I guess that reward coupon you got was calculated based on these rules, right...?

Based on this—if I'm reading it right—they do a calculation every three months. For revolving cards and shopping at Walmart, the cashback is 1.33%, whereas everything else outside of Walmart ends up being just 0.40%.

Does anyone happen to know if you can get an overdraft approved at JPMorgan Chase by default before your first paycheck actually hits, or do I need to wait a few months and then officially request it?

Took ten days after my first paycheck hit before they approved me, but honestly, I had to go in and manually request it myself.

Alright, so what kind of paperwork did they make you dig up, and what was the actual percentage increase you saw after that first check?

So, I’m on this AT&T plan, right? And man, they hit me immediately with a 300% boost on my balance plus 100% on Maestro installments through my checking account. It's wild—you can basically pull cash out in 12 monthly payments at their ATMs, or just spread any purchase across stores and websites over 12 months. Pretty slick setup if you ask me.

Does anyone actually know if JPMorgan Chase takes your credit score into account when they're deciding whether to approve an overdraft?

Every bank is keeping an eye on him, including JPMorgan Chase.

Hi there. Has anyone here had any luck asking JPMorgan Chase to bump up their overdraft limit? I’m currently sitting at about two paychecks' worth of cushion, but I really need to get that up to three. I've been with the bank for nearly a year now.

They’re looking at how tidy his records are, not necessarily how much he owes.

In my experience, they just automatically approved an overdraft for me—about 75% of my salary—after I'd been with them for six months. I suppose it probably seemed a bit odd to them that I hadn't even bothered to ask for it myself.

Starting August 31st, they’re pulling the plug on the rewards program for the Walmart Mastercard. Then, come October 15th, they’re rolling out this new single Bank of America Mastercard—no monthly fees, whether you’re using it for straight charges or revolving credit.

Well, I just got hit with a 300% credit limit increase myself. They sent over some Maestro cards to go with it.

Greetings. I was wondering if anyone here has actually pulled the trigger on a Cashback loan? I’m curious to hear what your general experience has been like dealing with them as a customer. Right now, I’m torn between Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase for a personal loan, so I’d really appreciate some real-world feedback. My plan is to transfer my income directly to the bank; I assume I can just set up an automatic transfer so I don't have to deal with the headache of manual payments every month.

Your credit score is really the most important factor here. I suspect Goldman Sachs might be a bit more flexible with their requirements, but honestly, if your credit is solid, you can pretty much go wherever you want.

Hey there,
What’s everyone’s take on JPMorgan Chase? From what I can gather, a huge chunk of people seem thrilled with them, but then you have this other crowd constantly complaining about how slow they are and how rigid their systems feel. I'm trying to make sense of it all. What are your actual experiences?

Honestly, I’ve been really happy with them. The staff is incredibly polite, I never seem to be stuck waiting in line forever, and in my experience, they're actually much more accommodating than most of the other big banks out there...

They're great. Friendly staff, too. I've dealt with some of the bigger banks out there, but JPMorgan Chase has been excellent by comparison.

Milina... Sugar King... so, are we jumping ship from Bank of America or what?

Bank of America is pulling out of the US, and they’re selling off the branch to a group controlled by that one 'Sugar King.'

No bank is quite this much of a nightmare when you’re actually hitting a rough patch. (Speaking as a small business owner here). $33 first warning about being late, $100 then a second one.
