😢

You probably need something stronger, and Ketoral isn't even that potent. 😢
I took some Voltaren Forte once—good grief, that stuff is intense. I took it at night and slept like a log until morning. 😂

Personally, I wouldn't settle for a situation like that, especially if someone didn't give me a straight answer about the organic cause.

😲 If I had to guess, you probably don't deal with much pain yourself.
It’s not as if women are somehow responsible for this. I've dealt with painful periods for as long as I can remember, and honestly, about 90% of my friends and coworkers feel the exact same way—those who don't are either incredibly lucky or they're on birth control. 😉

On the other hand, my mother never had these issues, yet here I am suffering through them without any clear reason why. There are some girls where there's a specific medical trigger, sure, but in most cases, there isn't—and doesn't even need to be—some sort of "organic cause." At least, based on my own experience, I've spent enough time in OB-GYN offices to have undergone pretty much every test imaginable.

So, those outdated theories about needing a specific "cause" mostly don't hold water.

HUGE edit: I just realized I replied to a post from the first page.😵 😬 😂

Anyway, I'm definitely part of the club that deals with painful periods and intense PMS; I become a completely different person😠, not to mention the physical toll it takes.
Sometimes M would find me in a total state—vomiting, needing injections, just being miserable, unable to move (and if I did try, I'd probably end up kicking someone in the face). I can be a complete wreck sometimes, almost like a walking case study.😍 😁

It’s funny how we refer to the Menzies as "things"🙂
Like it’s some kind of taboo.

Hey ladies! Honestly, I’m dealing with the exact same monthly nightmare as all of you, just a constant cycle of misery. It feels like every single pill I try, my body eventually just gets used to them and stops caring. But listen, my cousin visiting from Germany actually brought me some Dolormin for Women tablets, and oh my god, they are absolute lifesavers. The pain just vanishes, and they actually last for like 6 to 8 hours. I’ll just take one right when I roll out of bed and I'm pretty much good to go for the whole day. Also, Spasmex isn't half bad if you can find it.
I also swear by a little bit of natural stuff, like 🙂 chamomile tea—it doesn't totally kill the pain, but if you start sipping it a few days before things get messy, it definitely takes the edge off—and honestly, even old-school brandy compresses!

Well, I’ve taken it maybe a handful of times myself, though that first time certainly left an impression. Generally speaking, I try to avoid pills altogether—I have a pretty high pain tolerance, you know—especially when I don't strictly *have* to be productive. But since I was dealing with a particularly demanding job at the time, I didn't really have much of a choice. Honestly, it was wild; I felt like I was floating on clouds. It actually took me about half an hour just to cover a distance that usually takes me ten minutes tops. For the next few hours, I was just... slowed down, I guess. Completely spaced out and walking around with this permanent, druggy half-smile plastered on my face. If only I’d been allowed to just sleep through the shift, life would have been a whole lot easier.🙂

How many of those are you popping that you're actually worried about wrecking your stomach?

Can you buy Ketoral over the counter, or do you strictly need a doctor's prescription?🙂

It proceeds without a shred of a recipe, moving with a reckless, unguided momentum that defies all logic.

They wouldn't let me get it without a prescription last month, though they didn't even bother giving me a script at all. I've just been using Xanax

I simply cannot fathom why they denied you; it is utterly preposterous...

Man, the pain is absolutely killing me today.
It’s never been this intense before.
I’ve tried everything—stretching, putting my legs up against the wall, using a heating pad on my abdomen—you name it. Zero luck.
When my family asked how bad it was, I told them it feels like someone is slicing through my ovaries with a serrated knife.🤣
Jokes aside,😁
I took two Advil, but they didn't do a thing.
It still hurts sooooo much.
Ever since I started my period, about six and a half years ago, I deal with cramps every single month.🙄 In an entire year, maybe there are two months where I get a break.
Usually, Efferalgan effervescent works best for me; it seems to kick in faster than anything else.
But only if I take it the very second I feel the first twinge. Otherwise, nothing touches it. Maybe Voltaren Rapid if I'm lucky.
I'm going to try Ketoral, since it seems to be working for most people here.
Time to try some other tricks, because this is just too much.😢

You might want to give Baralgin a shot—I was dealing with some pretty intense pain this past weekend, and it actually helped me out.
It managed to take the edge off by at least 50%, I guess.

What else is left of him? If I recall our conversation on this thread correctly, we were discussing how withdrawn he’s become because his work turned out to be subpar. Or something along those lines.

As for me, I was totally useless with my cookie—I was throwing up... honestly, it felt like I was possessed by the devil itself.😁

So, here it is—the box says Baralgin M, but I can't quite tell if this is some kind of upgraded version or just a rebranding of 🤷
. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have even considered picking it up if my neighbor—who happens to be an incredible doctor, by the way—hadn't suggested it; she actually takes it herself.
I generally try my best to avoid popping pills whenever possible, but I guess this time, it actually did the trick. 🙂

Yes, it stands to reason that they simply pulled it from the shelves for a while only to reintroduce it now with a few modifications.

Well, I am genuinely glad to hear it worked for you; my own mother used to swear by it back when she was your age.🙂

I was taking Baralgin for a while and it helped, but you have to take it half an hour before the pain hits (and how am I supposed to know exactly when it’ll start 😁), like, before the uterine cramps actually kick in.
It doesn't help me at all anymore, so I started using Spasmex and it works wonders...

I tried taking Nalgesin earlier, but it didn't seem to do much for me. 🤷 Does anyone know which tablets are similar to Ketonal in terms of strength?

Ketonal and Lnavon share an identical chemical composition, yet I find it difficult to label them as mere duplicates, given that both medications possess quite formidable potency.

Knavon really wreaks havoc on my stomach 🙂
To be honest, even Advil isn't much gentler, but Knavon leaves me with heartburn all day long. I was popping it because I literally couldn't breathe from the pain after a muscle got stuck between my ribs 🙂
Oh well, I've still got a few weeks of leeway before the big party starts 🙂

As for me, Baralgin gave me such bad diarrhea🤦
I nearly died out West🙈 😂and I almost threw up at the end of it all.😳

And my mom actually recommended them to me since she said they worked for her.

Anyway, I just take Voltaren Rapid now.
