Donna Wells2 said:The Russians are basically just barking at the moon at this point.
They’ve burned through their elite weaponry and top-tier units, so now they’re scavenging anyone they can find—even 50-year-old retirees would probably fit the bill right now.
Word is that nearly half of the territorial fighters from the Donbas region have been chewed up and spat out by the meat grinder.
If that's the case, can you even begin to imagine what the total casualty count looks like?

I always look back at the quality gap between Russian gear and Western tech through the lens of the Tiger versus the Sherman tank.
How many Sherman tanks did it take to finally bring down a single Tiger?
Honestly, I suspect that exact same ratio still holds true today when comparing Russian hardware to Western equipment.

In theory, you could get away with a few. But honestly? Two shots to the engine from behind—that’s all it takes to turn the whole motor and fuel tank into a massive explosion.

Melissa Rivera5 said:I mean, honestly? I think Putin is his own worst enemy at this point. He's basically just sending young guys to die in conquest wars just so he can leave some kind of "legacy" behind. Between that and the fact that Russia is still feeling the demographic holes left over from World War II, they wouldn't stand a chance against NATO even if they tried using those old strategies. Russia is pretty much finished—one way or another.

Exactly. To Putin, how his image and deeds are recorded in history matters far more than the sheer number of lives lost—his own or anyone else's—to achieve his goals. He isn't the first to act this way. And such patterns always leave a devastating scar on the population.

So, I just saw some heavy news hitting the wires—a Russian transport Il-76 went down near Moscow, and apparently, there are four fatalities reported. https://twitter.com/AFP/status/15402...omeN_WtGw&s=19

They say there were 6 survivors. Honestly, 🤣
that plane was already a fireball before it even hit the ground; all that's left are bones. Who knows how many orcs were actually on board.

And next, we’ll probably need to de-engineer gravity itself.

I mean, it's pretty hard to believe anyone survived that wreck. Plus, nobody even knows what caused the crash in the first place, right?

Meanwhile, over on Russian TV, they are absolutely losing their minds because a US naval attaché was caught on camera while cycling past a "Z-symbol" flag; he stopped just long enough to flash them the middle finger. Now, some Russian MP is making these wild, aggressive threats, claiming they'll hunt him down regardless of any diplomatic immunity.

Russian MP losing his mind after a US naval attaché was filmed by Russian agents flipping of a “ Z-symbol on his way to work.

The Russian politician threatens that he has people out on the streets prepared to beat up the US diplomat.

The real motivation behind the Russian invasion—it’s about occupying parts of Ukraine that are loaded with natural gas and coal. They're aiming for total control over those Eurasian hydrocarbon sources, basically trying to recreate the old USSR power dynamics. At this point, all they're missing is Kazakhstan and the rest of the Caspian Sea nations...

Just a young revolutionary dropping some heavy heat.

An absolute traitor and collaborator was taken out in a car bomb over in Kherson earlier this morning.

‼️According to People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko, one of the biggest collaborators in occupied #Kherson just met his end in a car explosion.

Dmitriy Savluchenko was the head of the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of the occupation administration of the Kherson region. https://t.co/vPT0RK0lEl

One of the big-time traitors running things in occupied #Kherson, Dmitriy Savluchenko, was neutralized this morning. Honestly, if you're playing traitor in #Ukraine these days, your shelf life is incredibly short.
"Oh, they'll welcome us with open arms and flowers," right? Yeah, okay.

And now they're even throwing around threats of "old-school street justice."😬

For sure... but also, there's the threat of Ukraine actually becoming prosperous and democratic (moving closer to the EU), even if that process is painfully slow and difficult.

That could end up being a massive wake-up call for the people living in Russia...

Kazakhstan is a massive player here, given their huge reserves of oil and uranium. However, it presents a complication for the Russians because it's a Muslim nation. On top of that, Kazakhstan itself faces the struggle of being geographically isolated from the West.

Pro-Russian official killed in Kherson
after two other collaborators managed to walk away with just some minor injuries and a wrecked car
this traitor wasn't nearly as lucky
https://twitter.com/Flash43191300/st...966016/photo/1

It feels like there’s been an assassination attempt in Kherson almost every single day lately.

☕This city fell to Russia because local politicians sold them out, so now they're just cleaning house with some heavy-duty pest control to get rid of the vermin..🤣

So, I just saw this photo from a school rally over in the suburbs of DC. They’re holding up a sign that says "One people, one nation, one leader." It’s basically a word-for-word translation of that old Nazi slogan, Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer.

It’s honestly wild to think these are the same folks claiming they’re out there performing "denazification" on everyone else. https://t.co/LYOdUETlSE

Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer.

That whole phrase was plastered right on the flag at a school near Moscow where those students were posing for pictures. Just your typical, peaceful citizens of Russia, right?

Anyway, let's talk about this whole "fighting Nazis in Ukraine" thing for a second.

To make this absurdity even more delicious: the photo op happened right after a Belarusian (!) dissident allegedly sent a "directive from the headquarters of unified Russia" to the town, complete with a mandatory list of slogans. 😵

If it weren't so tragic and repulsive, it might actually be funny. 🤦

Germany is looking into seizing parts of Nord Stream 2 - Der Spiegel

The German Ministry of Economy is reportedly weighing the possibility of expropriating portions of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline—which is mostly owned by Russia—to help move gas from terminals along the Baltic Sea, according to a report from Der Spiegel this Friday.

According to Der Spiegel, the Ministry is basically checking if they can just take over sections of the pipeline system located on German soil and split them off from the rest of the network.

The weekly publication mentions that this seized chunk of the pipeline would be used to transport gas arriving at an LNG terminal on the Baltic Sea.

Moscow chimed in on Friday, saying they have absolutely no comment regarding what Der Spiegel is reporting.

It’s pretty funny how they’re staying totally silent on this, yet they were all over the Lithuanian blockade of Kaliningrad like it was their job. ☕
