Zachary Anderson20 said:What "drama"? We aren't even talking about drama here—we're talking about the random people Pcelica stepped on (look, I'll admit I'm being bipolar and cheering when she gets aggressive), but damn it, some of these people actually have enough ground to take this to court. I'm not going to list specific cases right now; if this all goes public, I'll comment then. And what about Leona? She’s in Greece right now, and before that, she was somewhere else too. Or is the destination the other way around? Hold on, let me post a photo. Here: https://postimg.cc/MM6VVBKC Now you try explaining to me what exactly is "transparent" about any of this compared to the mess with Kerum/Democratic Party/Republican Party? It’s all poorly written, and nobody explains what kind of hellish "technical documentation development" they’re even doing! What is that? For what? And as for the staff's education, it's barely worth mentioning because the whole thing looks disgusting. Secondly, what is she actually learning, and how is that supposed to benefit us? Obviously, we have a right to know, and a truly transparent and symmetrical renaissance would provide those answers. But no, everything is just half-assed.

Now, please don't kill me 😁, but I find it absolutely fascinating how quickly this information starts circulating—who is yelling at whom, who slipped into whose office... Their secretaries certainly know how to keep things moving, I'll give them that.

I am in total agreement with you regarding transparency. ☕

Let Maya lie through her teeth if she wants. In a civilized country, you wouldn't have the Secretary and the President defaming someone like this. It was pretty blatant how they publicly accused her of being a self-promoter instead of a whistleblower. Pathetic and transparent.
And look at you, doing the exact same thing right now 😉

Oh, really? I am? Oh yeah? Where exactly? Where did I ever say the woman isn't a whistleblower or even comment on her Sabo/Federal Housing Administration situation? Or the whole mess with the President, or that joke of a guy Adams? You're lost, buddy—I can help you find your way, but you're going nowhere. I focus on what she does in San Francisco. And obviously, she has the right to political self-promotion since she chose this job. What pisses me off is when she makes snap decisions without thinking, or keeps messing around with nonsense just to lecture everyone from her high horse. Basically, when that self-promotion goes too far and when, clearly (like Bo), she has to listen and pick and choose who to follow. So, if you actually have the brainpower, do me a favor: stop coming at me with these fake accusations and half-baked analyses. Make a real argument for your case first, then maybe we can talk. Capiche?

Look, let me tell you what Angela from the Market told me. Get this. Derek went to grab his cut from little Mike's deal out in Sombor. Mike lost his cool because Derek was expecting a 20% commission, but Mike had already taken some foreign currency and only offered 10%. Derek started crying and ran to see Jerry Brown, complaining that Mike was trying to screw her over with bad currency and a lower rate, so Jerry wouldn't authorize the payment. Jerry blew a fuse and called Bob. Derek was weeping like it was a rainy season, and Bob was sweating bullets because he didn't have the funds ready for Jerry. Right then, Bob's brother shows up from Sombor with the full 20% commission in crisp, fresh bills. Exactly how Jerry likes it. They all headed out to a local pub for some live music and drinks to celebrate a great start to the year. Later, Bob's old man showed up with a shovel and, in the spirit of "good business," fired off a few shots. Now the old man has enough to pay off his city apartment via a loan, so everyone's happy.

There, it's all ready for print. Just tell them it's from a reliable anonymous source. 🍿

To your disappointment, I am not Mary B. Just because I asked a few questions about something multiple people have brought up in this thread doesn't mean I'm playing for the Republican Party. If anything, I tend to side with Maya and her crew, but that shouldn't stop me from asking questions, right?

Alright, here’s a little bit of inside info on why the fish market renovation hasn't kicked off yet—even though it absolutely should have by now. Turns out, the conservatives are playing games and trying to act like they know better. If you want the full scoop, go ahead and dig deeper. And hey, our "good and honest" friend Buzancic ❤️ is doing great, isn't he? At least Laura stuck it to them and fed her party buddies. Long live the rebels!

Relax, a little bit of San Francisco sarcasm won't kill anyone.

But keep spreading the word; it's not a bad story. The bottom-feeders will shrink when they hear it. 😉

The title for this true anonymous tale for the local news: Mike and the endless greed.

