Topic of the day: Is there actually a pilot on board?

I was just sharing my thoughts on why women might look elsewhere for partners when there are plenty of great guys right here at home. I honestly have my doubts about whether their social norms and our way of life would truly mesh well together.
And besides, I mentioned before that Rome was one of my closest friends.
It really comes down to the fundamental differences in culture and how people live their lives on both sides of the ocean.
To be clear, I don't have anything against other races; I think my point was just misunderstood.

The quotes you're pulling out of thin air speak for themselves—all four of them. You constantly pivot to these trivialities every time you drop comments about homosexuals or abortion, and now this. If you claim to be a man of faith, shouldn't you carry yourself differently, rather than being such a narrow-minded person prone to hating anything you deem "not normal"? It’s honestly tragic.
And yeah, call me a drama queen if you want, because I always will be when things like this come up.

Look, I've had Romani people as my closest friends, so I have nothing but good things to say about them.
But I just can't wrap my head around why a girl would go looking for guys all the way over in Turkey or the Middle East; it just seems strange to me, is all.
Anyway, if I'm going to get banned for saying that, then fine, whatever.
Maybe it's better if I just stop commenting altogether and stay quiet.

It would be better if you realized that this style of communication is incredibly rude and actually legally unacceptable under the Penal Code of the United States, and you'd just decide never to use it again. 😉

Honestly, please don't—it’s actually quite awkward to read.

The show kicked off at 2:02 PM. Moody has posts timestamped at 1:48 PM and 2:02 PM; we aren't even looking at different pages here, but rather right at the very start of the broadcast. There is really no way she "didn't notice."

BTW, issuing a warning without deleting the content completely misses the entire point: the whole idea is to ensure that sentences like that simply don't occupy space in a public forum.

The chats aren't really moderated anyway. Things only get handled if someone actually reports them.

What's the point of deleting the original posts? You’re the one who highlighted the garbage in the first place. By dragging them out into the public eye, you just made them more visible. If we’re being consistent, we should start by nuking your post, along with everything else brought here. I doubt you'd be thrilled about that. They stay up because they show how this community reacts to spam and where we stand on it.

I honestly don't get why things aren't moderated if a moderator happens to be online at the moment or even just catches up on everything later on?
Of course, nobody can be hovering over the screen twenty-four seven, but surely someone eventually reads through it all. Shouldn't a decision be made even without an official report being filed? This was blatant hate speech, plain and simple, not some ambiguous comment where I'm left wondering if it actually warrants a penalty.
As far as reporting goes, there have been plenty of times when reports were submitted and yet nothing was sanctioned on the threads, which just makes you want to stop bothering with the report button altogether. In today's situation, I tried to point out how inappropriate the language was right there in the chat, but I didn't bother filing a formal report because, let's face it—the chat isn't moderated, and I know that firsthand since I've tried reporting things there before only to have nothing happen.
