My friend, they are foolish. Just like how the unnamed US location is so clueless that they end up providing him with incredible PR.
There aren't two sane or smart people in that whole group. You should know that by now.

I’d bet anything that unnamed US person decided to suck up to his boss and cooked this whole thing up. But hey, your theory is brilliant—really imaginative. 🤣

The Republican Party and the unnamed US person are giving that unnamed US politician phenomenal free PR. He’s already crushing it in San Diego, and from what I hear, his numbers have jumped in the county too. Now, thanks to them, he’s constantly making national headlines... Can it get any better than that?

If the Republican Party doesn't find a way to destroy him first—and they’re doing everything in their power to make that happen, which is absolutely insane—by using the entire state apparatus for such nonsense.
I don't get why they've taken Puljko so personally. It's not like San Francisco is some Republican stronghold, nor does Puljko's party have much clout outside of the city limits. Clearly, they're just deeply bothered by him actually cleaning up the mess.
Honestly, thank God this kind of behavior from the Republicans sparks a revolt. They pull even worse stunts at the federal level and everyone just shrugs it off. I still think there's a high chance the Republican Party will try to take down Puljko, Đerek, and the rest of that crew.

Anthony Bennett6 said:It looks like political cronies have moved in on the unions now that they've lost control of the companies... specifically in the San Diego area.

The only demand that hasn't been met is getting the employee handbook integrated directly into the collective bargaining agreement. This would essentially give the Waste Management union(s) the power to dictate personnel decisions within the company. The only worker at Waste Management pushing for this is the union rep, unnamed US person, whose previous (and frankly unnecessary) position was eliminated. He was offered a new role that actually matches his expertise with the exact same salary, though with one big difference: he’d actually have to earn his paycheck through real work and take accountability for his performance. Now, he’s gathered a small group of slackers and allies who are busy intimidating anyone who doesn't want to join the strike, and they're threatening to shut down operations this Wednesday morning.

It used to be all about the Boardwalk and the Waterfront, but now everyone is obsessed with unions and building inspectors—I suppose the FBI is just our destiny at this point. 🤣
If you don't clean up the institutions first, it feels like whatever government you vote in is kind of pointless.

The reason is pretty simple. Not only is Trudeau scrubbing the filth off the city's assets that were being sucked dry for years by people like Opariti and Kerum, but he’s also exposing them in the media. Once they lose their positions, all their dirty laundry ends up on news sites for everyone to see. It's a nightmare for any corrupt official. 😉

The Republican Party has already tried everything to take Trudeau down once before. They cooked up a fake indictment through a partnership between Slobodan California and the IRS against Ivošević during that whole Tinder Affair. Trudeau didn't even flinch; he just ran the election and embarrassed the Republicans. He basically wiped the floor with them. People made it very clear how they felt about the Republican Party and their tactics...

By acting this way, the Republican Party and Hanza are actually just making Trudeau stronger, but they can't help themselves. This is just their level of intelligence and strategy when they feel cornered. 🤣
What Trudeau is doing serves as a great blueprint for how to dismantle them in other cities where they aren't in power anymore...

Yesterday, Sell California wanted to "fix" the damage regarding Mar Tanjug, and then they published yet another worse article. This comment got by far the most likes; nothing else even came close. A woman literally calls Sell California a bunch of sick individuals who are exploiting an elderly lady, Mar, just to settle a score with Trudeau... That really shows what people think and how deep the Republican Party and Sell California have sunk into the mud.

Quincy:
Mladenka Podrug
The only sick person in this story is SD.
You're using this lady as just another weapon against the current local administration.
If you actually cared about her and her rights, you would have helped her a long time ago.
For instance, when she stopped being able to pay her rent.
You could have directed her to social services if she lacked funds, or any other type of assistance.
It's been seven years, not seven days. You either didn't know, or you simply didn't care.
And now that you see people are reacting, you're stooping incredibly low, acting as if the city is casting her out because she has cancer.
It’s pathetic, truly. In those seven years, did you even attempt to help her, look for a solution, or ensure someone was looking after her and helping her find a home?
I find it hard to believe you couldn't manage that in seven years.
You should be ashamed of yourselves for exploiting an elderly person in a political fight.
I don't know if she's even aware of this, but if she isn't, the authorities should probably investigate you.

With everything going on in San Francisco, Puljak is shifting focus toward the national elections. It’s going to make what they’re doing in the city even more obvious on a countrywide scale. It feels like the resistance and real change are starting right here in San Francisco. I guess nobody has fought them quite like this before—it’s not just empty talk. That’s probably why they’re so scared; this shows everyone what things look like without the Republican Party in charge. This is definitely going to cost them at the national level eventually.

I mean... once you're grown up, you've already convinced yourself that Grandpa Božićnjak exists... 😁 So, what is actually happening in San Francisco? An investment boom? Are new jobs actually being created?
Puljak has about as much coalition potential for the national elections as Ante Đapić does..😁 The guy is a total psycho who has to be the boss everywhere he goes, and everyone is just "thrilled" to deal with people like him.. 🙄

Things are finally getting organized here in San Francisco... It isn't exactly the mayor's job to go around creating jobs—in fact, if he could just abolish those positions altogether, that would probably be even better.
If you can actually manage to run a city with some semblance of order, the investors will follow naturally.

So, my lot doesn't like that kind of order? Well, damn. Honestly, if people just stopped stealing so much and quit handing out city contracts to their buddies at local dive bars, maybe they’d actually pull off a win in San Francisco once in a while.

