Honestly, even my cellulite has cleared up since I quit drinking. 🙏 😁

Honestly, my period is lasting way longer than usual lately, but hey, you can't win them all.😬

Well, there you go. At least I managed to be of some assistance to you. 😬

Trinovum hasn't let me down yet, and I trust they won't start now. 🙂

Before switching to Triquilar, I was on Yasmin for six months and those things absolutely wrecked my system. I stuck with Triquilar so everything could level out—realistically, I’ll probably hit the two-year mark on them. bluerider62 is planning to take a little breather now, maybe until New Year's, before having to head back to the gynecologist. After that, we'll see if I go back on them or try something more natural. ☕
Before starting the pill, my cycle was a disaster (I'd go three months without a period), but once I started them, everything became regular—almost to the day. Now I'm wondering, how long did it take for your periods to return after stopping?? I read somewhere that one girl didn't get hers for six months. 🤷

I simply wanted to share, in case anyone finds this relevant, that I transitioned off Yasmin and the transformation has been nothing short of remarkable.

Everyone’s experience will inevitably differ, and I certainly wouldn't suggest that these results are universal, as the medication suits some perfectly well; however, for me, it felt like a complete rebirth.

I hadn't previously considered myself to be suffering from significant side effects, until I realized my hormones were essentially in revolt due to the pill—manifesting as extreme mood swings, a diminished libido, irritability, persistent lethargy, and cellulite.

The moment I ceased taking them, every single one of those issues vanished, and I feel absolutely wonderful.🙂

Hey everyone, so... I've been on Yasmin for about a year now (plus another year before a break, and a year before that), mostly because of my acne.
My skin is doing okay—definitely better than before. Those massive breakouts have mostly cleared up, though I still get the occasional tiny pimple here and there. So, I wouldn't say my face is perfectly "clear," which is really what I'm aiming for with hormone therapy...

Now, my dermatologist mentioned that since my sex hormones are pretty out of whack, I should probably start taking Diane-35 too. So, I wanted to ask you guys—what’s your experience with those pills? And should I be worried about them being harsher on my system than Yasmin?

Second thing—it's been a while since I've had my liver enzymes or cholesterol checked... I'm planning to get bloodwork done soon, but I have this nagging feeling the results might not be great. Just wondering ahead of time—what's the move if my liver isn't looking healthy but I need to stay on birth control? (Besides just quitting, obviously).

Hey everyone. So, I started on Triquilar about a month ago. Everything seems fine so far—no major side effects, though my breasts have gotten a bit larger and more sensitive to the touch, but that’s pretty much it... My period has always been irregular, but this time it showed up on day 25. The issue is that it’s still just as heavy as before, and I’m dealing with occasional cramps. From what I’ve heard, birth control is supposed to make periods lighter and less painful? Maybe it’s just because my body hasn't adjusted yet since I'm only on my first pack... Will things eventually settle down?...

Honestly, that first box of Triqular was a total disaster for me... like a complete washout. But things totally leveled out by the next month and everything’s been awesome since! 🙂

I have a question, and I would truly appreciate some guidance from anyone who might be able to help.
I have been taking Diane 35 for about a year now, consistently at 10:00 PM every night. I am scheduled to travel to China in a few days, and there is a six-hour time difference compared to here in the States. How should I manage my dosage while traveling?

Take it easy... it usually takes about three months for the body to adjust to birth control pills. It will stabilize in time. 😬

If you had planned ahead, you could have adjusted them gradually. Perhaps you could shift the timing by an hour each day until you reach your destination?

I am clearly not the brightest bulb.

Questioning things here... I haven't really encountered this situation before, but there's clearly something even I don't quite grasp yet 😬

Basically, a girl was on Diane... and now her doctor has suggested she switch over to Yasmin. We head into the pharmacy, and this absolute nightmare of a woman 😬 refuses to fill it because the prescription doesn't match... apparently, she hands out Yasmin to all her friends without a script, but suddenly she's playing hardball with us. Just a frustrated woman who isn't allowed to work on Saturdays, making everyone else's life difficult...

So, since she can't pick up the Yasmin today, I’m wondering if it’s okay to start the Diane regimen immediately, and then maybe just swap over to the Yasmin tablets on Monday... does that actually matter? Please enlighten me with an answer... hoping for a quick one...

If she starts on Diane, she should just stick with it for the whole month. Those are totally different pills and I wouldn't dare mix them up...

I mean, why on earth would she mix them? Just deal with the risk for these next two days using a condom or whatever, and then starting Monday she can switch to the Yasmin properly.

Besides, you gotta take the pill from day one of your cycle if you want it to actually work immediately, so they aren't exactly candy, you know...

Dammit, she started her period today. That means she should be starting the pills now, and there's no way she's going to wait until Monday to begin if her cycle started today.

There’s nothing left to "power through," that isn't even the issue here...

Are you kidding me? Like she should just start popping them. You realize this is the first time she’s actually putting those damn hormones into her system...🙄

I heard those freaking Diane pills are absolute garbage, so I really wouldn't want her messing around with that hormonal trash...🤷

So here’s the deal
1. if you start on Yasmin today, you stick with Yasmin all month, then switch to Diane next month
2. if you don't start anything today, just wait until your next period starts and kick off with Yasmin then

And that's my whole expert philosophy right there!
