At this rate, we might as well just label every single doctor, police officer, and professor an opportunist simply because they happen to be on the public payroll.

Oh right... I guess all those political hacks are only located out in the Midwest. And specifically the ones who didn't get a blessing from the almighty Ivica Puljak.. 😁

The absolute worst are the ones who go out and grab an economics PhD from a school like Indiana University just to bump up their pay grade in the federal government. You see plenty of them in San Francisco—you can practically tell where they came from.🤣
But let's be honest, a doctorate from Paris or Indianapolis carries about the same weight in the real world.👍

Central Park Conservancy exposes five illegal greenhouse sites and calls out the inspectors: They've occupied 2,000 square feet

These greenhouses cover over 2,000 square feet—totally wrecking the land for unauthorized use—and they're sitting right in an area where greenhouses are strictly banned.

So, why isn't the building inspectorate actually following through on the removal order? It’s been legally binding for over six years now after the appeals process ended.

Don't sweat it—the inspectors aren't gonna show up for this one.
They just set up those greenhouses and nobody's doing a damn thing.
Is that inspection crew actually scared? Looks like they just want to take down Eric Adams.
You thugs.

It’s not an issue for me either. In my view, Ivica Puljak needs to prove himself by serving at least two terms in San Francisco first. Unfortunately, the opposition at the federal level just isn't strong enough to pose a real threat to the criminal establishment. There’s far too much fragmentation and ego involved; they simply won't reach an agreement, and I'm fully aware of that reality.

The Democratic Party is a mess, and even the centrists are way too weak... meanwhile, the corrupt crowd has a base that ensures they'll always win.

vividraven79 I guess it’s just my opinion, but I honestly feel like this whole situation is becoming a complete disaster. It’s just... it's frustrating, you know? Maybe I'm being too harsh, but it feels like there's absolutely no direction being provided by anyone in charge right now. Everything is just chaotic.
Things are finally getting organized here in San Francisco... Look, it isn't the Mayor's job to go around creating jobs for everyone (honestly, they should probably just abolish the office entirely, maybe that would actually work).
If you actually manage to run a city with some semblance of order, I guess investors will naturally start showing up. It’s that simple.

So, I guess your people just can't handle a little bit of order? Honestly, man... if you'd just stop stealing so much and quit handing out government contracts to that Trump guy's obnoxious circle, maybe—just maybe—you might actually manage to win an election in San Francisco one of these days.
And what about that? Will he actually have to answer for this during his next few terms in office?🙄 I mean, seriously... he actually thinks he can just step in and replace Joe Biden? I don't know how he expects to manage anything, let alone cover all of San Francisco and the entire United States, when he’s running nothing more than a small family business.
Whose people? I don't have "my" people. Are Chris Christie and The New York Times suddenly my people now? Because apparently, they were all yours just yesterday. Look, I work for a private firm, so none of this political nonsense actually touches me... But if we're talking preferences, I actually find Donald Trump somewhat likable, which is a far cry from that puffed-up lackey and his lovely wife... god, give me a break. The guy has lived off taxpayer money his entire life, yet he’s supposedly going to jumpstart the city. Honestly... Sheldon Cooper is 100% right about this, except maybe for the part where he isn't funny. 🙄

Sure, war profiteering is always more appealing than a steady government salary. That should be our role model, right? Privatizing assets during wartime just to line the pockets of a chosen political inner circle—now that's what I call peak patriotism. Truly heartwarming stuff.

Look, I don't mean he's a saint, but at least he's more likable than that annoying bozon guy... though I guess that's a low bar. Anyway, do you actually have any proof regarding this war profiteering, or are you just blathering away without consequence like you always do?
I see now that Todorić is your new hero, and everyone is crying about how his poor company was snatched away from him. So, I'm genuinely curious—in your eyes, is he also a war profiteer? And if Kerumov’s lawyer decided to haul you into court over these claims, I bet you'd be whimpering that you didn't mean it...🙄 Fortunately, our Kero isn't some total fraud, so you feel safe enough to take advantage of that fact and just talk nonsense.

Two terms? 🙄 Is that how long he needs just to get an ego? And besides, isn't this his first term already? 😁

In my book, anyone who lined their pockets during the war while others were out there bleeding for this country is a war profiteer. And what makes it worse is that these profiteers never saw a day of combat, yet they act like big-shot patriots.
We're talking about all sorts of characters like Kerum or Vidos...

I’ve noticed a few times now that Republicans are busy blaming Ivica Todorić for being their own biggest failure.

First off, I have no idea who this "they" or "we" refers to... but it’s just typical Republican logic. It’s an us-versus-them mentality; if you aren't one of them, you're automatically the enemy.

Honestly, Ivica Todorić is just another product of your own making who finally decided to break free from the leash. You guys crushed him until he finally started biting back.

Eto, back in North Port, the Mikulić inspectors showed up and everything was spotless. Zero issues.🤣

The main thing is that Shut and his crew protested hardagainst poisoning the citizens. Maybe if Shut would just call out his guy Mikulić instead of pretending to care, we'd see some actual results.

