Ugh, she actually thought it was a brilliant idea to stop taking her birth control pills right in the middle of a cycle. I don't know how many days passed before these symptoms kicked in, all I know is she genuinely believed the pain was going to kill her—she even went panicking to her OB-GYN 🙄

I only missed my fourth day.

jadetinker85, you should definitely check in with the doctor about those calendar cases.

Seriously though—just stopping your pills on your own isn't safe. (It messes up your whole cycle, and then your body just loses the plot.)

jadetinker85 said:Has this ever happened to you guys? Like, you just completely blank on taking your pill for the day...

I haven't actually done this, but there was one time I accidentally took two pills in a single day. I took my pill like I usually do, went out on the town, came home late, and for some reason, I got it into my head that I’d totally missed my dose. So, I ended up taking another one about four hours later. Nothing major happened, really... just some cramping in my lower abdomen, kind of like those pre-period aches you get...
Actually, I wouldn't recommend it...

I’ve been on Ozempic for about a week now—nothing too bad so far. My appetite hasn't spiked, no water retention issues, and no headaches yet...

Same here.
The first few days were fine.
But today—the cramps are hitting harder. It's brutal.😢 If this keeps up for another seven days, I’m officially done with them—honestly.
I just can't deal with this anymore.
It's pretty depressing.
😢 And forget sex—not happening.
That's that.

I’m actually going to lose my mind...😠 It seems like mine are the only ones that didn't grow while on the medication (maybe because there’s barely anything left to grow, damn it...), goodness... maybe they'll finally show up when there are two of us instead of one...😢 😉

So, went to see my OBGYN about ten days ago. I asked about switching from Triquilar—which I’ve been on for a few years now—to Logest, but he was basically like, why bother? I guess he thinks since I'm doing fine on Triquilar, there's no real reason to switch. He told me not to change things up because he can't promise I'd actually like Logest any better, especially since some women can't even handle the pills I'm currently taking. Maybe he's right, though.

Seriously, life isn't fair.😠 You get plenty as it is—plus the meds help them grow... meanwhile, nothing for me.😠

😁 😁 😁

casualtinker14: actually, the doctor's right; if your current meds are working, don't mess with them; everyone reacts differently (yeah, Justin Gonzalez87's boobs are growing 😠 😉 while I'm seeing zero results 🙂 )

Is such extreme attention really necessary for a single cycle? Wouldn't the hormones just handle things on their own?
I know a woman who started her pills a day early—basically triggering an earlier cycle. She had been taking them for 21 days straight without any issues and was supposed to have a seven-day break, but she couldn't remember exactly when the new pack should start. She miscounted, so she just started a day ahead—and everything went fine.
The hormone levels are quite strong—and presumably, if someone misses a day, they just need to be careful during that specific window (maybe just for about seven days?). Since the hormone levels dip slightly during that break before spiking back up after seven days of continuous use, preventing pregnancy should still be effective.

Or am I totally off base?

You’re totally lost in the woods here, you gotta ride it out until the cycle finishes. My take on birth control pills: for the last two years I’ve been on Cilest, and yeah, my boobs definitely swelled up—they stayed like that for about a month before shrinking back down, though they're still a bit bigger than they were before I started... Right now I’m taking a break and they've gone right back to normal. Before that, I was on Diane for two years, and honestly, I didn't notice much difference between Cilest and Diane. Though, if I'm being real, I feel like I have a little more cellulite since switching to Cilest

Sean Grant85 said:Is that kind of sudden shift normal for just one cycle? Don't hormones usually do their own thing?
I know a woman who started her pills a day early—basically kicking off her cycle sooner. She’d been taking them for 21 days straight without an issue, then she was supposed to have a 7-day break. But she couldn't quite remember when the next pack was due, miscounted by a day, and just started early anyway. Everything turned out fine.
The hormone levels are pretty intense—I guess once you miss a day, you just have to be careful during that window (maybe just those first 7 days?). Since the hormone levels dip during the break, once you start the next pack after 7 days, they spike back up, which should handle the prevention part.

Or am I totally off base here?

Sean Grant85, please stop talking nonsense. It's not about what you're saying—which is mostly garbage anyway most of the time you're on this forum—but someone might actually take your crap seriously.🙄

As a direct result of your "successful" birth control method, you ended up with three kids you didn't want (and those were your own words).

Mine haven't grown for me at all! 😢I guess they only actually grow for people who already have plenty of them. So unfair! 😢

placidjackal97 said:Look, please stop acting out—it’s not that you're being particularly profound (you spend most of your time trolling this forum anyway), it’s just that someone might actually take your nonsense seriously if you don't shut it.🙄

So, as a side effect of your "successful" contraceptive method, you have three unwanted children—those were your words.

Three?! Where did I ever say I had three.

I only have two unwanted kids—they hold the biggest spots in my heart and basically fight each other for more real estate in there.

Yesterday, right as we were getting intimate, my wife mentioned she forgot her pill the night before and had to take it this morning—so, yeah, 😠 after reading all your "expert" advice and instructions, I had to play it safe and pull out this cycle.

Honestly, I think a vasectomy is probably the best option for me—rather than these hormones that supposedly mess with your wonderful female bodies!!!!!!

Honestly, it feels like everyone’s just talking out of their asses at this point. For what it's worth, mine are pretty small... can't exactly say I have too many, and they definitely don't grow from taking tablets.

I’ve just got two little ones—unwanted, sure—but they take up the biggest space in my heart, constantly fighting each other for more room.

Yesterday, right as we were getting intimate, my wife mentioned she totally forgot her pill last night and had to catch up this morning—so, yeah, 😠 reading through all your advice and "convincing," I guess I had to be extra careful about finishing outside this cycle.

Honestly, I think a vasectomy might be the best move for me—rather than messing with hormones that disrupt your wonderful female bodies altogether!!!!!!

What kind of opinion are you trying to push regarding the mother of your children? Honestly, I highly doubt the concept of "making love" even exists among you people.😉

Pills aren't exactly the perfect contraceptive for people who get forgetful.

Fortunately, there are plenty of other ways to handle things.

Justin Gonzalez87 said:Alright, time to get serious because I have a super serious question:
Will my boobs ever go back to normal?
When can I stop taking these pills?😎

Well, they usually shrink once you quit the meds. But why even worry? They’re huge regardless—just deal with it and stay happy. 😉 😁

By the way, from what I've read, you have a baby; if you're breastfeeding, that probably makes them bigger too... maybe?

P.S. Would mine grow if I just popped all 21 pills at once??? 😕 😁 😁 😁

Nope.

I tried that myself— 😉

Honestly, I swear by the method of daily breast massages from the opposite sex— 😎
