wardancer, props to you 🙏
So, I’m looking at the West Side part of town and everyone’s leaving negative reviews. I guess I still have no idea who to go to 😢

But you really put in the effort though. 👍

Just a tiny heads-up, I think you listed Dr. Husar twice (same guy, obviously). But hey, extra points for him! 🙂

Ugh, I totally missed one of those cheapskates. Honestly, my brain just checked out near the end.😵 Go ahead and tally up the points for him.😬 I’d love to just keep editing this post, but it's impossible, and re-typing everything would be pure insanity. Let’s leave it as is for now, and we can run the stats again after the next 500 posts.🤣 I was actually thinking the same thing: if I had the cash, I’d hop on the first bus to see Dr. Harni. But realistically, I’ll call Dr. Wahid tomorrow to ask some questions. A friend told me he’s super kind and doesn't mind checking a textbook if he isn't 100% sure about something. I have to admit, reading through all these posts left me feeling pretty miserable and angry.😢 😠 It's because when you're laid out on an exam table, you can't really defend yourself against stupid, insulting comments, and you can't exactly walk away when you're in pain. And then you find some jerk who decides to mess with you when you're at your most vulnerable. You know what? Next time, just remember your foot is at his head level and give him a kick!🙂

Well, I can...

Just tell me right here or shoot me a DM with what you want changed (and please, don't make me sit here reading through a whole list of "improvements" I should have made already)

Dr. Marton ++ (Auntie)

You can give Marton a massive X from me right now.😁

She gave me a wrong diagnosis (for a tumor), traumatized me for life, and almost sent me into a completely useless surgery :2up: And all this happened when I was just 18 years old.🙄

I heard later on that she’s known more as a decent businesswoman than a competent gynecologist.

Maybe just steer clear of this incompetent woman entirely.🙏 🙏 😁

Jacob Castillo16 said:Quick question: has anyone here given birth at Mount Sinai? What was your experience like?
Too bad hospitals in NYC haven't moved on to water births or birthing stools yet—we’re still stuck with the classic routine.

Supposedly they’re going to bring it back because the equipment is just sitting there—it’s just that nobody actually knows how to use it.🙄

Has anyone here had a chance to try out Vlastelica over in San Diego?

Roughly how much does a checkup at Harney cost? Just a standard physical, blood work, urine test, all that kind of thing.

If you're talking about the PAP test, I remember it being right around $100
. And hey, don't expect a full blood panel from your OB-GYN unless they run a quick coagulation test first just to see if you can even handle being on birth control
.

Has anyone here actually used the VIROGENA clinic or seen Dr. Doric before?
I find myself scrolling through their website quite a bit—they have this really solid Q&A section
where the doctor answers all sorts of questions. Lately, though,
I’ve been pretty unhappy with my current gynecologist (private practice too), so I'm thinking about
booking an appointment and getting some tests done over there...
If anyone's been in, please let me know what the experience was like.

So, I noticed nobody's really talked about the Dr. Zora Profozić clinic on this sub yet—specifically regarding the gynecologist there, Dr. Dario Majnarić. Has anyone here actually gone to him or dealt with that clinic at all?
I was thinking about checking them out because they have their own in-house microbiology lab for stuff like swabs, Pap smears, and all that—which sounds super convenient, honestly. Just curious if anyone has any firsthand intel!

Saw Dr. Gudelj today. No waiting room drama—book whenever you want. Honestly though, the prices caught me off guard. Papa smear plus tests $117 (fine, whatever), but an ultrasound is $400, HPV testing is another $400, and Chlamydia is $500.
Anyway, I’m thinking about registering with a local clinic just to handle prescriptions and referrals. But nobody can tell me if I need proof of residency since I'm living in the city "temporarily" without being officially registered here. I've been digging online for an hour and found nothing. Called one office, then the community health center—nobody knows where to point me. If anyone actually knows, please help me out.
It’s pathetic that we have to hunt down basic information just to get standard care. Regular gynecological checkups should be considered fundamental healthcare for women.
My old doctor never got back to me, so now I'm stuck on this endless scavenger hunt.

I’m "temporarily" living in the city, but I haven't officially registered my address here. I've been scouring the internet for an hour trying to find an answer, but nothing. Even when I called, they just kept bouncing me around—telling me to call this clinic or that health center. If anyone knows the deal, please let me know.

I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think you'll need it.
I'm also "temporarily" staying in a different city without being officially registered, and I signed up with a primary care doctor without any issues, so I assume it shouldn't be an issue for a gynecologist either.