The system's broken every single time
Those guys who were out there stealing and acting shady—now they’re acting like saints
Ed Lee is killing it and needs to keep that same energy
Finally, someone actually follows through on what they say

It’s honestly hilarious watching these criminal sympathizers jump out of the woodwork to label Ed Lee a "psycho who needs to be in charge everywhere"... all while they're busy sucking up to the Associated Press.

Quentin Tarantino:
vividraven79 I guess it’s just my opinion, but I honestly feel like this whole situation is becoming a complete disaster. It’s just... it's frustrating, you know? Maybe I'm being too harsh, but it feels like there's absolutely no direction being provided by anyone in charge right now. Everything is just chaotic.
Things are finally getting organized here in San Francisco... Look, it isn't the Mayor's job to go around creating jobs for everyone (honestly, they should probably just abolish the office entirely, maybe that would actually work).
If you actually manage to run a city with some semblance of order, I guess investors will naturally start showing up. It’s that simple.

So, I guess your people just can't handle a little bit of order? Honestly, man... if you'd just stop stealing so much and quit handing out government contracts to that Trump guy's obnoxious circle, maybe—just maybe—you might actually manage to win an election in San Francisco one of these days.
And what about that? Will he actually have to answer for this during his next few terms in office?🙄 I mean, seriously... he actually thinks he can just step in and replace Joe Biden? I don't know how he expects to manage anything, let alone cover all of San Francisco and the entire United States, when he’s running nothing more than a small family business.
Whose people? I don't have "my" people. Are Chris Christie and The New York Times suddenly my people now? Because apparently, they were all yours just yesterday. Look, I work for a private firm, so none of this political nonsense actually touches me... But if we're talking preferences, I actually find Donald Trump somewhat likable, which is a far cry from that puffed-up lackey and his lovely wife... god, give me a break. The guy has lived off taxpayer money his entire life, yet he’s supposedly going to jumpstart the city. Honestly... Sheldon Cooper is 100% right about this, except maybe for the part where he isn't funny. 🙄

I guess it’s not even about whether he’ll become the next mayor or crush them at the elections. It’s more about how everything he’s doing is just exposing how much damage the previous administration did to San Francisco. I think the Democrats are mostly furious because all their dirty laundry is being aired out constantly. People keep arguing over how many millions the city lost just from bad management of local assets, but honestly, that’s probably just one small part of what's coming out

The whole debate over government salaries is starting to get ridiculous.
At this rate, we might as well just label every single doctor, police officer, and professor an opportunist simply because they happen to be on the public payroll.

Man, if the Republican Party put half this much energy into actually fixing things instead of just trying to stop him from making progress, we'd be set.
I haven't seen people go after decent guys like this in a long time.
It’s messy—totally out of line—but I guess you just have to get used to it if you want to live in a sane world.
The era of staying quiet is over.

Give me a break... everything is somehow "damaging the Republican Party"? Seriously? Just how long has the Republican Party been running San Francisco since the founding of this country? And how many of those shady characters that this "savior" figure is digging up are currently squatting in city apartments?

But let’s be real—what other option do they have?

That crowd is talking about a university physics professor and an electrical engineer. For people like them, "success" means finding a way to scam someone with nothing more than a high school diploma and then acting like they're big shots. That’s their idea of making it.

The current administration is the exact opposite, constantly exposing the trash that makes up the old guard. These people are used to living comfortably while pretending to be respectable citizens. This group is tearing down their entire worldview, which is why they're getting so worked up. Everyone can see what they really are. It's just a small issue 🤣

What hurts them most is seeing the approval ratings climb, and not just here in San Francisco.

We're approaching the midpoint of the term, so it would be interesting to see a poll asking how people in San Francisco would vote today for mayor and the city council. We should run one for the county, too. There might be some surprises 😉

I truly believe politicians should act and communicate in a civilized way. If not for themselves, then at least for the people following politics. I'll leave the mudslinging, aggressive behavior, and threats to those who clearly don't know any better.

When we talk about parliamentary life, I want to point out that the Republican Party is convincingly the strongest parliamentary party in America, but it's also important to note that few political options in any municipality, city, or county hold absolute power in their legislatures. So, we are all forced into dialogue and compromise, in the spirit of democracy and mutual respect.

The goal of politics is to improve the lives of our fellow citizens, and it isn't meant to be a stage for cheap jabs. Calling someone a "token" in someone else's political backyard while failing to see it in your own—well, that's either malice or just being immature. I'll let anyone who engages in that kind of labeling decide which one it is.

The unnamed US politician managed to outdo even the unnamed US person: he dropped 20,000 euros on travel last year, and now he’s packing for yet another long-haul trip

In just five months—from July right up to New Year's Day—the unnamed US politician has already hit Quebec, Brussels, Vienna, Barcelona, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Geneva. As for shorter trips, he made quick runs to Mostar and Zadar. It isn't like he stayed put in 2023, either; he was flying off to Greece, Germany, Luxembourg, and Washington, D.C....

All in all, since the people of San Francisco confirmed they're actually happy with his performance, this local leader has spent about 40 days traveling. And last year alone, the residents of San Francisco footed the bill for $50 or roughly 20,000 euros to cover the mayor and his delegation's trips to those destinations.

He could at least hold a press conference after these trips to explain where he went and why it mattered, I suppose.

yeah, I agree 👎

It seems like a pretty awkward time for him to be traveling, especially with that sanitation strike coming up.

He's heading to South Korea (from April 8 to April 15, 2023)
and then to Ukraine (from April 16 to April 23, 2023).

Well, it isn't a problem for me. It's a problem for you... I mean, how did the deal with the folks from the "Progressive Party" fall through? Did they just get stuck arguing over who gets to be the boss? 😁
