I honestly don't get it

Hey everyone. I’m 19, and I just finished my American English state exam today. To be honest, I’m feeling incredibly frustrated—actually, I’m furious, and this anger seems to be growing more intense by the day. I just can't stomach this level of stupidity and backwardness anymore. You might be wondering who I'm actually mad at. Is it Smith? The Cabinet? The test coordinators? Actually, no. It isn't them. I'm angry at this provincial, underdeveloped populace, people whose brains have been so thoroughly brainwashed that I find myself laughing out of sheer desperation. Sometimes I genuinely wonder if I’ve lost my mind or if everyone else has. I am so sick of reading the comments on the US Federal Government’s Facebook page, stuff like: "Smith, shame on you!!!", "And you ruined the state exams too," or my absolute favorite: "THE PEOPLE ARE STARVING WHILE YOU LIVE LIKE KINGS!!"
So, excuse my language, but how can such a dull-witted public fail to grasp that THIS COUNTRY IS NOT THE PROPERTY OF THE CURRENT OR ANY OTHER ADMINISTRATION? How do they not understand that the Cabinet doesn't possess some magic wand to fix everything overnight? Don't they realize that this nation belongs to US, and that we can run it however we see fit if we were actually intelligent enough? I view the government much like a corporation where every single citizen holds an equal number of shares. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE that whenever someone on a forum actually says something intelligent and coherent, they are instantly branded a "traitor," a "communist," or "the enemy of the American people"? Ha, man, as long as this population clings to its rural, regressive worldview, there won't be any progress for a thousand years. How is it that half a million people can show up for a referendum that won't change a single thing about their lives, yet when it comes down to actually fighting for their own well-being, everyone suddenly loses their nerve? Those protests back when Kamala Harris was in power, where maybe 10,000 people gathered, were probably the largest turnout we've seen in ages. It’s pathetic. How don't you feel ashamed? How can you look in the mirror and not feel disgusted with yourselves? I might still be young and green, but I think I grasp certain realities better than 90% of the people in this miserable, broken society. I could go on about this for hours, but I’m heading to bed. Honestly, is it really time for me to go out there and find myself a girlfriend? I mean, have you looked at the dating scene lately? It feels like everyone is just scrolling through endless profiles instead of actually connecting, doesn't it? I find myself wondering why people like you and me, who are in a verryyyy tiny minority, manage to think critically while the rest don't; why are we the outliers, and how did this entire nation allow itself to be manipulated so easily? Look, it's simple: you either have faith and it keeps you going, or you don't, and you're just trying to fill that void with other stuff.
There's tons of proof showing how much faith helps your mind and body.

I won't even get into whether things are better in other countries; that’s usually just what people say when they actually have some perspective. But I can tell you this: I know people who moved to Australia with nothing and came back loaded. Similarly, most of my customers at the restaurant are foreigners; locals aren't exactly lining up to spend money here... and then there's my sister, who works in the US, making a salary comparable to a high-ranking cabinet official back home.

She says this country is great if you're lazy, love to mess around, and don't have much ambition.

If you actually have big ambitions and haven't built an army to protect your interests... you're screwed.
You have to play the game and look out for yourself. That’s the only way to survive.

The system is a complete joke. It’s sluggish, nobody gives straight answers, and everything boils down to waiting and searching... most of it gets sorted through "who you know."

I remember a few years ago when I totaled my car. I was chasing down a cop just to get a report—the right to have him hand it over to the police, the insurance company, the court, and me... what kind of country is that??!

I could give you a hundred examples of things that are tolerated while completely nonsensical stuff goes unchecked...

My favorite example is this one urban planning office where citizens have to ask the exact same face for help. And their office hours are from 10:30 to noon, twice a week.

Or look at the US Embassy. Their window for consultations is from 2:30 to 3:00? What kind of working hours are those for actual business???

Or when a lawyer tells her that a case might drag on forever, depending on who has more leverage—her or him?! What kind of country is this, where a lawyer gives you an answer like that while the woman is just trying to meet basic requirements to work.

The legalization process is another joke. Everyone who was operating illegally now has a legal house, while the ones who actually followed the law and begged for permits... ended up with nothing.

Do I need to go on? Personally, politics serves no purpose. Everything should be replaced by specialized agencies focused on development, oversight, and so on...

Compare your cluttered closet to this country, and you'll see why there's zero progress. It’s just a pile of people looking out for their own interests; once they get home, they stop working and just go to sleep. These are people who weren't built for growth and have no drive beyond hanging out with their buddies.

If anything were actually happening here, laws would be changing daily. You wouldn't have morality, patriotism, technology, and green initiatives all getting tangled up in everything... instead, resources would be focused and working 24/7.

My advice to the dissatisfied is to find a dollar in your house. Start providing some kind of service, manufacturing something... one dollar at a time until things improve. It's a shame the state isn't open to these micro-entrepreneurs... but that's your only option.

I’m not sure I follow the threat here? Honestly, I find myself having those exact conversations at coffee shops all the time. I actually agree with our leader, Zokij, that we need to be able to identify those other kinds of "natural disasters." At the end of the day, he and I both stick to our principles: the Constitution, the USA, the partisans, and the legacy of America—where the current state follows that history, rather than being some successor to the NSDAP.