When the Mikulić inspectors need to clear illegal greenhouses from Marjan—they're nowhere to be found. When they need to stop people in San Francisco from being poisoned—nothing. But when it comes to finding a reason to go after Puljko? Suddenly they're all over it!

PORT AUTHORITY DIRECTOR: The inspection found no irregularities.

On March 27, 2023, the EPA , following media reports regarding dust emissions from slag stored at the North Port in San Francisco, conducted an unannounced inspection. During this process, they found that the Port Authority is taking extensive measures and showing maximum commitment toward reducing dust emissions in the port area and mitigating their environmental impact, according to statements from the Port Authority.

‘Sanitation Department workers have the highest salaries among all municipal employees in America, and here is the full list of newly approved benefits‘

As soon as the Sanitation Department workers announced they were going on strike starting tomorrow, San Francisco Mayor Ivica Puljak called a press conference to address the situation. Journalists were handed a table detailing the workers' demands alongside a list of what was conceded during negotiations between the company management, the City, and the unions preceding the strike.

At first glance, I suppose the Sanitation Department staff already enjoy rights and wages that many people can only dream of, but I guess it is their right to ask for more. And they will, quite obviously, exercise that right by striking.

- Workers at the "Sanitation Department – San Francisco" agency earn higher wages than any other municipal utility worker in America, and they already benefit from solid conditions under their current collective bargaining agreement. Those conditions are set to improve, and pay will increase. During negotiations with the unions, management accepted practically 90% of the demands, which preserves all existing rights while increasing base pay by 6%, plus an additional permanent monthly stipend of $111. On average, this works out to a monthly pay increase of about $333, along with improved existing benefits. The following table outlines the workers' specific demands versus the management's offer, including comments—which you can find in the memo.

Well, from my perspective—since I actually spent those years crawling through muddy trenches—true war profiteers are also the ones who avoided service when they could have stepped up. They were young, healthy, and capable back then... Take our Mayor, for example. But hey... I guess that’s just how life works.

And don't even get me started—I actually heard our supposedly "distinguished" national party chairman claiming that his company was stolen from him. Or maybe I just need to go wash my ears out with soap? 😁

The Democratic Party is garbage, which actually gives a real shot to the smaller progressive movements if they can just step up and replace them collectively.

The Democratic Party is simply incapable of modernizing itself.

Oof, if we're going by your logic, then Joe Biden, Pete Hegseth, Xavier Becerra, Donald Trump, Elizabeth Warren, Ed Rendell, and Donald Trump all fit the bill too... feel free to keep that list going.😁

Because clearly, our brilliant President never talks nonsense, right?

EDIT: and let's be clear... the fact remains that he lost his company. But honestly, it doesn't even matter here. It’s not like I feel bad for him; the Republican Party brought him in, and the Republican Party will take him out.

I suppose I should probably mention that water strider. It’s just... well, it's one of those things, isn't it? Just sitting there on the surface. I guess you could say it's fascinating, if you're into that sort of thing, but honestly, it's just a bug. A tiny, insignificant little bug skittering around on top of the water. It's almost absurd how it manages to stay afloat, isn't it? Some kind of surface tension trickery, I assume. But really, what's the point? It just exists. It just moves. It doesn't accomplish anything. It's just... there. Moving. Skittering. Whatever. It's just a water strider. amberjackal68 says:
Ugh, if you ask me, you might as well just start listing them all: Joe Biden, Lloyd Austin, Xavier Becerra, Donald Trump, Elizabeth Warren, Ed Rendell, even Donald Trump himself... honestly, you could probably go on forever.😁

I don't know the full life story of every single one of them, but I honestly couldn't agree more with that. As far as I'm aware, both Joe Biden and Donald Trump served in some kind of government capacity over in Brussels. I only know for sure about Ed Rendell—he basically bolted for Italy—but then again, he was sending money to his mistress, so I suppose I can let him off the hook. 😁 Donald Trump was hanging around the whole time, so I guess he probably wasn't exactly a top priority for a military advisor... maybe. 😁 Come on, don't play dumb... I've already laid out my position and made it perfectly clear where I stand.😁

Alright, let me turn this back on you... when you were out there in the trenches, fighting for the soul of this country, did you ever imagine it would end up looking like this? Is this really the America you bled for? An America where a privileged class of crooks has been screwing us over for thirty years?

Dana Martin95 said:yeah, I agree 👎

It seems like a pretty awkward time for him to be traveling, especially with that sanitation strike coming up.

He's heading to South Korea (from April 8 to April 15, 2023)
and then to Ukraine (from April 16 to April 23, 2023).

Honestly, it's just stupid to call all these press conferences and waste everyone's time.

The itinerary and the meeting details are already out there—we know where he's going and what's being discussed:

As for the strike, everything's already been hashed out. The Mayor has staff for that—people who actually handle these things,
especially since the workers have already made up their minds to walk out and there isn't much left to negotiate... They granted 9 out of 10 demands, but even that feels like a letdown.

Maybe it would be better if they just updated citizens once they get back, letting them know how things went, if any deals actually happened, and what kind of benefits San Francisco might see from it all.🕺
