Don't you see that the people are the heart and soul of this forum? You can't just go around displacing folks from their roles simply because they don't align with your perspective. Why was the Mi-24 removed from the admin team? And why does Endymion no longer have access to the natural science PDF?
Now, this entire sub-forum is essentially rendered useless. It will just become a collection of tedious pseudo-scientific topics and theories that lack any real substance... people won't even bother posting meaningful content anymore; instead, everything will devolve into mindless chatter and endless, empty arguments.

Who on earth are you supposed to show these advertisements to if there's nobody left on the forum besides a handful of spammy idiots?

I honestly don't see why they don't apply that exact same logic to clear out the people who are just dragging the reputation of the "natural science" subforum through the mud. Seriously, why not just turn every single subforum into some sort of exclusive little elite club or a gated society?

You make a fair point, 👍 though I suppose we have to accept that a forum is ultimately meant to be a place for differing opinions. If someone starts a thread about, say, Perpetual Motion, then everyone should ideally just agree that perpetual motion exists and leave it at that. If anyone dares to claim otherwise, they ought to be required to immediately provide a mountain of scientific evidence to back up their stance. 🙂

Spot on. If we're following the same logic they used to ban Endymion from the "on the edge of science" section over in natural science, then hundreds of other members should've been banned ages ago for the nonsense they post.

Look, it's interesting how the forum keeps getting worse while the degenerates keep increasing. By that logic, Anderlon is king, and I’d gladly take his place. About two years ago, when there were half the people and the forum was three times more intense, people were saying the exact same thing—that the forum would be twice as big by today.

I can certainly see why it might appear that way at first glance. However, if we look at what happened with the VIP forum, the pattern becomes clear. Suddenly, there was an explosion of activity, with twenty or thirty times the usual amount of users, and nearly a hundred new threads being opened every single day. And where is it now? It’s a ghost town. All those superficial and tedious topics eventually burned themselves out, and since there was nobody left to engage in actual, reasoned debate, the entire platform simply went dead. We risk facing the exact same fate here if everything boils down to mindless boasting on LJES while all the meaningful discussions are shut down and the real participants simply drift away.😉