Zachary Anderson20 said:Oh Mike, I love it when you get romantic. Especially when you try to analyze me—my god, I don't even know where you pull these conclusions from. It feels like you're just putting words in my mouth. And seriously, chill out with calling women names all the time. Once is fine, but after that, it's just tacky. Jerry Brown isn't going to like that. First off, regarding this recent thing, Pcelica mainly clashed with a reporter, which then forced editor Lemo's hand (though isn't she a Republican too?) apparently because the woman had a death in the family. And then they just kept bickering. Okay, now tell me exactly where journalists are pumping out fake news about Derek. From what I know about journalism, when a reporter puts their actual name on a piece, they are obligated to present facts and label them correctly; their personal take on a situation is precisely that—an opinion. So, I'm curious: what exactly was "fake," and if it actually was, why wasn't there a public apology? Just because some reporters don't like Derek doesn't mean they can't have an opinion. They signed their names, and we can choose to believe them or not. As for the whining that it only seems to bother me when the current administration is involved—no shit, Sherlock?! 🤣 Who else am I supposed to comment on if not the ones holding almost absolute power? Even if others come in, God willing, they'll be under the microscope too.

I disagree. Almost all media outlets have that "groupie" phase. For instance, on Index or Telegram, you won't find a single critique of Jerry Brown, even if he (presumably) decides to perform a ritual in the middle of the Waterfront. During the recent madness, I checked out those outlets like Daily or 7something—those are just the jokes run by Bujanac—and those local media types operate differently. They have that right. But I haven't seen anyone smear Pcelica in the actual news stories (not counting Tom's or Pervan's columns) with Maya. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Give me a break, as if the editor is the one spinning your narrative. 😁
Go grab your glasses and actually read the headlines about who that mogul reported. I'll buy you a new pair if you lost yours.
MAYA HAS 'CROSSED THE LINE' Reports the editor-in-chief of the San Francisco Daily to the Press Councilon behalf of the local media association.
So, what, journalists have zero oversight? They can write whatever they want, make up stories like they're in some lawless wasteland, and she just doesn't care if you believe them or not? 🤣 Do you even read this nonsense you're spewing? 🙏

The editor isn't with the Republican Party, where on earth did you get that fake news? That would be impossible...

Velvet, seriously, don't get worked up on me. Please. Let's take baby steps here. Look, Mary, all this jumping around trying to pin me to the Republican Party, then to certain pundits, then back to Lemo... it's honestly tragicomic. Come on, man, go find someone real to catch in a lie, and then we can all celebrate. Seriously, explain to me how journalists have nobody to hold them accountable? Journalists get sued every single day and win or lose those cases. They have the Press Council and other oversight bodies for a reason. Sure, anyone can write whatever they want. You're posting junk here constantly, and half of it would be grounds for a lawsuit if this weren't an anonymous forum. It's the same for journalists; even I could post something on Facebook under my real name and get sued. For journalists, it's their profession, and they really shouldn't be acting like idiots by intentionally walking into lawsuits just to lose them. Maya didn't file a lawsuit against the editor and the reporter herself—if she'd remember to tell us why, that is. Plus, Maya writes on her famous Facebook page about which articles pissed her off and who signed them. Lemo is the editor-in-chief, so she's the one who has to defend her reputation. We'll just have to see if this whole mess was worth it. In the end, there wasn't any lying or defamation, otherwise Maya would've sued immediately. The fact that you love blindly worshipping everything so much actually worries me a little 🤣 because not everything said by the "Golden Girl" is 100% truth, and as for those other reporters, I don't know, but people like Tomic and Pervan wrote critical pieces about her, and hey, they have every right to. It's called a column. We live in a democracy, for crying out loud. I truly hope she manages to keep everything running perfectly during her term, because I actually want to enjoy living in this city. But what she's shown a few times now is, oh well, some serious selectivity in her decision-making.

It looks like you're obsessed with seeing those "Sellout" signs all over Megatroll 🤣
Fresh out of the oven...

https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=...15365193952802

I wonder what drives someone like Tomić or that unstable guy Prvan to call a woman a chicken or even compare her to Adolf Hitler, especially when she’s just doing her job with massive public support 🤔 If they weren't protecting their own interests, it wouldn't be such an obvious partisan stronghold for the Republican Party. You have to ask yourself where people like Prkić from exPametno fit into that ecosystem. It's worth thinking about.

And look at how everyone is ganging up on Maya. All these groups have united, yet Maya and the local leadership are effectively brushing them off.

