From what I can tell, there aren't any maps out there clearly showing where those regions' borders actually sit—you know, the ones annexed by the Russian Federation.

He can declare whatever he wants if he feels like it, but let's be real—if you can't back it up with boots on the ground to actually take or hold territory... then it’s nothing more than empty words on a page.

When you look at what's likely coming for Russia due to these sanctions—Brezhnev’s "era of stagnation" is going to look like a golden age of massive growth and prosperity by comparison.

Roger Cooper91 said:I’ve been looking at the comments coming out of the local news circles and even here lately, and I’m honestly fascinated. You see people saying, "Oh, Russia is just going to annex the occupied territories." Okay, and? Does that mean the war—pardon me, the special military operation—is suddenly over?

For an annexation to actually happen, one side has to decisively defeat the other and seize or liberate those territories. But let’s be real: this conflict isn't even close to being finished. If anything, things might just escalate further. What on earth is going through people's heads?

We will likely see a shift toward a wartime economy soon, with much higher defense spending across the board.

gentlerider7 said:Putin claims the West is acting just like Goebbels

"He went on to say that Western nations have basically 'drowned the truth in an ocean of liars, illusions, and pure fabrication.'

“They lie without a second thought, following that old Goebbels playbook: the more outrageous the lie, the faster people will swallow it. That’s exactly how they operate,” Putin claimed.

The head of state also threw in a jab about the economy, noting that you can't exactly eat paper—meaning those US dollars and Euros—since what people actually need is food and energy to survive."

🙏 🤣. So, when is he going to hand Kyiv back to Mother Russia? And what about Odesa?

I honestly don't get how he thinks Russia can act like a global superpower when they only make up about 1.5% of the world's population.
In a few decades, China and the various Turkic groups within the Russian Federation are going to completely swallow what's left of Orthodox Russia.
It’s just a shame that Putin, Dugin, and the rest of that crew won't be around to see it happen.

I suppose we'll see a "special military operation" for liberation there soon too. 😁.

If the Russians don't go for full mobilization, they won't even be able to call them "mother" and "father" anymore; it'll just be "parent one" and "parent two." Meanwhile, kids will be switching genders in preschool and all that nonsense. 🤦>

Honestly, most of them looked like they were at a funeral. As for Ramzan Kadyrov, he just looked like he was holding back tears, and Dmitry Peskov looked like he nearly passed out.

Honestly, I'd rather they break down in tears than have some dictator send them straight to the front lines.

In today’s terms, you’d call that pure BIG DICK ENERGY!
I truly believe the phones over at the KGB (or the military command) are going to be ringing off the hook in the coming days; the ball is firmly in their court now.

Since Putin seems to have a thing for certain dates—and I'm pretty sure it wasn't by accident—September 30, 1938, marks when the Munich Agreement was signed. That was the moment Adolf Hitler annexed about 30% of Czechoslovakia's territory into Germany.

I gotta say, it honestly sucks and feels a little weird that they didn't push all the way to liberate Kherson.
It just would've felt right, you know? Plus, it would have given everyone a massive morale boost, no doubt about it.

Honestly, they looked like they were right on the verge of tears—even Dmitry Medvedev seemed to be feeling it.

To me, they looked like they were about to burst into tears from being moved. Kadyrov was even looking up at the sky, thanking Allah or whoever.
That woman wearing a helmet instead of hair had teary eyes too, but I don't buy it—she wasn't crying because she felt bad. You need a soul for that, and these humans shaped incarnations of Satan? They don't have one.
But when Putin denies something, it’s cause for concern. He denied the invasion, too, and then seven days later...

You're joking, but I actually work for someone who makes these exact same accusations against the decadent West.🕺
