Ladies, I need an expert opinion here.🙂
I spotted this gorgeous indigo blue summer dress—cotton linen blend, knee-length, priced at $50... is that overkill?
🙂Also, what’s the verdict on wearing dresses when you’re rocking thicker legs and overalls all the time?

No, that’s totally fine... (btw, are we talking about C&A? 🤣)... I just bought myself a knee-length denim skirt for $50 and I honestly don't know if I'll have the guts to actually wear it :nikodmenesemanjaksamopouzdanjanevidiuopće:.

I don't think it's actually expensive, unless you're shopping at a store that runs frequent sales—in which case, just wait for a discount 😁 And honestly, it’s not a "problem" for me to see a dress on a curvy person, but there's no way I could pull it off myself (maybe for a night out, but definitely not these daytime ones; probably because even when I was at my "normal" weight, I never really wore dresses)

No way 🙂... we're talking about a flea market. A "boutique" at a flea market 🤣

Saw a gorgeous piece at Macy's today, but honestly—it’s a bit out of my budget; $227 so now I'm just playing the waiting game for the sale.
$50 It’s not really that much for a dress, assuming it’s actually your style and you love it.
I don't pick up clothes at local flea markets, so I can't really weigh in on that.
Usually, I just wear whatever feels comfortable and looks good—which, for me, means mini skirts, long skirts, sundresses, and shorts...

Does anyone know how many days it typically takes for an order from Dorothy Perkins to actually arrive?
I’m looking to pick up a swimsuit—we’re heading to the coast next week—and I have no idea if it’ll make the cut in time 😕

Also, just a heads-up: Macy's is still running that summer dress clearance through tomorrow. They go up to XXL and the prices are $30 😉

Yesterday I treated myself to some gorgeous XXL dresses at Macy's for $39.90. 😍

Honestly, I’m over that top and dome combo. For the same price, you could grab two cotton dresses at Macy's instead 🙂..
I just didn't catch which ones were actually on sale?!

What kind of dresses are we talking about here?

Got a photo?

Mine looks like this, just without those two glittery stripes (I grabbed a photo online since mine are in the wash)...

And the other one is like this, just a lighter shade of gray...

There are a few more models available in all sorts of colors... I love that they come in solid tones, since I can't stand anything flashy or multicolored...

Can't find any decent photos online 😢..
mine are just beach collections—basic cotton sleeveless ones, knee-length, perfect for the coast or just lounging at home. Great colors, too. 🙂

I hit up Macy's and found absolutely nothing.
Beach dresses and loungewear are sitting at $69.90—they have a few styles, sure, but none of it works for me. I actually spotted a similar cut over at Old Navy. Same price point, but honestly? The material is way thicker and higher quality, plus they come in solid colors.
Macy's also has these two other models for about $47 that look like some sort of linen-cotton blend. They’re sleeveless and don't look terrible, I guess, but it’s just too much cash for that kind of flimsy quality.
Checked out $10 as well—nothing there either. Not even a single clearance rack in sight.

Luck's just not on my side today.

Honestly, I can’t even remember the last time I actually treated myself to something nice. It’s like, either I absolutely hate the color, or the cut is totally weird, or—classic me—they don't even carry my size.

Yeah, but I actually have this one empire waist dress from Madewell. Picked it up at a clearance sale three years ago for basically pennies.
I was skeptical at first—honestly, I thought it would be a bust—but it turned out great and fits me perfectly. Plus, when I'm at the beach, I can wear it without a bra and it still holds everything in nicely.
Madewell usually has tons of stuff, and most of it isn't exactly cheap, but hey—that one dress made me give them another shot.

I picked this one up—I think it was $30 originally—but they might have marked it down again

Haven't even seen those two, though they look pretty hot

They might not even have them anymore—that was over a month ago.🤷
It’s a pretty dress, really, but it has this pointless little strap that ties in the back—honestly, I’ll just snip it off and wear it with a wide leather belt instead.
