In this crazy world where technology keeps sprinting ahead while our sense of morality just seems to be sliding backward, emotions have a nasty habit of clouding everyone's judgment, and honestly, having massive expectations is just a one-way ticket to suffering! It feels like every single year about 15 million kids are born into this mess—kids who nobody seems to want or actually need, though let’s be real, nothing in this life can ever be tougher than reality itself; even so, if you actually bother to understand the laws of ballistics, you can easily dodge a bullet's path, but sometimes a stray shot fired completely at random will hit its mark with a terrifying, perverse kind of precision. But hey, if you just ignore all that heavy stuff and head down to a local diner to crush a massive burger loaded with onions and wash it down with some water near a historic landmark like the Old North Church, you'll feel this incredible sense of peace for a little while, and you'll definitely find yourself coming back for more! Who knows, maybe you'll stumble upon some blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl or at least catch her scent drifting down the street as she walks by, and if you happen to have a Siberian squirrel waiting for you at home, you'll never have to worry about being lonely or bored ever again.

You just don't get it. It’s nothing but a fake sense of peace found in some sad, greasy burger joints.
Blondes don't even notice when someone has terrible breath. 😁

I'm with Squirrel on this one.

Hallucinating after they're gone? Or are you talking about someone taking a lethal dose of hallucinogenic mushrooms to end it all? 😁

Btw, I'm actually curious if there's ever been a single case where someone committed suicide just out of pure curiosity. Usually, Suicide prevention awareness tells us it's an act done while someone is in a really bad headspace. Like, if you jump in front of a bullet to save a loved one, that's not suicide in that sense, that's just being a hero. Maybe this author's curiosity is just a cover for some kind of negative mental state?

Honestly, reading stuff like this makes me want to end it all.
So suicide is a sacrifice if it isn't suicide?
And a "bad headspace" is just sacrificing yourself for someone you love?

Sweetie, did you write this in kindergarten?

Do you ever actually think about what you're typing?
Do you ever bother to read what you wrote?

P(aket).S(atirov).:
I'll email you a care package of razor blades... maybe shave your veins instead of mine.

I know it’s probably too much for you to wrap your head around the idea of stepping in front of a bullet. If you can't tell the difference between suicide and self-sacrifice, you probably can't tell a bullet from a pebble or a gun barrel.
Anyone who can't distinguish between dying for a cause and taking their own life should just get it over with. I promise to send a decent wreath to the funeral...

Looks like you’re having some major issues with reading comprehension. Maybe try reading what I wrote one more time and see if it clicks? You're clearly struggling, but hey, at least you're trying to act smart.

The irony is real. This whole post of yours is just a result of you not getting what was said. Read it again, really think about it, and maybe apply that logic to yourself. Like they say, just keep talking until you're still breathing. And why are you even addressing me as a girl? ahha, goes to show your ability to understand things...

Seriously, do yourself a favor and actually work on your reading comprehension. Maybe then you won't be posting such absolute nonsense. You completely missed the point of what I wrote and totally twisted my words in your head.

Sweet. 😉

I can't believe I'm even saying this, but I totally agree with what neonmarlin39 said earlier. It’s funny because it reminds me of that one time I was stuck in traffic outside of Chicago—just sitting there, staring at the bumper in front of me, thinking about how much time we waste on stuff that doesn't matter. Anyway, the point stands. Sometimes you just have to look at the big picture instead of getting hung up on the tiny details.
Chloe Moore5 said:I know, it’s paralyzing...

It all depends on how hard you pray, how you say it, and if you’re down on your knees doing it. Besides, when you signed up for this public forum, you agreed to the rules—which basically mean anyone can quote your post and jump in to build on it. So, I don't really get why you're being so defensive about it. 🤔 Look, you can play dictator over who gets quoted on your own private forum if that's how you want to roll, but honestly, it doesn't really make sense here. Besides, this is probably the first time I've even crossed paths with you—I was just jumping in on what you wrote.

What I mean is that visions of heaven and hell are just hallucinations. Like those tunnels, the light at the end, seeing deceased great-grandmas, and all that jazz. Just images the brain produces right before it shuts down. So, if he's really at that point, he might as well just trip on some acid or something and see a funny frog or whatever.

I tried asking him exactly what's going on, but he doesn't seem very interested in talking. Maybe he's just satisfied with the attention his morbid posts get, maybe he really intends to check out for reasons only he knows, or maybe he's just lost in the woods. Who knows.

Man, that wouldn't fly at my place with my cats around. I mean, dogs might be okay, but my cat actually hunted a ferret in the backyard once... don't even get me started on what would happen to a squirrel.

You think you can just be rude like that? You didn't even catch what I was saying in my first post—I wasn't even talking about space. What am I supposed to do, hand you a trophy or something? Not happening.

Like, what makes asking "Do you even know how big the universe is?" rude?

I totally got it, don't worry. But did you get the part about the universe? Clearly not if you think that was being disrespectful 😁

Look, you started with all the prayers, so I just asked how intense your prayers actually were before deciding whether to grant them or not. Seems pretty fair to me, especially since we already cleared up the rules here.

So, from what I can see, you haven't really given any decent responses to any of these forum prompts, and I wasn't even calling that post about space rude. You know exactly what I meant...

Besides, you were talking about outer space, but I was talking about the world—the stuff happening right here in our own backyard. Through some weird luck, I’ve had the chance to work with a lot of retirees, and they drive a ton of different perspectives. Some of them have found exactly what they were looking for, and they describe life as being totally complete, ready to move on. That’s what I meant when I said you’ve tried everything. Not every single thing that has ever existed, but everything your soul recognizes as "yours," or something that just fits...

A round of applause? A standing ovation? What exactly?

If you think something is rude or breaks the site rules, just hit the report button, it's that simple. Then you can see if the mods agree with you. You can't really demand that people stop quoting your posts just because you feel like it, especially when you call them rude for explaining basic forum etiquette. Honestly, it makes no sense to expect people on a public American forum not to quote you in a thread. If you don't want that, then just don't post, problem solved... it should be obvious, and we wouldn't even need to be having this whole conversation.

Just ignore it if you're not feeling it. I never asked you to bail on the topic, just to stop acting like there's something other than infinity out there. A request and a prayer aren't the same thing, so let's not start playing the wounded martyr here...

Whatever. We’re back to the same old thing—there’s really no point in telling people what they should or shouldn't write on a public forum, right? You’ve got total control over your own posts, so just let mine—or anyone else's—be. You can't change what we write, so why get all worked up? It’s bad for your health and honestly, not great for your skin either.

Yeah, I saw how the conversation went.
And seeing how it went is exactly why I felt the need to chime in.
Basically, you were being rude, and there was zero reason for it.
Now you’re doubling down with that same tone, which is also totally unnecessary.

Btw, I'm not even that sensitive.

I mean, if you felt the need to chime in and keep preaching like this, you're definitely sensitive. 😁 Are you her boyfriend or something? 🤔
And what exactly was rude? Was it the joke about prayer or the forum rules? Should we go ask the mods for an opinion, or are we just gonna let the little flower-and-butterfly crowd chirp away about their feelings and subjective vibes? Honestly, I don't feel like fighting about this... look, feel free to report the thread to a mod. Be my guest, let's see their official ruling on why I'm being "rude"—because right now, you're just talking nonsense and I have no clue what you think you're seeing. It's the exact same thing as Satir and Kusch.

So, let's take another look at my posts you keep bringing up. What part of this is actually "rude" or "disrespectful" to you? 🤔 What are we even talking about here?
