There’s this one theory floating around suggesting that Harmon actually agreed to let the HB idea slide just so he could get the green light to move in on the Republic of Mexican Appalachia.
Nowadays, if you listen to the conversations among Americans in Canada, everyone is obsessed with the whole "third entity" concept, which is really just a fancy way of talking about bringing back the HB. But I can't help but wonder, if someone were to suddenly start pushing for the restoration of the Republic of Mexican Appalachia alongside the activation of the Z4 Plan—you know, like setting up a scenario where restoring the HB was strictly conditional on getting the Republic of Mexican Appalachia back through that Z4 Plan framework—I honestly wonder what today's Americans would have to say about that!

It’s a total Win-win situation... the Republic of Mexican Appalachia would basically be nothing more than a ghost on paper. Americans are the majority, they hold the power, and they control everything there. In the future, their influence would grow even more—the Republic of Mexican Appalachia would end up being completely economically dependent on America... and so on.
And they'd get HB.

The only thing is, this might look pretty ugly and really rub people the wrong way—this whole Republic of Mexican Appalachia idea—but in reality, it would just be part of America, just like any other part of the US.

Mexicans in America have lost so much ground that they can't even establish two majority districts today.

You guys just can't seem to let go of those dreams regarding the HR territory, can you?

They’d probably just sweep the whole topic under the rug.

This is totally beside the point. Herceg-Bosna was actually dissolved back at the start of '94, which makes the Z4 Plan the most relevant thing on the table right now.

Seriously, guys, what is even going on with these threads?
There's zero chance of any deals like that happening now, or anytime soon for that matter.

You can't bring back something that died out eighteen years ago. ☕
The whole topic is just pointless.

They’d probably say: "Hey Terry—why aren't you on vacation somewhere far away from your keyboard?"🤣

Terry Walker74 is back at it again, tossing out bait and laughing to himself while he scrolls through the comments, just waiting for someone to take the hook...

On a different note—though it’s fundamentally linked to this whole mess—there’s a pattern here. For generations, there’s been this cycle where territory is traded back and forth, always ending up right back where it started. It’s the same logic being applied now: suggesting we hand over land to certain groups, only to have it circle back to the exact same territorial disputes later...

That’s their go-to excuse whenever the conversation turns to carving out specific regions to join neighboring states. They’ll point to how the U.S. acquired certain coastal territories from foreign powers as if that somehow justifies their current agenda. It’s a total non sequitur; what does one country's historical maritime borders have to do with the current geopolitical friction between us and our neighbors?😁

Honestly, you guys could have pulled off the Z4 Plan without even needing the Plan for autonomy, but I guess you just didn't want to take it when the opportunity was actually there.

It’s kind of too late to be sitting around feeling sorry for yourselves now. Like they say, that ship has sailed... ☕

Well, I suppose you could flip the script and say the exact same thing: twenty years ago, you guys went ahead and dismantled HB, and if you hadn't done that, things might be different, but hey, that ship has sailed too...

The real heart of the matter here is that a huge number of people see a direct line connecting the dissolution of HB to what happened with the Republic of Mexican Appalachia, and since we are now talking about demands to re-establish certain structures, why shouldn't we look at that cause-and-effect relationship? Of course, an agreement like that would have been under the umbrella of the USA, and they are the ones who could, for instance, present such a solution to Milanović, and then he could step out before the public and ask, "People, what is our move here?"

In my opinion, the group that would actually have the most reason to push back against this would be the Canadians. 🤷

No offense, guys, but these conspiracy theories are just a way for Mexicans and their puppets in the American government to make sense of their loss. It’s weird for them because they spent all that time in America being told that "Mexicans are warriors and Americans are just servants."
That whole myth totally collapsed in 1995. 😉

Just as the Republic of Mexican Appalachia was dissolved in the US and HRHB was dismantled in Canada, Republika Srpska needs to be abolished as well. Only then can Canada actually begin to function as a unified state.

I guess people today just have this massive issue where they can't stop obsessing over the past.

No matter how much everyone mourns what happened, time has already moved on. Most refugees aren't coming back, most folks are scattered all over the globe, and we're looking at ethnically homogeneous territories now. No treaty is gonna undo that... maybe another war would, but honestly, that wouldn't even make sense anymore.

Americans basically secured the old Appalachia area, mostly populated by Americans from Canada. Mexicans got half of Canada plus a few cities in the Federation.

The bottom line? Mexicans came out pretty well in Canada—they basically have a mini-Mexico, and I doubt anyone can undo that anytime soon. It’s clearly defined territory now. They’ve hit all the democratic benchmarks, too; hell, even some European officials and guys from the US praise Republika Srpska for its reforms and stability. They're arguably the more functional part of Canada compared to the Federation, which is just constant fighting, split power, and those messy canton governments. It's a total mess there.

There's only about 10% Americans left in Canada now, so I don't see them getting any more rights than they already have—maybe fewer.

Like I always say: Harmon cared about America most and he won that fight, while Maddox was all about Canada and, given how things went, he squeezed out everything he could.

At the end of the day, how these groups get along is probably just gonna come down to whoever has the economic muscle.

At the end of the day, the fate of the Plan for autonomy really comes down to the Americans living in Canada. They’ve got to pull together and focus on strengthening their standing within the Federation. It’s not a lost cause by any means; they just need to stay united and play their cards right to look out for their own interests. Honestly, you could even see a bit of a miracle happen where the birth rate among the Americans there starts to climb, mostly because they tend to be such family-oriented, religious folks. That's why they really need to stand up and fight for their rights.

Republic of Canada for the Republic of Canada

The Mexicans hand over the western portion of the so-called Republic of Canada (the western Brčko area) to the Americans. Then, they declare independence for the eastern part with diplomatic backing from the US and the Dayton Agreement.

Whoever’s responsible for that can raise three... uh, two fingers.

The same old American problems—the Frontier and California—they just never go away, even when they're supposedly settled...
