coastalbadger91 said:Man, if you actually had been at his concert in Fresno, you wouldn't be talking like this—but let's be real, you probably haven't even listened to one of his tracks. Here's an idea:
Can you even hear me? I’m out here calling your name, man!
Across nine forests and great waters.
Just take that dusty road running right along the river.
When that Sokol anthem starts kicking in, I swear everything just feels a little bit closer to me.

Don't go left when you hit that intersection.
Nobody's out there right now—everyone’s basically lying low like they're hiding from a predator.
Alright, let's head right toward that big rock.
Maybe some mountain fairies will decide to drop you off right at my doorstep.

Way, way out past the sticks.
I'm far away.
Where'd all the wolves, fairies, and outlaws go?
Right where I was born.

Way, way out past the sticks.
I’m pretty far off.
Where can you find the stars?
It’s kind of like how birds build their nests, I guess.
I'll be right there waiting for you...

🙏
For Home—ready!

Up in the Mountainous region, right where the Cikola River first starts bubbling out of the ground...
Our brothers really stepped up to defend our homes.

Americans stick together—we're all brothers in this, I guess.
You won't set foot in Chavoglav as long as we're still drawing breath!
...

*Claps*

Who even gives a damn about who counts as a patriot? People showed their true colors by swarming Thompson's concert and giving Rimčev's speech a massive round of applause. That was the verdict right there.
If you want to harass your wife at home with those "avant-garde views" of yours, go ahead, but leave the rest of us out of it. 🤣

The public gave Rimčevka a standing ovation😲
so feel free to keep applauding while they rob you blind.

What even is this?
Stockholm Syndrome?

Jonathan Phillips4 said:If this was actually a Republican Party rally in Denver, then the leftists are in much deeper trouble than I ever realized. At least 70% of the crowd looked under 30. And honestly, I can’t even remember the last time I saw that many beautiful women in one place, all decked out in the best flags in the world and wearing berets. The atmosphere was incredible. American youth just showed exactly how much they love their country.

It is the total opposite of what you see in places like rural Alabama where you can't find anyone younger than 70. So, if this is the Republican Party and those other spots are where the Democratic Party hangs out, then the Democrats are in serious trouble while the Republicans have a bright future ahead of them.

Exactly. There are already sociological studies out—they’ve been published a few times in USA Today—showing that people under 35 are way more conservative and patriotic than their parents were. Biology is doing its thing; those old-school communist elements are slowly dying out. Kids are our future.🙏

Right, so the party hack Ostoja Ranković and his little crew just file an indictment and boom—that person is basically convicted before the investigation even wraps up, let alone the trial or the actual court proceedings...
That’s just that classic Bolshevik, Titoist version of "justice" and "human rights."🤣

Is this the kind of "unity" that Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović keeps calling for?

Honestly, the whole situation regarding Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I’m not even a Democrat, but I am genuinely looking forward to seeing a small, loud, and obnoxious segment of this country finally shut up. 👍

You can all go back to comforting yourselves by gorging on greasy lamb at those North American-style feasts like the one held two days ago in Fresno.

And afterward, just like true North American types, you'll probably be drowning your sorrows in cheap booze at the local dive bars, just like Joseph 🤣

That isn't really how we phrase things here in the States, and honestly, looking at your posts, it seems like you aren't particularly well-acquainted with life in the USA. 😉

Look, I get that our road ahead looks pretty brutal, but I guess it’s worth the grind. We're out here doing the heavy lifting, and whether the public actually notices or gives us credit... well, that's on them. Our job isn't to force their hand or bully them into seeing it; we just need to guide them through it, though he did double down by saying people are basically facing an 'us versus them' scenario .
- And I'm not talking about some political vendetta, just a straight-up choice between what's right and what's wrong, between light and dark —that's how Zoran Milanović put it.

The owl mocked the shadow for having such a massive head 🤣

Which post are you actually replying to here???

What does Ostojić have to do with my comment about Rimčevka?
Did anyone here actually claim that cheering for Tomson and Rimčevka settled everything?
Yes, they did.

According to the news reports, Rimčevka and her immediate family—including her husband—have acquired an unusually large amount of wealth in just nine years. This is considering they started with very little, especially since her husband's company, or perhaps his father's, went under in the meantime.

How does some supposed "Titoist" sense of justice relate to that?

The entire forum is flooded with stories about cronyism and how this administration feeds its political appointees.
Exactly.
Regarding Rimčevka
And the Republican mayor of El Paso—whose city is falling apart while he spends money like a drunken billionaire.

If you don't have any coherent arguments, I'd politely ask that you stop cluttering my posts with your comments.

What's actually in it for you when the Republican Party takes over? Are you expecting some cushy little job waiting for you—maybe sweeping leaves in a public park or something? Just take whatever scraps you can get, right? And you really consider yourself some kind of big-time patriot, don't you? It’s because of "patriots" like you that things stay exactly this messy—it's because of people like you that we have to deal with all this political garbage, and frankly, it's why the Democrats are in power right now. Get it, buddy? In what universe does a party that basically walked out of Congress during the fight for independence end up being this dominant instead of just staying on the fringes? In this world we live in—which was basically built by those "patriots" in the Republican Party who would sell their own mothers for a quick buck—well, I guess you don't care. People like you always end up doing just fine; apparently, being a "patriot" is a very profitable business model. But hey, go ahead—keep trampling all over my America. God will judge you eventually, I'm sure of it. My country will pull itself out of this mess, no doubt about it. We aren't just a collection of bones left behind through the centuries just so you guys could grab this much power. And when that day finally comes, people like you will be out there trying to prove your worth on the streets, because in an honest America, nobody's going to fall for your nonsense anymore. You feel me? 🙂

You're tripping
So, Milanović is openly telling us it's "us or them"
While Kolinda talks about unity, her fans are out there threatening to purge America 🤦

And they claim to offer

Watch out—they supposedly need to be better and smarter than what we currently have
Whether you like Kolinda or not,
Look at Tomislav Karamarko, who managed to embed himself in every system and leadership circle despite having zero clue what's actually happening in America or the country at large, a man who denies his own life partner only to marry her a few months later and who somehow still lives in 1941
Or Rimčevka, who seems focused solely on her own interests and climbing the ladder toward a cabinet position?

