completely contradicting yourself.

Let's take a look at that second post of mine that you quoted.

Is it on-topic? Yes.

Is the post related to the show's plot? Yes.

Does the post discuss specific scenes and events from the series? Yes.

Is the post about the specific behavior of the characters? Yes.

Is it rude, like those posts your friend makes? No.

Also, I'd love for you to quote my last post from the thread you deleted—the one where I comment on the characters' reactions to tonight's episode—so we can see exactly what else you've scrubbed and how much your moderation of this thread has absolutely nothing to do with the actual forum rules.

My first post, the one you quoted, was written because nobody could stand the mockery of physical violence against a woman on that thread started by Riva anymore. After I posted, there was just a wave of positive reactions from other members, which is living proof that people in that thread don't approve of your moderation and that you, as a moderator, are allowing the level of communication to drop below rock bottom.

Furthermore, now you're bringing up some supposed "subsequent agreements" with other moderators regarding the deletion of that first post you quoted, but that very post was publicly approved by one of the moderators on the thread.

Also, I'm just thrilled that as a moderator, you'd bring up my late grandmother in such a sarcastic and rude way—even if you think it's hilarious 😁—because doing that completely strips you of any valid argument and any right to accuse someone of flame war tactics.

Obviously, you don't even know them now.

cosmicorca5 said:I have to say, I am completely on the same page as Dana Nelson regarding this entire situation. This pattern of justifying violence isn't just a one-off comment tucked away in a single post; it’s been written repeatedly over and over again. The women in this community have already voiced their concerns, which is exactly why I stepped in to cite the Violence Against Women Act. I know, I know—citing legal definitions might seem out of place here, but I felt it was absolutely necessary to act as a reality check. We need certain people on this forum to realize that you can't just write whatever you want without consequences, especially since nobody seems to bother responding to the trolls targeting Michael Ramos4. To make matters even more interesting, moderator Jay actually left the post up with a note attached. However, shortly after that, moderator Adam M. went ahead and wiped out the post along with all the other legitimate discussions about yesterday's episode and its characters. And let's get one thing straight: this isn't some baseless grievance where I'm just complaining because someone happened to mention my name. It’s about the content itself.

If promoting violence is such a direct violation of this forum's rules, then why hasn't the moderator in charge of this specific thread stepped in to shut it all down? Why haven't those posts been sanctioned? It would be incredibly simple for her to just lay it out in plain English: state clearly that inciting violence is strictly forbidden both here on this platform and in the real world, and remind everyone that encouraging it isn't just a breach of etiquette—it’s a criminal offense punishable under the Penal Code. Dana Nelson She actually reported it!? Seriously, why does everyone feel the need to flag posts constantly? It’s like nobody actually understands what the issue is—and even when they do report them, nothing ever gets taken down anyway. I honestly have to wonder if anyone is even reading her posts. I’m certainly not the only one who noticed this, and I’m definitely not the first to point out a post where a troll was explicitly making excuses for violence. How many other people on this forum saw that and just stayed silent?

None of those other deleted posts—which weren't mine, by the way, since I only dropped two comments there yesterday—contained any off-topic nonsense or trolling, at least from what I could gather. They were nothing more than straightforward commentary on the episode airing on CNN. Those posts were perfectly fine because they were strictly focused on discussing the events and characters within the show.

Those posts were deleted, but let’s be real—they were pure trolling. They were flagged, and there was a whole detailed explanation right there in the thread explaining exactly how it was a troll job. Even the moderator, Jay, stepped in with a warning explicitly stating that we were dealing with a troll. The reason they weren't wiped clean? Because once again, it’s all about Michael Ramos4. (If I’m misremembering the specifics, my apologies, but it is glaringly obvious here that this troll is being protected.)

Moderator Jay actually did his job today on this thread by issuing two warnings, but then I noticed that moderator Adam went ahead and wiped out his first warning. To make matters worse, she followed that up by deleting his actual posts, which were perfectly fine. It’s honestly baffling to me how one moderator looks at something and sees grounds for deletion, while another moderator views the exact same thing as completely acceptable. 😕.

They’ve gone ahead and wiped out posts that weren't even controversial, and after having several whole pages of content, we're left with barely two. It's like watching someone take a sledgehammer to a library just because they didn't like one book on the shelf; suddenly, an entire archive of discussion has been reduced to nothing. 😲Honestly, I’m completely at a loss when it comes to these kinds of moves. I truly don't wrap my head around the logic here—what is the point of deleting posts that are perfectly fine and follow all the rules? It feels totally arbitrary.

