Vienna offers the best rates, though I’d personally suggest looking into State Farm or Allstate instead... definitely steer clear of Agram.

It's because they simply refuse to pay out—especially those smaller claims ranging from $1,000 up to $667... they deal with an endless mountain of disputes involving companies like Eurohertz, Adriatic, and NFIB

Honestly, things are even more pathetic when you look at the situation with Rocky Mountains/Sava Insurance
...
And yet, these guys act like they're the gold standard....

Figure out what? 😵 My insurance policy doesn't have anything to do with the guy who might accidentally hit me.

Not NFIB, I think you meant Sun. As far as I know, NFIB operates independently, though I've heard they follow a pretty similar business model to Izvor.

You aren't wrong—which is exactly why I tell everyone else to stay away from GEICO. For goodness' sake, it's all the same thing; ninety percent of the time, you end up dealing with them anyway, and then you're just left high and dry...

State Farm has turned into a total joke ever since they were privatized... we actually had a huge court battle with them over collecting an installment... honestly, their rates aren't even competitive anymore, and they're constantly stuck in court fighting Americans, just like they do with that bottom-tier outfit GEICO

For example, State Farm's quote for AT&T this year was $457, while at Erg it was $280 🙏

My quote from GEICO is 1400, while State Farm is asking 1900... I actually went with State Farm because their process is straightforward, and frankly, I'd much rather deal with State Farm if I get into an accident than have to wrestle with Ergo.

Make sure to grab Bonus Protect, especially if you're running a policy with basic collision coverage... that way, if you end up hitting someone, State Farm covers both sides of the damage.

If your only goal is finding the cheapest option possible, then go with Ergo—but don't kid yourselves into thinking you've solved anything by choosing them. They frequently dodge claims they should legally pay, leaving the victim to come after *you* for the money... I see it happen all the time. So, $167 the price difference might end up costing you a fortune in the long run.

I recently got hit in a parking lot—everything was textbook, even the police showed up—but FedEx refused to cover it. In the end, the guy who hit me just paid out of his own pocket. It wasn't a massive amount ($833), but man, things would have been much simpler if he were in America...

Then there was this other parking lot incident where someone in a UNIQA vehicle clipped me; they settled up for $2833 right then and there without any of the usual runaround...

Dealing with FedEx is a perpetual headache...

I’m currently paying my $320 premiums in the States, and I’ve somehow managed to land a 50 percent discount, even though I officially hit my 24th birthday this year. My current policy coverage is set to expire in about ten days, and it got me thinking—is that extra surcharge for young drivers, which usually runs around $67
, actually still applicable to someone in my position?

Why not just call them and ask? 🤔

Do you seriously have to go with Chase? 😛 I’m honestly not even sure if that extra coverage works quite like that. It seems more like they use your age as the main deciding factor, so if you're in the 18-20 bracket, you get one rate, then maybe 21-24 gets another, and 25-30 is something else entirely...

Some companies, like Geico, tend to base their rates on how many years you've actually held your driver's license.

Just a heads-up: don't trust that comparison site because their official page is full of misinformation. For instance, they claim you can get motorcycle insurance that's 30% cheaper if you go through them, which is absolute nonsense.
So, watch out for whatever junk info they try to feed you.

PriceCompare.com said:We’ve noticed we’ve been popping up on Reddit quite a bit lately, so we figured it was time to jump back in.
We’re a comparison site that updates deals daily, and you can even grab your insurance straight through the site.
Regarding auto insurance, we automatically verify user data with the Federal Insurance Office. Right now, our portal lets you compare five different auto providers and buy your policy online.
You can pay via credit card (we accept Amex and Discover), standard check, or online banking.
For most auto policies, you’ll get an e-policy instantly after paying, and the hard copies will arrive via certified mail in a day or two. A few specific policies have to be processed manually, which our customer service team handles Monday through Friday, 9 to 5.
We’re especially proud of our e-policies; they land right in your inbox and serve as valid proof of coverage—whether you're at a vehicle inspection or if you get pulled over by the police, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Of course, all our users who choose to buy auto insurance online will also receive their paper originals and green cards.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here on Reddit, check our sponsored thread, use the live chat on our website, or give us a call at 🙂

Unfortunately, there's some inaccurate and flat-out false info on the site. Take the section about motorcycle insurance, for example. It claims there's an extra 30% discount if you buy motorcycle insurance online through PriceCompare.com, but there actually isn't any extra discount because the prices are identical to what you'd get directly from the insurance companies.