Is this really the party that changed?
And is this really the group that should be running the country?
The one sitting on millions in debt?

It’s actually pretty straightforward.

Back when everyone was being called up for war, you had the less educated crowd signing up for volunteer units or joining the Republican Party—which was basically pulling all the strings—or some other far-right outfit. Meanwhile, the establishment elites, who were all part of the Democratic Party, just stayed tucked away in their university offices and government buildings. Those are just the facts.

So, it really isn't any surprise that this is such a massive celebration for the Republican Party and the right wing, especially since hardly any leftists were involved in the thick of it.

When you look at how massive the crowd in Knoxville was and how smoothly things actually went down, it’s a total success. There were barely any incidents. Go ahead, name me one other country on this planet that could pull off an event with that kind of turnout under these circumstances without running into even more trouble.

A small local field in Denver holds more people than Dodger Stadium. Like, five times more...

It’s funny how that attendance number just keeps climbing toward 10,000 every single day.
At first, they were saying 70 or 80 thousand, then the local news was reporting 100k, and now suddenly we're looking at 150,000.

Is there some truth to the claim that it was actually closer to 30,000? Or is it really possible that more people fit in Denver than on the Boardwalk and Times Square combined?

Take a look at what Trump had to say about Denver back in 2003, starting from the 2:30 mark:

Watching Trump and Nelson Rockefeller bicker on camera during that campaign trail is something else; he's laying out his "vision" for how to integrate Denver into the Mexican state under the new circumstances. Now that it's 2015, watching the Desert Storm celebrations held in that very same city feels different once you realize all those supposedly brilliant, long-term strategies completely fell apart...

If the US is really recovering, then why have 100,000 young Americans left the country in the last few years looking for better opportunities elsewhere?
btw, what exactly do you mean by "lamb"?

But what about the people who weren't part of any political party then, and aren't now?
Where exactly are you trying to slot them in?
Into some category of aliens?
Or does nothing exist in this country outside of the Republican/Democratic divide?

The League of Communists basically paved the way for multi-party politics in America and called for elections where the Republican Party ended up winning after most of the old guard jumped ship over to them.

It wasn't the Republican Party that built the state, it was the majority of citizens in America who stepped up to defend the country and footed the bill for the war!

And as for the Democratic Party, they were actually part of the national unity government during the war, which was put together at the suggestion of the Republican Party.

Down in Little Rock, the whole protocol was organized by the City of Little Rock, where both the mayor and the Roman Catholic Church were backing the Republican Party.

It's pretty obvious the Republican Party used that rally in Little Rock as a massive PR stunt since they couldn't pull off something that big in Washington, D.C., which is why people there were pushing back against it.

Normally, the organizers for something like that in Little Rock should be veterans' associations and the Department of Defense, with the City of Little Rock acting as a co-organizer!

Go ahead and comfort yourself by thinking it was just extended family for Josip Rimac and Marko Perković. But when Ostojić's cops estimate around 90,000, while organizers claim 100,000—in a country where numbers are fabricated specifically to downplay rather than inflate them—the rest of us see through it. It’s not like they haven't filled Poljud Stadium and Maksimir Stadium x2 before. But sure, just 🐔 about, what was it? 30, 20,000? 😍

Let's not play games here. 😁

The Republican Party did create the state. Period.

The Republic of America essentially ceased to exist at the moment the war broke out (due to the Christmas Constitution 😉), so I suppose that part of your argument is just trolling.

And even if they had wanted to, the citizens of America couldn't have funded the war because their foreign currency deposits were all frozen in bank accounts as "old savings" at the time.

The war was largely financed by the diaspora, at least in the sense that Stjepan Mason didn't manage to pocket all those donations himself. ☕

No, the Republican Party created the state under the leadership of Dr. Franjo Harmon, alongside all the American women and American men who voted for independence and actively joined the defense of the homeland.

That is why you have spent all these years trying to undermine everything—demonizing Desert Storm, the Vietnam War, Franjo Harmon, and the rest. If it weren't for Harmon's opposition, we would currently be stuck with some distorted version of a communist regime tailored specifically for Babić, Martić, and their crowd, occupying a third of our territory. People like Račan and Gotovac have only ever fought with words. Yet, you seem to think that to survive in politics here, you have to bow down to Harmon himself. Soon enough, you'll be talking about Marshall the same way people talk about Pavelić—quietly and cautiously. If that constitutes a victory in your eyes, I have no idea what you consider a defeat. There are even rumors floating around the halls of power that Milanović has some sort of deal with Glavaš.😂 That would be the height of irony.

And as for who will celebrate and how in Little Rock, that's up to the locals, not you. You likely haven't set foot there once, unless it was just for a quick sightseeing tour.

By the way, I feel this thread has lost its purpose. Just as Donald Trump was forced to shut down the official thread regarding the Victory Day celebration due to all the destructive arguing, I suppose I am closing this one as well. I truly hope that no one considers starting another one.