The trolling has been completely out of hand, and despite these posts being reported repeatedly, there’s still zero reaction from the moderators. It’s like shouting into a void. Even though it is beyond obvious to anyone with eyes that this is nothing but pure, unadulterated trolling, the reports just seem to vanish into thin air. We're talking about these specific posts:
Just trolling—this wasn't actually shown in the series, and if you want the full breakdown, I’ve already laid out the explanation in the thread dedicated to that specific post.
Just trolling—that wasn't even shown in the series.
Just trolling and going off-topic.
Just trolling—and honestly, that’s not even how it was portrayed.
-trolling (explained in this thread)

How on earth can those trolling posts I listed above stay up? It’s because Michael Ramos4 teamed up with another troll on the thread!

All these trolling posts are being treated as legitimate contributions and left untouched despite multiple reports, yet everyone else’s posts are being wiped out without any justification. I honestly cannot wrap my head around how this censorship works. The only thing that comes to mind is that River simply refuses to agree with those specific posts.

Furthermore, if anyone else tries to troll—and isn't posting under River's handle—their posts get nuked immediately. So why are River's trolls allowed to stay? It makes zero sense to me because we aren't talking about a difference of opinion here; it's pure, unadulterated trolling, plain and simple.

I am certain that if you actually looked at the deleted content, you’d see how completely irrational this mass deletion is. There was nothing wrong with those posts; they weren't trolling, they weren't off-topic, they weren't insulting, and they weren't provocative. They were strictly discussing what happened in yesterday's episode and nothing else.
How can describing an event or a character from the show be considered "off-topic"?! 😲 😕 Because apparently, that's why those posts were deleted.
Posts are vanishing within a minute or two of being written, even when they are directly about the show's plot. And just like Sam Ramirez81 pointed out, even posts where the user doesn't quote anyone else are being scrubbed. Are we not even allowed to do that anymore?

Look, I have absolutely nothing against having a different perspective. On the threads I've participated in regarding AFK, we’ve always been able to exchange opposing views without a single fight breaking out. But here, where there is blatant trolling, that's impossible. This whole situation is completely dysfunctional.

As for the warnings, I have to side with goldenfalcon7. It feels like we aren't allowed to reply to anyone or comment on dissenting opinions without facing a ban 🙄. Meanwhile, troll River can do whatever she wants.

It baffles me how a troll is still permitted to post when it was stated loudly and clearly in the previous PZK thread that THIS PERSON IS TROLLING IN 90% OF THEIR POSTS!!
If you follow the logic, the moderators on that thread essentially allowed 90% of invalid posts to remain active without penalizing the troll, and now that same troll is back, posting the exact same nonsense without any consequences.

There is no point in participating in a thread like that anymore, and lately, nobody wants to post there because of this troll and the uncontrolled deletions. The troll is achieving exactly what they want: driving people away from the discussion. How much longer is this going to be tolerated?

It’s become obvious that River creates chaos in every single thread she touches, and surely that should be enough to shut down her 90% trolling streak once and for all. What is eventually going to be the breaking point? Will it be a string of 100% trolling posts, or something even worse? 😕 🤷

I am in full agreement with everything Sam Ramirez81 and goldenfalcon7 have written.

Michael Ramos4 didn't promote violence—honestly, they did the exact opposite. But hey, if you’re really convinced they did, why don't you go ahead and quote the "Protection Act for Imaginary Characters"? You know, that totally real law that definitely exists?

If someone is actually out here cheering for the wolf to die in Little Red Riding Hood, am I going to pull out the Animal Protection Act and quote it at them? Honestly, if they’re really that twisted, maybe I should!

Since you’re clearly so invested in this, why don't you head over to the Suljin topic and report every single post where someone suggests throwing fish at one of the characters? Don't go running to the moderators or the cops—just go straight to the source.

That "opinion" is nothing more than a blatant lie, just like the example you provided yourself earlier; she’s fabricating events that never actually happened, so how is she allowed to do that?
There is a massive gulf between forming an opinion based on what you’ve actually seen on screen—commenting on whether someone likes a certain development or not—and straight-up inventing scenarios out of thin air to justify hating or loving something that isn't even there.
The others who don't like Feriha aren't spinning yarns or spreading falsehoods. Twisting words and outright lying are two very different things, as far as I'm concerned. 🤷
I honestly don't get why my questions are being ignored. 🤷

It would be wonderful if all those troll-like posts from Michael Ramos4 were wiped clean instead of just sitting there (though I wouldn't hold my breath). ☕Trolling is eating up a massive amount of pages in this thread; how is this permitted without any consequences, and why is it still being tolerated?

