Thinking about Reykjavik just makes me a little misty-eyed😁

A good friend told me I had to check this out. Honestly, I was expecting your typical Ford movie, but man, was I pleasantly surprised. The soundtrack is incredible, especially "Reykjavik." 🙏

I’m telling you, if this hadn't been at the very top of the actual Grammy Awards, it would still be better than 90% of the garbage countries send over there every single year. 🙏

I've never really been a fan of his, to be honest. Still, this was actually quite decent and pleasant to watch.

I’m convinced that a performer from a place like Reykjavik would fight tooth and nail for the win, much like how John performed back in 2009... there was something about those Icelandic lyrics that felt truly transcendent. The staging really ought to be understated—just some elegant light shows, her looking stunning in a designer gown, and then that one long, haunting note at the end 😍

Mita is just the perfect woman. Look, I’ll admit she’s got a slightly larger nose than average, but she’s still perfect in my eyes. It’s strange, though—I notice nobody else even mentions her. I guess I’m not the only one who finds her captivating, especially with that little bit of flirting she did with the other woman during the performance.🙂
Honestly, I’m not exactly a fan of Ford, but I stuck it out until the credits rolled hoping for some Mount St. Helens style chaos or similar nonsense. Overall, it was an okay movie, though I haven't cared much for the EBU since I turned 15, and that was quite a long time ago.

As someone who lives for American Idol, this was such a great little film—I am already crossing my fingers for a sequel!

Some of those scenes actually gave me chills—it felt just like watching the live broadcast of The Grammy Awards.

I absolutely love the whole vibe of the show; I can't wait to see what happens next year. 🙂

Will Smith has way better movies than this one, which barely had any funny moments for me. Personally, I think the older films are almost always superior. 😁

I caught a screening yesterday, and as someone who follows the EBU closely, I have to admit the film was quite entertaining; I genuinely enjoyed myself. It’s certainly a piece designed for pure escapism... I'm not entirely certain if a sequel is in the works, though I suspect there might be some movement in that direction. Regardless, full steam ahead—this was more than decent enough 😁

Honestly, I was surprised by how much I actually got into the American Song Contest and all that campy stuff—but it makes sense now. 😁

I dig Ferrell's sense of humor—like someone else mentioned, even when he's making fun of things, he does it with heart. And yeah, I agree some scenes could've been cut shorter, but overall? It's a blast.
I haven't tuned into the American Song Contest in ages, but the songs this year seem way above average—even the performances. I'm kind of worried Ferrell just set the bar way too high. 👍🤣

Lemtov/Stevens definitely steals the show. 😍