For someone as "righteous" as you, it seems fine to attack journalists simply for being critical of big business interests down South. Give me a break...
Yeah, involving Davor Bernardić Matijević was definitely part of it. 😉

Man, you really know how to get under my skin. 🙏 Listen, Megatroll is literally paid to churn out these kinds of articles and manipulate the masses. I could play around with Milan Kundera’s ideas and say 'Megatroll is the opium of the people' (I know killing Karl Marx is the classic move, but I prefer Kundera). Besides, what exactly is the lie in these headlines? Is it the price of her work—which is actually accurate? Or is it a personal statement regarding manipulation that she has every right to officially respond to and explain her side of the story (instead of just posting random Facebook statuses every five minutes 🙂)? Come on! In that headline about the official entity, it's actually just a quote from someone mentioned in the text, and it's obvious that Maya has every right to issue a formal denial through Public Relations or one of those many PR Centers. She's acting like a lady, not some Facebook troll. What? You don't like the tone or the word choice? Grow up, man, along with all these ego-trippers. It's honestly amazing how people just swallow everything whole without having any clue what Maya actually does—all the good stuff she's achieved, and even the spots where she tripped up. People just shout about "driving out the riff-raff" and other brainwashed slogans. Maybe PR is the new opium for the masses now 🤣. And yeah, I get it, you lean toward conspiracy theories where your heroes are always these poor little victims and everyone else is the villain. You're so deep into that you can't even see straight, so there's no point trying to convince you. But hey, enlighten us—where exactly is this exPametno nest located? You're just talking nonsense, though I appreciate it because I could use a good laugh, since there are some great people and activists in that group. Oh, so now I'm Democratic Party? Fine, whatever. Just please, don't bring up the Spider again; I haven't got the stomach for the DP today.

BUDISA ON THE LOCAL MARKET AND FISH MARKET: Something smells fishy here. What does Maya have to say?

Wait, is that the same Oparin hack, Krešo Budiša? The one who acts like a big-shot entrepreneur just like that squatter Budimir? He actually pulled in 25,000 bucks acting as an Oparin consultant and serving as Ljutićev’s little errand boy over at the University of Bušta. 🙏

Everything Krešimir Budiša touches seems to turn to gold—it looks like he’s pulling strings from both the Province and the University of Bušta. $8.75It’s looking like more than just a coincidence regarding the Mayor. He’s out there smiling while his business interests on Marjan are thriving—is this really just a random stroke of luck, or are we looking at a blatant conflict of interest?

God help me from these Republican visionaries. You’ve got thirty-year-olds who can barely hold it together, let alone manage a budget, yet they act like they have all the answers. 🤣

And there you go—17 likes already. comment From that little squatter Budimir, who says...

Here’s an example of something I just read that is completely out of line. Some fat—pardon me, some twelfth-rate journalist on Facebook (don't get mad at him <3)—is claiming that a reporter (he didn't name names, but we all know he's talking about Ivica Markovica from the local paper) wrote an obituary for Buljubasic (locals know exactly who that guy was). To make matters worse, the writer concluded by saying that a company under Buljin Ownership sued Bojan. I went to find the article, but it’s already gone. I mean, an obituary is meant for a first grader, but I refuse to believe that fat guy is lying; it’s just bottom-of-the-barrel journalism from the local rags. Look, I know I love to trash them too, but this story isn't even relevant to our local politics—it just shows how quickly people (and journalists included) jump to conclusions.

And honestly, there’s no denying that Budisa is our shining star. If I remember right, we’re around the same age, but since he’s clearly the smart one, he knows exactly which party to pick, while I was busy fighting with them 🤣 regardless. Still, you have to point out that most of the projects Puljak loves to brag about were actually started by Budisa and Oparin. Like this recent Smart City stuff and the digitalization push. It’s honestly hilarious watching peacock Puljak strutting around, repeating his "it's either the Republican Party or America" line, when most of his projects are actually the leftovers from those same Republicans. Seriously, where is the shame? Anyway, I’m not even defending Budimir here—I find that "Daddy made it, so everyone else should too" mindset fascinating—and hey, they *did* build things once. But we’ve had new laws and regulations for a long damn time now, and people are unrealistically ignoring them (looking at you, Budimir). Plus, watching our talented, versatile, and brilliant Budisa glide his way to success makes it hard not to compare him to today's news, where a party Vice President who swears on her honesty somehow transforms into a supposedly "experienced" PR specialist and breezes into a new job without breaking a sweat. Where have we seen this pattern before? 🤣 And hey, if I watch my hairdresser highlight my hair for decades, maybe I can call myself a hairstylist tomorrow, right? 🙄

A little life philosophy from a legendary squatter. You really need to watch this; it’s a total game-changer.

They actually had to add subtitles because his genius-level insights are just so hard to follow. Such vocabulary, such eloquence, such sheer elegance.

You can find this guru hanging out near Firule Hospital, over at 4C Wild Construction Street.
Feel free to pick his brain about anything in life, just don't ask him about building permits. Some Republican snitched on him, so he's a bit high-strung about that stuff. Plus, he's still waiting on a government job opening. Life's a struggle...

Maja hit the nail on the head here
strictly by the book

FISH MARKET LEASE UPDATE: Restaurant Noštrom gets the green light until July, then a public tender kicks off!