Second point: they're allowed to do it, but where exactly aren't we? 😕 Seriously, we aren't even allowed to reply to people who disagree with us—which is exactly what you admitted earlier—otherwise, we'll get banned. Why is that the case? 😕

Aha, just like that! She lied. So, regarding this whole "twisting the facts" nonsense—since it’s already been proven that isn't happening, let's actually talk about the fact that Fahr isn't twisting anything at all. Basically everything.. 😂

stormycrane3 said:First off, I want to say that I am fully behind the appeals and all the complaints being made. I honestly agree with everyone else on this forum who has shared their thoughts so far.

😂

It’s crystal clear—if you claim you don't like Feriha, you're obviously just trolling.
I’m honestly shocked you didn't mention that she actually said Feriha doesn't even wash her hair! I mean, how does she have the nerve to say something like that? 😂 ROFL
You clearly have no clue what we're even talking about. image

Dana Nelson said:I want to address this specific part.

So, you think you're the one deciding who gets to walk through the door around here? Who exactly do you think you are, playing gatekeeper? 🙏

---
I honestly don't know when they started allowing people to open threads just to talk about other forums, but this multi-day shouting match over on the River has become, quite frankly, absolutely disgusting.

The ladies on this forum are acting so incredibly offended, practically begging for some kind of intervention or protection just so they can obsess over some fictional character in peace—all while simultaneously hurling these disgusting accusations and blatant lies at someone who isn't even a real person! It’s honestly pathetic. 🙏 🤣

Warren Buffett, Jovanovic, hate speech, that old hag, inciting violence against women, the Penal Code... Fahr's post was actually solid and really heartfelt. Honestly, if anyone disagrees with her, they shouldn't even be living in this society. image

Michael Ramos4 said:I’d like to ask the moderators to make all the posts I've reported public on the PZK for review.

That is exactly what people here are complaining about—the constant whining plus the deletion of posts that don't even insult anyone and just discuss things actually shown in the series. ☕

You told me directly on the thread that you would issue a public apology if the person who requested that controversial gif and image spoke up. Well, moderator Adam stepped in (so thanks to him), but I haven't seen your apology yet. So much for decent forum etiquette. It's awful.

Anyway, let's stop escalating the debate because there's really no point—let the admins handle this whole soap opera mess, and we'll just wait things out in peace. ☕

@Dana Nelson, @Nicole Palmer4,

I’ve been reading through everything carefully, as I always do. People keep talking about groups and using plural terms... but honestly, let's just move past that. Let's try to maintain a spirit of tolerance and mutual respect here...

I was running around like crazy earlier, so I didn't get a chance to write all of this down, but it specifically concerns the attacks being leveled against moderator Adam M....
In my personal estimation, those accusations are completely baseless. From what I’ve experienced personally, he is a fair, objective, and totally professional moderator.

I used to participate heavily in the BBO threads, where things could get incredibly heated and intense, but discussions were always backed by solid arguments. In those threads, the aforementioned moderator was in charge and even posted her own takes—which, frankly, were often the polar opposite of my own views and logic—yet I never once encountered a situation like this. I never felt like my opinions were being suppressed, nor was I ever personally attacked or made to feel defeated. Because of that, I can confidently conclude that she is doing an incredible job, especially given the bizarre circumstances she’s currently facing... which are honestly mind-blowing. No topics were shut down unfairly, and no one was getting banned without cause...

Personally, I don't go around reporting other users. To me, that’s just beneath contempt. I believe everyone here should be allowed to exchange ideas, just like in real life. Everyone should just do their job to the best of their ability while following the rules—rules that I live by every single day...

It would be a wonderful thing if we all took a moment to look in the mirror, evaluate how we express ourselves and treat others, and stopped pointing fingers at everyone else for the very things we are guilty of ourselves...

There is simply no way that a character from some random soap opera should be able to sow such discord among real people. Writing on a forum is supposed to be a test of our ability to express our opinions and connect with others; it isn't some life-or-death struggle for survival...

If the whole point of the series is love, then maybe we should actually try living it...
