ironcyclist58 said:That would be a massive fail. If they actually want to go toe-to-toe with those big foreign fintech players, they’d need to offer some kind of sign-on bonus or free credit...

Perhaps they will offer something similar to what Chase does—maybe three free withdrawals at other bank ATMs.

Ultimately, based on this, Cookie seems poised to become the first domestic prepaid account with a debit card that allows for easy top-ups, spending, and seamless transactions. If I recall correctly, Aircash is the closest local competitor, though they lack the physical card component.

I will never understand why institutions like Wells Fargo or Capital One haven't enabled something similar for their prepaid cards long ago. Instead, they continue to rely on outdated methods like in-person teller deposits or manual transfers.

Yeah, it's a great move
JPMorgan Chase is definitely leading the pack when it comes to innovation in our banking sector

If they’d just give us the routing number too...

When using a Diners Club card alongside PayPal, is the amount solely deducted
from my cash limit, or does it also trigger a cash advance fee?

You won't be charged a cash advance fee.

Is anyone else having trouble with their mail? My webmail is working fine, but the mobile app is totally dead on arrival.

I can log into my Chase account without any issues and I'm totally able to set up a new account, but honestly, I have zero clue about how the payment side works since I don't have any bills sitting around right now—I literally just settled everything yesterday.

Every time I try to enter my PIN, the screen just spins forever before hitting me with error 10013.

EDIT: Weirdly enough, it works fine on my mobile data (Verizon), but won't load at all on my home Wi-Fi (also Verizon!?)...

Yeah, I’m getting that exact same 10013 error on my fixed Verizon connection too. But get this—when I switch over to my mobile data, everything works perfectly fine without a hitch. Weird, right?

PayPal pushed back the deadline for those new terms to July 22nd. So, starting Wednesday, you won't be able to run PayPal on two different phones anymore...

I guess that’s when Cookie should be showing up too.

@ironcyclist58 So, what kind of alternatives are we actually looking at now that Keksica Pay is out of the picture?

Let's try to guess which card brand they'll actually use—if I had to bet, it’ll probably just be some prepaid Visa debit card, right?

Also, does anyone know how to get rid of this "secondary" profile? It’s totally useless now, so I'd love to just delete it...

Look, because things were getting pretty urgent, I went ahead and wiped all the accounts and cards from my other profile, then just swapped the name over to another family member. That should probably do the trick...

It’s honestly pretty awesome that the Cookie is dropping soon. I mean, it feels like a solid move overall, right? I just really hope they aren't going to hit us with some annoying monthly maintenance fee or some other random nonsense for keeping an account open. 👍

It looks like there isn’t even an option to delete a profile in the settings. What was their plan there? It feels like they're just looking to freeze both accounts by Wednesday.

EDIT: Just checked. You just have to delete the app and stop using it. Once you reinstall, it’ll ask for activation and everything else like it's your first time.

At 9:17 this morning, a transfer of $330 was sent via PayPal to my Chase checking account. As of right now, the funds haven't actually hit the balance.

What’s the play here?

Should I just sit tight and wait, or is it time to give Wells Fargo a call?