Maja Đerek, the head of the Department of City Property, jumped on this fast

- I actually found out about the whole situation regarding the restaurant Noštrom using the Fish Market space for their festival through the media—specifically via the Dalmatian Portal. Even though the Fish Market belongs to the City of San Francisco, it isn't managed by my department, the Department of City Property, but rather by Parks and Recreation. That said, since it’s technically City of San Francisco property, the Commercial Lease and Sale Law still applies,
She reached out to Director Gašparević just yesterday, making it clear that per the law, they can only use that space for a maximum of 30 days without a public tender—which covers them for the current festival setup.

But, as she points out, if they want to stay longer than 30 days, the law says they have to run a public tender.

- Director Gašparević was totally on board with the legal solution and immediately instructed the legal team at Parks and Recreation—who are the ones actually in charge here—to get moving. As of this morning, consent has been given to restaurant Noštrom to use the space for just 30 days, strictly following the law, and a public tender will be announced shortly—
The department head already has a fix for these kinds of situations ready to go.

- Moving forward, we'll handle these issues with a new Lease Decision drafted by the Department of City Property. It already went through a 30-day e-consultation period and will soon head to the City Council as a special case under the Commercial Lease and Sale Law,
In that proposal, she insisted that all city agencies managing properties owned by the City of San Francisco must first submit any lease terms or tender texts to the Department of City Property for review.

- This ensures maximum transparency whenever city agencies are handling property, making sure everything is treated fairly across the board,
She wrapped things up by thanking the responsible citizens and journalists for flagging the issue, and encouraged anyone seeing similar stuff to reach out directly to her department.

Zachary Anderson20 said:Thanks a lot, Milena B. But in typical PR-spin fashion, you tried to sneak some subtle determinants into your quasi-linear logic. Let me break it down: I’m a private citizen. When I felt like rambling on Facebook—and only when I felt like it—I did so as a resident of this city. I’ve never held a public office, so I don't represent anyone. On the flip side, I wasn't writing a literary thesis on my personal feelings about fake competitions; I was pointing out things that were already public knowledge and asking people if it was even worth it. Now, Derek is a public official. As such, she’s supposed to act professionally, and communicating with the press is literally part of her job. For any civilized person, that happens through the official channels in the Midwest, via the media. Sure, Derek has every right to post on Facebook, but when those posts become a tool to settle scores with journalists—and again, describing her work publicly is part of her role—then it becomes a bad caricature, Milena. Also, instead of bothering to provide a little explanation about those "partially halted competitions" or maybe commenting on the situation with Peskorija, Derek decided to mock reporters on Facebook just to make that the headline and shift focus away from our talented Lana Parker and this whole mess with the MO at Peskorija. Can you see the difference? And one more thing: go ahead and re-read that nonsense they love to play with—she pushes her version of the story, and the journalists push theirs. Honestly, I couldn't care less about their little battles over what the "truth" is or who put a comma in the wrong place. Just give us what belongs to us, Maya—you have plenty of bright, beautiful moments, so stop playing games here with me and my Malac.

Yesterday she was just a Little Bee buzzing around Facebook, but today she's being thanked by Maja.🤣

I love how Đerek always puts that Republican trash in their place. She really calls them out...

Now the Republican crowd and Lemo will 100% spin the narrative to claim they handled the Fish Market themselves. 😂 It'll be easy for Lako Puljko to resist this kind of opposition. That is, if PR Lolek and Bolek aren't sleeping the winter sleep, so Puljko can actually make an announcement... Đerek is doing the work of a master kingmaker.

UPDATE ON THE FISH MARKET LEASE: Noštrom has consent until July, after which a public tender will be announced!

Those idiots from the Republican Party would have been better off staying quiet; now they've just made themselves look even worse...
- I certainly welcome the intense interest in this topic from the party that used to rule, during whose term the very concept of a public tender was practically unknown. Unfortunately, the number of these newly discovered irregularities grows every day, and they will be presented to both the public and the judicial institutions. It is heartening to see that in this relatively short period since I became department head, such significant progress has been made in understanding the public good—even prompting a reaction from the Republican Party after media reports surfaced regarding the leasing of the Fish Market to the Noštrom restaurant without a tender.

Please, give it a rest. You've been repeating the exact same thing since yesterday. It's like you're stuck on loop. 🤣

Also, instead of Djerek providing even a brief explanation regarding those "partially suspended tenders" or addressing the situation at the Fish Market, she chose to mock journalists on Facebook. It seems like a calculated move to turn that into the headline just to shift the spotlight away from our talented Lan Pavic and the Ministry's dealings with the Fish Market. Can you see the pattern here?

There you go—you and Martin Mladen Pauk are on the same side once again. 😁
