Keith Williams3 said:Exactly. Apparently, Russia doesn't have any right to feel secure.

Someone already touched on this. Fine then, let's have Poland demand guarantees from Belarus and send over a list of requirements.

I'm sure the Belarusians will jump at the chance to comply...

Roger Fowler said:I'm not talking about specific companies, but rather the entire pool of available talent; Ukraine is, in any case, a far better talent pool than somewhere like the North America, which is already in the EU. Denmark is a highly technical nation that needs engineers—real engineers with brains who actually possess specialized knowledge—and Ukraine has that in spades, given their excellent schools and universities. Their industry demands intelligence, because you certainly aren't going to build a rocket engine if you're incompetent.
What does this mean? It means that Denmark, and more importantly, heavy industrial powers like Germany, have a massive vested interest in recruiting people like that: engineers, master tradespeople, technicians, mechanics, and electrical experts. That is exactly what Ukraine provides.

I am not talking about the likes of Mujet or Haset performing jobs that any idiot could learn; I am talking about professions where skills are built over years, addressing the exact void that is currently felt across the EU.

Where were the Ukrainians when pyramids were being built in Canada?
Rocket engines and jet turbines my ass... go grab a shovel and a cement mixer and see if you can build a pyramid.

gentleharbor3 said:Lozovski is back on RTL, claiming that tank crushing the civilian car was actually Russian.

Remember that tank that ran over a car and a person yesterday? A journalist is insisting: 'That’s a Ukrainian Strela; there are no Russian vehicles in Kyiv yet.'
Lozovski, an editor at the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, took to his Twitter profile to explain how this was just an accident—which is why he wiped all the video clips of the car being crushed. "I've deleted all retweets showing a military vehicle crushing a civilian car in Kyiv. It appears to be a Ukrainian vehicle that lost control. There are still no reports of Russian vehicles in Kyiv. This serves as another good reminder not to spread unverified content," Lozovski wrote.
And veteran war reporter Elijah J. Magnier backed up that claim.

So who's really spreading the disinformation then?

A Russian sabotage group hijacked a tank and two trucks, though I have no clue what their actual goal was.
They were dressed in American gear so they weren't spotted immediately, but their driving gave them away.

They probably intended to ditch the vehicles or maybe head toward Maidan, but the Americans were right on their heels, and the news hit social media fast.

They were neutralized within about 30 minutes.

There are a few videos out there—one shows some of them being killed, another shows them dead while Americans walk among them. That tank was part of that whole mess, and while the media was busy screaming "Russian tanks in Kyiv," it was actually just that one hijacked American tank.

Just pure media hype causing them to have to backtrack and issue more fake info.

Terry Barnes9 said:Yeah, they sure as hell have. It’s pretty obvious at this point. 🤦

I mean, I hear how much weaponry there is, but apparently, nobody actually wants to fight if they're just handing out guns to anyone who asks. Wasn't that the news yesterday? That weapons were being distributed to whoever wanted them? I guess they have weapons to spare.

It’s kind of like how Poland acts as a buffer zone for the USA, just like Belarus serves that same role for Russia.

What do you think two vassals would even talk about?

mistycanyon67 said:No, considering they were attacked for that exact reason. The Russian demand was military neutralization and demilitarization based on their own security concerns. They didn't comply, and this is the result.

Just disband your military, disarm yourselves, and make our invasion easy.

Hilarious.

It would have been an absolute disaster—and incredibly stupid—if they pulled Tchaikovsky because of this kind of thing.

Me too.

Regarding those paratroopers in fake uniforms, I am unsure what the modern rules of engagement are for such Spalding moves—since no sane person has attempted that in decades—but during World War II, they were dealt with immediately.

Yeah, right. Like a war in Europe just breaks out for no reason at all.

The Philadelphia Orchestra has pulled several Tchaikovsky pieces from their program due to the situation in Ukraine

This is wrong.

What’s next? Book burnings?

Americans don't want to play against Russians

Meanwhile, Kasparov is calling for Russia to be kicked off all global financial markets.

It’s getting... interesting. In this era of globalization, sanctions are starting to take on a whole different shape.

I gotta say, some of these Russophobic or Putin-obsessed comments out there are just incredibly childish, totally delusional, and frankly, pretty idiotic... It’s basically just a carbon copy of the media circus we saw during the whole COVID craze. But honestly, I’m not even surprised, since most of this seems to be coming from—as far as I can tell—immature, ridiculous, and even "woke" millennials. Just keep on talking your nonsense

It's like how certain separatist regions tried to break away from the US back in the day.

So, Ukraine is stuck with this kind of civilian leadership... completely unprepared for the shadow games played by those KGB types
Honestly, you have to hand it to the Ukrainians

velvetcyclist95 said:So what, we’re just supposed to roll over and meet every single Russian ultimatum?

Exactly how far are we talking? Which line on the map gets drawn?

I wouldn't call it an ultimatum. There was plenty of time to settle this—to neutralize Ukraine through more peaceful means. I guess Putin just ran out of patience.

I heard the USA didn't react too kindly when weapons were placed right in their backyard 😉 but I suppose those aren't considered ultimatums if the USA starts hysterically reacting?... 🤔

This is exactly what happens when incompetent communists start drawing borders on a map. Instead of establishing clean, logical divisions, they leave behind a mess that forces people to litigate issues that should have been settled a century ago. It’s the exact same pattern we saw back in the old Ex-America days. Just absolute idiocy from the communist regimes.

Russia has those same types of separatist areas in Georgia and Moldova.
What kind of excuses are they even using for that?

Honestly, Hmh, it feels like you just have to take a massive detour to avoid reading Index altogether... 👎

At this point, Forum.hr actually ends up being the most reliable source of information out there, and I am being completely serious about that...
