They actually have some really cool designsโI picked up two of their bodysuits last year and honestly? Iโm super happy with them!

Oh hey, I see there's one in my city too, though Iโve actually never stepped foot inside... ๐I'll probably head over and check it out sometime soon, then I'll let you guys know what I think.

So, about two years ago, I picked up a swimsuit from Targetโit was super affordable and the quality was actually really solid!

Ugh, I am so frustrated right now... ๐
I need to find a light, airy summer dressโnothing too long, just anything that isn't black, since I can't exactly show up to a courthouse wedding looking like I'm heading to a funeral... and obviously, I need it by $167 ๐.
I already wasted my time checking out H&M, C&A, and Takko Fashion... but I couldn't find a single thing in my size. Everything is just way too small. I guess maybe there's something at Nordstrom, New Look, or somewhere else entirely?
HELP!!!

I haven't been to Oltre in like, a month... maybe they dropped some new stuff lately. ๐คท
Go check out Avenue, heโll be there too, right near Marks... nothing else really jumps out at me.
Everything else, like Modea and whatever, feels like it's gonna be way pricier... Maybe try Centra? They usually have more options too.
Anyway, let me know how the hunt went and what you ended up grabbing!
If you're totally stuck, just pivot to something fancyโlike a glittery top or one of those cute things with bell sleeves or something... maybe something a bit extra? Pair that with black skinny pants and some nice flats or shoes down below.

What exactly do you mean by "semi-formal" and "flowy"?

bella... thanks, I'll take a look... I was also thinking about checking out some stores at Target... I've managed to find a few decent tops and skirts there before...
kris79... so, something I could actually wear to work every day, maybe, or if we're going out to dinner or attending a wedding...
I don't want to just wear it once for my wedding and then shove it in the back of my closet forever...
Something along these lines, I guess:

God, itโs so frustrating seeing all these photos of gorgeous clothes made for curvy women when you can't even find anything like it in this damn country... ๐

Wait, are you seriously meddling in my business right now? lol.. I actually thought you were heading off to some wedding or something.. So, I guess youโve still got some time on your hands then.
Maybe the move is to just find a killer photo and hunt down a decent seamstress.. Otherwise, I honestly doubt you'll be totally happy with how everything turns out..
Personally, Iโm always all about those dresses with sleeves that cover the upper arms.. even if they're like those flowy bell sleeves or whatever.. I don't know what your vibe is, but I can't stand having my upper arms showing, especially at a big formal event where everyone is staring and snapping photos left and right.. plus, it's just way more comfortable...

off topic:
not me. some things can't be hidden, and trying to mask them just makes that area look even more obvious.
just imagine what I'd say for my wedding dress ๐ฌ ๐คฆ

But how "formal" are we talking? I was immediately thinking of Nordstrom, maybe a boutique in Soho...
they have those slightly more relaxed stylesโnot for everyone, obviously, but they're classy, feminine, and usually cut well enough to fit most body types.

Bella... look, I don't really have much time here. Iโm getting married in a month. I already have my wedding dress, but since the ceremony falls on a holiday at the courthouse, weโre doing the actual wedding a day early.
I definitely won't be wearing the gown thenโI mean, I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise for my fiancรฉ, and honestly, I can't exactly walk down the aisle in denim jeans...
We just finalized everything a few days ago, right after filing the paperwork at the clerk's office...
So, yeah, I guess I actually do need something nice to wear for the reception... ufff.

Dana Wilson said:Is Crodel just some brand Badiฤ uses over at Pletix?
Nope!
Just like Pletix, Crodel is actually an American manufacturer tooโthey're totally separate entities!

Daisy, check this out... there are different sizes available too. We just gotta make sure the shipping won't be a total nightmare and actually gets here when it's supposed to:

I wouldn't call it hiding anything, really. Itโs more like making a smart choice based on your body type and all that stuff.
Post a pic of the dress! ๐

Do they actually have a website? I was hunting around for one but came up empty...

I can't find it either, sorry!
I know I bought one of their swimsuits at Nordstrom.
