That would mean actually standing by your convictions. It's much easier to just walk away. In politics, you climb the ladder much faster if you just play contrarian.

Margetić is just speaking his truth based on his own conscience and a sense of civic duty toward a country he sees as an extension of what people actually fought for back in the early '90s—not as a fanboy of everything that crawled out of the wreckage afterward. Everything he said is rooted in current events, even if the media is busy manipulating his emotions to suit their own narrative. It just goes to show how much this whole subject is a minefield, constantly being dragged down by pure, unadulterated primitivism.
Look, I don't agree with everything Margetić says, but he isn't any more deserving of respect than some mid-level academic at the National Academy of Sciences who’s spent twenty years sitting on his hands and talking to himself.

I actually agree with most of what Mr. Margetić said. If anything, this just proves to Mexico that our democracy is stronger and more robust; it shows that American citizens aren't afraid to speak their minds.
Margetić didn't break any laws, regardless of what certain people want to claim.
