Where can I pick up some black tights with a back seam (that continuous line running down the entire length of the leg) in New York City, ideally on a budget?
I just picked some up at Victoria's Secret, and when I finally wore them today, they were already full of holes—and I didn't even snag them on anything. There were at least four different rips, and $15 I actually paid full price for them.
I need a size Medium, thanks.🙂

I loathe wearing tights, though they are occasionally an unavoidable necessity 😢 so I am requesting recommendations for the most sheer, virtually invisible, or self-supporting options on the market. 🤣

Thank you immensely 😁

The ones from Small town, USA are actually really high quality, and the price is pretty much the same. They carry all the sizes, too.

Ugh, I honestly can't stand wearing tights, but when the temperature drops, I end up reaching for the 70 denier ones just to survive...
that’s exactly why I absolutely loathe winter🙂...I am seriously counting down the days until it finally warms up😁

Honestly, the absolute best sheer tights I have ever laid hands on in my entire life are those chic silver low-waist ones from the Adriatic Sea line—specifically the medium shade, because that powder tone is just way too pale for my liking 🙂)) Every single one of my girlfriends was completely obsessed once I told them about them. Now, I’m on a mission to find some without the little polka dots; does anyone know where I can actually track those down?

So, I was browsing through Walmart today and spotted some $10. They’re almost like a light cream color, you know? Not quite skin tone, just really bright.

Also, just a little heads-up for those of you who do your shopping over in San Francisco—I swung by that new trendy boutique in the department store there and they had all sorts of tights and pantyhose in different thicknesses and patterns, all for just $6.25!! It’s wild because you see the exact same stuff at the street stalls along the boardwalk selling for 30.

I don't mean the ones with the darker reinforced toe area, but more like this:

Thanks.

I believe Marks & Spencer carries those, so you might want to check their store. Maybe they could even order them for you if they don't have them in stock.

That's it. 🙂
Oh, by the way, I just noticed they’ve actually knocked 50% off all those winter jackets too. It’s a pretty solid deal if you're looking to bundle up. I'll make sure to post all the details over in the sales thread in a bit.

Hey guys 😁

Does anyone know where I can find some tights (not insanely pricey ones) that actually last over 100 days? I need them for girls taller than 5'7". Every single pair I've picked up lately—whether it was from H&M, C&A, or Target—has felt way too short, even when I go for the L or XL sizes. It's such a joke.

Does anyone know where I can pick up some tights like these? I'm looking for something similar, but maybe not from Victoria's Secret—their prices are a bit steep for me right now...

Thanks!

@Peter Cooper5: If by tights you mean pantyhose (I’ll never get used to these different terms 😁), I highly recommend Victoria's Secret and their 3/4 length ones. I'm over 5'8" and don't exactly consider myself the height of elegance 😁, but everything fits perfectly 🙂

Plus, if you buy them now, they aren't nearly as pricey since there's a sale going on 😉.

I don't even say "pantyhose," I was actually thinking more along the lines of those thick cotton or maybe "wool" ones.

I might check out Victoria's Secret, but honestly, I know they'll be way overpriced, so I haven't really bothered looking yet.

I'm with her on this one 👍.
That's the only place I shop (when they have sales!), they're high quality, look great, and at 5'8", they fit me like a glove!

So, what sizes were you guys actually wearing?

I’d probably go with either 3/4 of the thin ones or the thick L size.

Eda, if you're looking for those basic ones 😁—you know, plain black, no patterns, nothing fancy—there's a vendor at the Marketplace on the bench between the scales near the station and the scales used for unloading. I think there might even be better options further up, right across from the Real Estate office, at the very start of the row of stalls once you cross the street by the Garden and keep going along the walkway instead of heading toward the park. Hopefully, that wasn't too much of a rambling explanation. 😁 Personally, I don't care for them because they feel somewhat stiff; I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm pretty sure they're cheaper than what you'd find at Victoria's Secret... Just a heads-up though, there's a sale happening, so you should hurry if you want to check them out. I was over at CC1 earlier and managed to pick up 8 pairs for about 300 bucks. 🙂 I haven't been to the outlet yet, and apparently, you can find decent stuff there too, but it's always a gamble with larger sizes since everyone snaps them up first. :-P

Haha, yeah, you explained it perfectly, but... I know exactly what you mean 😁 Honestly, I just wish they were actually comfortable instead of digging into my skin while I'm wearing them. Whatever, I'll go check out Victoria's Secret. Hopefully there are sales happening downtown too, and not just at CC1 since I'm heading over that way anyway 🙂
