There are various medications available. Over-the-counter options include Belodin for acute reactions and Rinolan, which works wonders for allergic rhinitis; I use it occasionally and my symptoms clear up within a few days. Naturally, I have to avoid dust, pets, and other irritants. There are also prescription drugs that, if taken consistently, can significantly alleviate or even eliminate symptoms.
Once you identify your specific allergens, the best course of action is to consult a physician who can help you select the most effective treatment plan.

I’ve been dealing with this "cold" for a month now, if you can even call it that.
My throat doesn't hurt, I don't have a fever, no headaches, and I don't feel sick per se 🤷 but I am going through tissues like they're going out of style. 🙄 My nose just won't stop running. 😢
On top of that, there's the coughing—mostly in the morning, pretty rare during the day. ☕

At this point, it feels like some weird version of a cold. 🤔

Maybe it's allergies, though my eyes aren't itchy or anything. 🤷

Or could it be sinus issues? 😕

Anyone have any idea what this might be? 😍

I'm seeing my doctor next week because this has officially crossed the line. 😬 Usually, I breeze through colds pretty quickly without needing much aspirin or a doctor's visit. 🙏

I think I remember seeing a segment on ABC News once where they mentioned this issue can actually be treated quite successfully with laser therapy—they were filming at a clinic in Chicago, if I recall correctly. Has anyone else heard about this? Any info or personal experiences would be really helpful!

There’s some info on the ragweed allergy thread mentioning Mayo Clinic ...

Well, let a doctor take a look first!

If you're dealing with a cold or just feeling run down, you might find some relief naturally with essential oils, steam inhalation, and herbal remedies, plus echinacea to give your immune system a boost.

As for allergies, check here.

Hey there. Here’s my situation...😢
About 2 or 3 months ago, I started getting these tiny white bumps on my stomach. My doctor put me on some allergy pills, but once I finished the course, nothing changed. 😢Then things escalated—the bumps turned into redness, dryness, and peeling skin, and it spread to my neck, groin, and inguinal area.😲
Blood work came back fine, but then I did a triple allergy test. The results showed sensitivities to ragweed pollen, latex, flour, potassium metabisulfite, citric acid, glutaraldehyde, and histamine.🤷
I'm wondering how to actually manage this—what should my diet look like? Has anyone else dealt with symptoms like this? 😕
Help me out here.
And yeah... I'm only 17.
Thanks in advance!! 🙂

I haven't seen any posts from Gregory Ramos8 yet. It seems like he’s been quiet lately. kaže:
Greetings! Well, here goes nothing... I suppose it’s finally time to share my story.😢
It’s been about two or three months now since I started noticing these tiny white bumps popping up all over my abdomen. I eventually went to see my doctor, and she prescribed me some allergy medication to clear things up. Well, I finished the entire course, and honestly? It didn't do a single thing to help. Not even a little bit. 😢Then, those little breakouts morphed into this intense redness, accompanied by extreme dryness and skin peeling. To make matters worse, the whole mess spread out across my neck and down into my groin and inguinal areas.😲
I recently went in for some blood work—which was perfectly routine, mind you—and decided to follow that up with a triple allergy panel just to be thorough. Well, the results came back, and it turns out my immune system is a bit more dramatic than I realized. Apparently, I’ve got sensitivities to ragweed pollen, latex, flour, potassium metabisulfite, citric acid, glutaraldehyde, and histamine. It certainly explains a few things!🤷
I find myself wondering about the best way to navigate this—what does an effective meal plan actually look like in practice? Has anyone else here dealt with symptoms that feel remarkably similar to what I’m experiencing right now? 😕
I need some assistance here! Please, if anyone can help, I would truly appreciate it.
I mean, let’s be real here... I’m only seventeen.
Thanks in advance! 🙂

