Thompson covered that old American partisan song "Peregrine Falcon." It's a total rip-off.

I heard that too.
But there’s no connection.
The only links are Miloš and John; as for who copied whom, that remains an enigma.

It’s kind of like saying blues music is just plagiarism because everyone follows the same chord progressions. All those tracks were built from the same old folk motifs anyway.

It’s pretty obvious that Russians aren't exactly dying for someone else's territory.👍
When I look at these crews coming out of Georgia and Chechnya versus the guys defending Kyiv, the Danube, Odessa, Lviv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk... man, it doesn't take a genius to figure out who the aggressor is here.

The Partisans, though—they're actually known for being original vocalists. They basically invented the art form.

My Elena reached out from Mariupol 😢:

-The city is basically gone
-No running water or electricity—they get it once a week, and she just got handed two measly liters
-They’re digging up the dead and leaving them in the streets because the morgues are completely overwhelmed 😢
-They let people go into their homes during the day to grab belongings, and then they just level the houses right after
-No one is clearing the rubble, so the deceased are still trapped underneath. Her parents have been under the debris since mid-March; she went there begging them to clear it, but they just told her the city is crawling with rats—so what does she care? 😢
-Cooking outside, doing laundry outside
-The only way out is toward Russia through filtration camps, where things get horrific. People get stripped down and then held for "tattoo inspectors," even if the person doesn't have a single tattoo
-Russian flags are hanging everywhere, and they aren't letting us speak Ukrainian anymore. She said they warned that "there will be consequences for anyone speaking Ukrainian" 😠 (reminds me of when they called us traitors and threatened to hang us in Red Square)
-There's a 14-day penalty for littering, even though the whole city is buried in trash
-They destroyed a food transport car 😠
-Prices have quadrupled, and medicine is incredibly hard to find

Got more info coming, but my stomach is killing me—can't write everything out, just this "Russian world" nonsense

The US is currently at the peak of being a "Nation divided," and instead of having a strong leader at the helm, we’ve got Joe Biden, who basically needs constant reminders on when to sit down and when to stand up.

The European Union is predictably fractured; it’s like a bunch of chickens running in circles, each country just scrambling in its own direction...

From a geostrategic standpoint, Russia couldn't have found a better window of opportunity to launch this invasion and occupation.

Look, this patnik might actually have the capability to pull it off, but let's be real—New York City likely already has its nuclear arsenal aimed directly at the White House and whatever deep bunkers that patnik thinks will keep him safe.
I honestly just feel for the regular Russian folks and the opposition over there. They’re stuck sharing the same world and the same timeline with these absolute monsters.

And then you have Zakharov coming out with that stone-cold statement claiming that Russia has never actually threatened anyone with nuclear weapons. It’s honestly mind-blowing how much the Russians just lie and lie.

"#Russia has never threatened anyone with nuclear weapons", claims Press Secretary of the Department of State.

Just One Month ago, Roscosmos Head Dmitry Rogozin reminded everyone about Russia's nuclear arsenal. https://t.co/W0ZuQ5vnBL

History has a way of scrubbing all that clean, making it almost impossible to talk about.

Does anyone actually remember the horrors the Belgians inflicted on the Congo?
Ten million people killed or mutilated?!?!
That wasn't some modern era phenomenon, yet you can barely find it mentioned in textbooks today.

Or what about the colonial taxes from former colonies that France still uses to pad its budget quite effectively today?!?!

But let's just pretend none of that happened...

It’s relatively minor and doesn't really change anything regarding Ukraine.

A conventional conflict (and then some!?) with Putin looks pretty likely later this year.

The other day, I found myself watching that German film again, the Labyrinth of Silence...

Collective amnesia is such a convenient tool, one that politicians absolutely love to lean on and exploit...

☕Total shocker right? This lady's been lying since day one...

🙂Look back a few months before the invasion—she was basically saying the West tells her when the aggression starts because she plans her vacations around it...🤣

Putin

It's pretty obvious... we've been seeing this play out for at least a decade... and we know exactly where it starts.

Now the real question is whether he's got the guts to drag the Russian people into a full-blown war.
That would suck for everyone—including China.

Looking at the current map, it seems like Russia has managed to carve out a sort of "lite" version of Novorossiya. They’re essentially holding onto five out of the nine territories that make up the region.

His whole endgame is reclaiming the old USSR sphere of influence

and sabotaging the European Union

Does anyone happen to have a link to a recent poll regarding how satisfied Ukrainians actually are with Zelenskyy?

The reality on the ground.

No?
And what is this "reality"? Is public opinion in Mexico now entirely pro-Russian? Is that why you’re all so obsessed with when Americans will finally see things clearly? Honestly, I am fascinated by the sheer volume of comments on basically every American news site where Mexicans are lining up to show their support. I try to imagine the reverse: would Americans be this preoccupied with the views of their neighbors, decades after an armed aggression, still obsessively monitoring their pulse?🤷
