Is that point number 5 pretty close to the city center? 🕺

I’m betting the main Russian armored push comes from the north, out of the Obolon sector... seems like the toughest spot for Ukrainians to hold down.

A pedestrian assault from that direction would be straight-up suicide for the Russians because of how open those fields are... honestly, I’m not sure what their playbook looks like here. Probably going to see multi-pronged attacks tomorrow.

They can't cross the Dnieper using those bridges. Their only shot might be via the massive Northern bridge... any other crossing point is basically impossible because of the elevation changes.

And where are those Ukrainian advisors now—the Americans and the Brits? First they push them to take on the Russians, and then they basically leave them hanging out to dry. ☕

That’s just your wet dream. Weapons are flowing straight from Poland and getting delivered to the Russians... right through the barrel.

Stop wasting your breath. ☕

How exactly is Russia being threatened by NATO? I mean, isn't their F-22 Raptor supposed to be the most advanced and superior fighter jet out there? Isn't their Abrams tank supposedly the best in the world? And don't they possess invincible hypersonic weaponry? I thought their F-15 Eagle could simply fly past a US warship and send it scurrying away from the Black Sea like a total coward.

Joseph Cruz said:But isn't there a third option? Could they have remained neutral, much like how Finland and Sweden functioned during the Cold War? If Ukrainians had opted for military neutrality, perhaps this war could have been avoided entirely. Consider this: the Warsaw Pact never once attacked Sweden or Finland, even though they possessed the capability to do so without any fear of triggering a NATO response that might escalate into World War III...

The Russians are doing everything in their power to prevent Sweden and Finland from joining NATO.

Meanwhile, former Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev claimed on Saturday that Russia should sever all diplomatic ties with the West as retaliation for sanctions.

"It’s time we put padlocks on the embassies," he stated, according to RIA Novosti.

He also commented that since Russia was suspended from the Council of Europe, capital punishment could potentially be reinstated within the country.

What the hell is he even talking about??

This is actually a pretty solid, level-headed breakdown of the Russian invasion and all the mess they're dealing with. It dives into why they only have about 200k soldiers ready to go—mostly due to massive logistical nightmares like food and fuel supplies—while also calling out how they're just turning a blind eye to the deep-seated corruption within their military and the grim reality on the ground. Plus, it hits on those totally misguided assumptions people had about how much resistance they'd actually face over in Ukraine.

It'll be one of those things—anyone who didn't find cover in NATO was basically left out in the rain.☕

And Germany?
They’re probably busy debating if they should send another 500 helmets.

Can we please—just for once—use a little logic before venting like this? These clips are from yesterday, and we're looking at a Ukrainian column. Does anyone seriously believe the Russians are just cruising in convoys down highways without having 100% air superiority in the area? Are people actually suggesting the Russian military is just some pathetic group of armed idiots??? Look, if you're going to passionately root for one side (personally, I just want this war over immediately—I don't care how—so bear with me), at least try to be somewhat rational and objective. Don't just swallow every bit of war propaganda that comes your way.

You could have at least put in the effort to watch the video; if you look at 0:20, you can clearly see the vehicles have "Z" markings on them.

Angela Merkel is being sneaky again.

Crypto is basically high-risk speculative gambling, not a reliable way to handle everyday transactions. Sure, people use it to dodge sanctions—much like a black market—but it isn't a legitimate substitute for currency. It’ll likely end up hurting Russia, particularly regarding Western trade.

If there weren't economic consequences involved, they wouldn't be making things this difficult with this move. But that's how it works in any conflict, whether it's military or economic. Nobody escapes without casualties; it really just comes down to how much you're willing to sacrifice to reach a goal.

He’s bound to be absolutely livid about it.
The sanctions are hitting hard, the oil taps are being shut off, and yet—against all the "expert" predictions—the Ukrainians still haven't surrendered. How long was that supposed to take again? 96 hours?
And considering the Russian Army hasn't even made a serious dent anywhere outside of Kyiv...
it's clear that Ukraine is much more than just its capital.
I'm hearing reports that Ukrainians have seized a hydroelectric plant and that Western weaponry is already flowing in.
There's really no telling how long the Ukrainian people can hold out against this madman's onslaught.
May God watch over them.

I mean, I'd probably say the Americans intentionally leaked disinformation about Kyiv falling in 72 or 96 hours just to bait Putin 😁

Like, if gas hits $5 a gallon—which is basically mandatory since you can't get around without a car in most parts of the US—they're just stuck.

Is it actually dollars or bucks?

Image: https://prnt.sc/82VKfukXp7vx

1. Hostomel Airfield. This is where the Russians kicked things off with those helicopter assaults. The Ukrainians managed to claw it back by the end of the day, but then the Russians moved back in and took it again the next morning.
2. Vorzel. Combat was happening here today. Pretty sure the Russians have seized control of this area now.
3. That spot from yesterday where a tank crushed a car—it was a Russian saboteur turned into a Ukrainian soldier. His crew actually hijacked the tank before they were neutralized.
4. The bridge the Ukrainians blew up yesterday to stop the Russians from crossing the Dnieper.
5. Where the Russian night raid ended today. Left behind several destroyed tanks and vehicles, plus heavy Russian casualties.
6. Where the old man is digging his trench.
7. Just a bit south, you've got Vasilyevsky Airfield and the nearby town. The Russians tried an airborne assault to take control, but they got stopped and wiped out. The local mayor confirmed it.

thanks. very informative.

Jessica Rivera37 said:Zelenskyy actually caught me off guard in the best way possible. The man has real guts, and his delivery is incredibly sharp. He’s even calling for negotiations just to put an end to this absolute madness. I was watching a video of a captured Russian soldier calling his parents, and they were completely blindsided—they had no idea he was even in Ukraine. It really hits home when you realize these Russians have mothers and children back home, though let's be honest, most of them probably couldn't care less about any of this geopolitical mess.
Another thing that strikes me as odd is the lack of media coverage regarding the portrayal of the Ukrainian military, specifically the Azov neo-Nazis who have always been so "camera-ready."

Suddenly he remembers how to negotiate? He had years to actually make the Minsk Agreement work.
People here are foaming at the mouth over Russia, yet the gas pipeline through Ukraine is still running at full capacity—it wouldn't make sense for either army to sabotage it right now. ☕
Besides, Russian gas is still flowing steadily toward Europe. Honestly, the "biggest" hit to Putin will probably just be that guy from Crimea and that sleazy Abramovich having to sell off Chelsea FC. 🤣

It’s honestly wild how many people the Russ are losing. At this point, I’m not even shocked by claims that they've lost 3,500 soldiers already.

The only thing I can't wrap my head around is where these battles are actually happening. Our news anchors say 'Russ forces are near 19 miles Kyiv,' then 'Russ entered Kyiv,' then back to 'Russ are just outside 37 miles Kyiv,' and now suddenly fighting is happening in the suburbs right by the Capitol building... 🤔🤔

Why? Because their whole philosophy on warfare has always been that people are the least important resource. One dead man is a tragedy, but a hundred deaths? That’s just statistics...

It means he’s completely lost the plot. Word is he’s even threatening to nationalize assets belonging to foreign companies registered in Russia. That tells you everything you need to know about how clueless he is—he’d basically be dragging Russia back to the Dark Ages.

Besides, Russia isn't cutting off gas supplies, and they sure as hell aren't going to attack NATO countries or Sweden and Finland. There are still people at the top of the Russian Federation and actual sane individuals who realize we all have to live here even after the aggression against Ukraine.
