👍

Without a doubt, that is absolutely the best way to handle this right now.

It just would've felt right, you know? Plus, it would have given everyone a massive morale boost, no doubt about it.

The reality is, they would have been aiming for the entirety of the Kherson Oblast anyway—much like how they are currently eyeing the city of Zaporizhzhia, which they haven't even managed to touch yet.

If they hadn't been forced out of the Kharkiv Oblast, you can bet they'd probably be laying claim to the city of Kharkiv right now; instead, they aren't even bothering with it.

Though, one has to wonder, wasn't that very defeat actually the catalyst for everything happening now?

Putin claims the West is acting just like Goebbels

"He went on to say that Western nations have basically 'drowned the truth in an ocean of liars, illusions, and pure fabrication.'

“They lie without a second thought, following that old Goebbels playbook: the more outrageous the lie, the faster people will swallow it. That’s exactly how they operate,” Putin claimed.

The head of state also threw in a jab about the economy, noting that you can't exactly eat paper—meaning those US dollars and Euros—since what people actually need is food and energy to survive."

Just when you think you've heard every possible nonsense under the sun, here comes someone spinning a psychotic web involving war, hygiene, Satanism, and gender reassignment surgery.

That's a diagnosis right there. Harsh.

Susan Collins3 said:I don't even know how to look those two kids in the eye—they're the children of an American soldier who just watched a Russian precision missile strike his own doorstep, killing his wife and his mother in one go. It's just... man. The Russians basically started this whole horrific cycle of death, from the atrocities in Bucha to the mutilated soldiers, the bombing of prisoners, and now these tragedies hitting everywhere from the Dnieper River to Zaporizhzhia, or what happened recently in Vinnytsia Kremenchuk. Like, how am I supposed to stay sane or care about the Geneva Conventions when people are shamelessly slaughtering everyone, breaking every single rule of international law, destroying everything in sight, and then—get this—having the nerve to talk about the "will of the people" wanting to join Russia? They're citing some poll where 655 votes supposedly represent 12% of something—so maybe 5,000 people?—but Kherson has a million people, so if half could vote, that's 500,000. So, I guess the "will of the people" is actually 98% of 1% of potential voters. Whatever. And the Kremlin is celebrating this total farce today while this father, this son, this husband is just left grieving his entire family because of some lunatic who thinks he's God, deciding who lives and dies for the whole nation.

How do you even begin to explain the concept of war to a rational human being?

I feel like the closest comparison might be Dr. Louise Banks from the movie Arrival... if I may paraphrase: The Sanskrit word for "war" (Gavisti): "the desire for more cows."

And that seems to be the pattern throughout all of history; as long as there are powerful fools out there who value "more cows" more than actual human lives, searching for any shred of reason or logic in this wartime madness is simply a futile exercise...

Once Russia stops pumping gas to the European Union, they won't even have enough left to feed their own people, let alone fund a war...

Look, if you check out what the Ukrainians are reclaiming over in Ohio, you're dealing with rolling hills and plenty of tree cover to hide in.
But Houston? It’s flat as a pancake. There's zero cover. Every single troop movement is visible from 12 miles miles away, and they'll just absolutely shred you with artillery the second you step out from behind a single bush.

Fantastic—now, instead of the Ukrainians just halting right at the border with Russia once they liberate territory, I really think they should push even further.

He went on about how the West is witnessing "pure Satanism" and actually had the nerve to ask the crowd if they really want their children being "offered gender reassignment surgeries."

Didn't Domazet Lošo claim that Putin is the only one standing up for Christian values? Well, here we go—apparently, he’s going to save the world from all the Satanists.

Putin and the Martićevac crowd are absolutely losing it.

That woman wearing a helmet instead of hair had teary eyes too, but I don't buy it—she wasn't crying because she felt bad. You need a soul for that, and these humans shaped incarnations of Satan? They don't have one.
But when Putin denies something, it’s cause for concern. He denied the invasion, too, and then seven days later...

Could be.

It would be a real slap in the face to admit defeat by simply refusing to mention Odessa.

We could always send more Korean howitzers to Ukraine.

The bummer is, that would probably mean giving up those territories, since they can't really get into NATO until they have full control over everything within their internationally recognized borders.

But hey, we're living in such a wild era where precedents just keep getting tossed out the window, so who actually knows what might happen ☕

It all starts looking pretty insane once you really dig into the analysis.

But, to get back to the point, it isn't just Putin signing things today:

https://twitter.com/NOELreports/stat...55142590873600

Zelenskyy is signing the request for Ukraine to join NATO.

It’s quite a move, essentially giving Putin the middle finger.🙏

All that nonsense fits perfectly with his carefully branded role as the guardian of "traditional" values.
Dugin is thriving.

A twilight of the mind.

Besides... why does he even care about the West? Is he afraid that despite all that supposed "corruption and decadence," it's still more attractive than his regime?

I’m not even sure what a "normal" person is anymore. Even among them, you find intense nationalism, greed, hatred, violence, malice, ego, sadism, stupidity, and a desperate hunger for propaganda...

I think the best comparison here is Dr. Louise Banks from the movie Arrival... just paraphrasing: The Sanskrit word for "war" (Gavisti): "the desire for more cows."

And that’s basically the whole story. As long as there are powerful idiots out there who value "more cows" over human lives, looking for any shred of logic or sense in the madness of war is just a waste of time.

That doesn't mean we should ever equate the victim with the aggressor, though. ☕