I’ve started taking allergy medication again, which isn't exactly how I envisioned my week going. Honestly, if you want to survive this season, my best advice is to just stay indoors as much as possible when the sun is out and the wind starts picking up—especially during the morning hours. That's when the pollen count really hits its peak, and trust me, you don't want to be caught out in the elements when it's at its worst.
I’ve found myself checking my hair and my clothes much more frequently lately, mostly because everything seems to be catching dust and pollen like a magnet. It’s honestly becoming a bit of a constant chore.
You really have to be diligent about reading every single ingredient label and being extremely selective about which pizzas you order if you want to avoid those specific allergens. It can feel like a massive chore at first, I know, but honestly, just take it one step at a time. If you approach it slowly and stay consistent, you'll eventually find your rhythm and it won't feel nearly as overwhelming as it does right now. 🙂

Thanks... we’ll see how things play out once ragweed season kicks in. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about the sneezing fits, the constant runny nose, and—in the worst cases—that feeling like you can't catch your breath. We'll see...🤷

I’ve been dealing with spring allergies for 13 years now, so let me walk you through what my situation looks like... During those first couple of years, it was the usual stuff—runny nose, sneezing, eyes itching like crazy... Eventually, it would settle down, and the next year would follow the same pattern. I was young and reckless back then, so I didn't bother doing anything about it, but by the third year, things became absolutely unbearable, so I finally went to see a doctor. After running some tests, they found out I'm allergic to an endless amount of trees and flowers, basically everything under the sun. They prescribed me some meds (which I usually start taking right around the beginning of March), plus a nasal spray for the irritation and some eye drops... Everything worked fine until this year. Even though I'm taking everything, it feels like the allergens are hitting harder this time around; on top of all the typical irritation, I'm occasionally feeling completely wiped out and exhausted. Anyway, if the medications they give you aren't working, keep looking, keep fighting, keep bugging them... you have to find the specific thing that actually works for your body.

Sure, I appreciate the support, but... regarding this flour allergy of mine... am I seriously expected to just adapt to a life without bread, pastries, and all those other daily staples that rely on flour?? 🤷😢
I think giving up baked goods, bread, and cookies is going to be pretty rough... (I mean, really?? 😢)

Man... still nothing. Four months later and I’m still feeling just as crappy as when this started. :-(

Which specific flour triggers your allergy? Is it wheat? If that is the only issue, you can opt for cornmeal or rye bread instead.

I’ve been wrestling with allergies for quite some time now, and I suppose what I can say is that while medications certainly help, it feels just as vital to try and bolster your immune system before the season really hits full force—not that I’m saying I work on it constantly, but it's something to consider

Just search Google for "bioresonance." It is an incredibly effective method for treating various allergies.

Give homeopathy a shot. It’s actually done wonders for my pollen allergies. Constantly relying on antihistamines and all those heavy drugs isn't the answer. You really need to get to the root of the issue instead of just masking the symptoms, but that's a whole different conversation.

So, I’ve got these white bumps popping up on the inside of my elbow and they are itching like crazy... They start to dry out slowly, but the second I accidentally touch them, they just swell right back up, itch, and sting like hell..👎

Do you guys think this could be some kind of allergy?😢

I’ve been battling allergies for years now, and honestly, nothing works unless I take my pills twice a day; without them, I’m completely helpless. I went through the whole testing process, and it turns out I’m allergic to just about every plant and tree imaginable... plus, I have this solar allergy, which is a bit more complicated since there isn't exactly a magic pill for that. I try to stay indoors during that bright spring sunshine, supplement with beta-carotene, and slather on specialized creams, otherwise, I turn bright red and break out in itchy hives within five minutes of stepping outside.

You eventually learn to live with it, I suppose. The most important thing is simply following medical advice to keep the symptoms from spiraling out of control.

That said, I recently learned about allergen immunotherapy, so I'm planning to visit my doctor this fall to see what can be done about everything I react to.

On a side note, I’ve found that putting a few drops of lavender essential oil on my pillow before bed helps quite a bit.

Right, because water is definitely the cure, not antihistamines. Please—give me a break with this alternative medicine nonsense.

I wouldn't go so far as to call those ideas nonsense—not before seeing how little you actually know about homeopathy, especially since you seem to lump everything together as just "water." My own daughter was able to overcome her long-standing allergies thanks to a homeopathic remedy.
