What's interesting to you here?

The fact that most religious people have heads full of creationist nonsense, conspiracy theories, Masonic myths, and other superstitions (not that atheists are immune, but there's less of it). Why isn't it the other way around? 🙂

I mean, if religious folks are in such direct, intimate contact with Reality and God, wouldn't that clear their heads? Wouldn't it make them more grounded, objective, and better at using both their brains and hearts?

Instead, even just on this forum, we run into believers pushing insane fringe theories, various superstitions, getting hyped over psychics and their wild hallucinations, predictions of the apocalypse, or seeing Jesus in a barrel or a rag.

What's the takeaway here?
Does dealing with God enlighten them or just cloud their judgment? 🙄

Americans really can claim him, though. He was born here, grew up here, and did his schooling among us... his roots are firmly planted in America.

🤷So, what exactly are those "other circles" supposed to be proud of?

It’s common knowledge at this point. We're talking about a brilliant engineer and inventor, not some academic scientist.

Way better than dealing with that (insane) majority.

I'm not trying to be negative here. Honestly, everyone in the world should celebrate him. It’s just that somehow, people try to label him as "Mexican" while stripping away his "American" identity. Whatever the case, everyone wants a piece of him, pulling him toward their own side and being incredibly selective about how they view his thoughts and his life...

Tesla never actually said or wrote that.

🙂 That's just hilarious. It’s a setup. Just some New Age con artist that naive theists love to spread all over the internet, along with a bunch of other total jokes. 🙂

All we know is that this guy Nikola Draganić, aka Tesla, actually had the nerve to claim in his autobiography that he wanted to be a priest for Lord Jesus—he’d have withered away like a dead plant. He spent all that time hanging out with the great atheist Mark Twain, yet there isn't a single record of him ever praising God or mentioning any kind of deity.

Back to square one again: just a bunch of people playing at religion and expecting miracles from God, while being completely blinded by their own ignorance.

See ya, dear.

Excerpt from an 1899 interview with Nikola Tesla

...

REPORTER: You mentioned that I, like every living thing, am Light. That's flattering, but I have to admit, I don't quite follow.

TESLA: Why should it be clear to you, Mr. Smith? It is enough that you believe it. Everything is Light. Within a single beam lies the destiny of nations; every nation has its own beam within that great source of light we perceive as the Sun. And remember: no man who ever lived has truly died. They have simply transformed into Light and continue to exist as such. The secret lies in those particles of light returning to their primal state.

REPORTER: That sounds like resurrection!

TESLA: I prefer to call it: Returning to a previous form of energy. Christ and others knew this secret. I have been searching for ways to preserve human energy. It is a form of Light, sometimes equal to the supreme celestial light. I didn't seek this for my own sake, but for the good of all. I believe my discoveries will make life easier and more bearable for people, guiding them toward spirituality and morality. -- "Per aspera ad astra"

Morgan Brown5 As I was saying—and I do mean this with the utmost sincerity—it’s like we’re all just stumbling through the dark without a flashlight. People seem to think that everything is straightforward, but if you actually sit down and look at the mechanics of how things function, you realize how much we've overlooked. It reminds me of that one time back in Chicago when I was trying to fix my old radiator—just a complete mess of pipes and outdated logic—and I realized that most people would rather ignore the leak than actually learn how the pressure works. We see the surface, sure, but we miss the underlying structure. It's frustrating, honestly. You try to point out the obvious connections, the way one thing inevitably leads to another, and you get met with blank stares. It's enough to make a person want to just walk away from the conversation entirely.
And you’re doing the exact same thing—just projecting your own "conspiracy theory" labels onto everyone else. It’s funny, really—how people always jump to that conclusion whenever someone presents an idea that doesn't fit their narrow little worldview. I remember back in college, sitting in a lecture hall in Chicago, watching some professor dismiss a perfectly valid scientific inquiry just because it sounded too radical for the status quo... it's a tired pattern. You see it everywhere. Instead of actually engaging with the substance of what's being said, it's much easier to just slap a label on it and call it a "theory" to shut down the conversation. It's lazy, frankly. 😕

Catch you later, my friend.

An interview with Nikola Tesla from 1899 (excerpt)

...

JOURNALIST: You told me that I, just like every other living creature, am Light. I have to say, that’s quite the compliment—though, if I’m being perfectly honest, I’m still trying to wrap my head around what exactly you mean by that.

TESLA: Why on earth should it even be obvious to you, Mr. Smith? Honestly, you just need to have faith in it. Everything—and I mean everything—is Light. Within a single beam of that radiance lies the entire destiny of a people; every nation carries its own unique ray within that massive, blinding source we perceive as the Sun. And please, for heaven's sake, remember this: no human being who has ever walked this earth has truly died. They haven't. They simply transitioned into Light, and in that state, they continue to exist. It’s all right there in the mechanics of it—the secret lies in those particles of light returning to their original, primal state.

JOURNALIST: Now that is what I call a resurrection!

Tesla: Personally, I prefer to call it something else—I see it as tapping back into one of our primordial energy sources. Christ and a few others certainly held that secret close to their chests. I’ve spent my life hunting for ways to preserve human energy; after all, it's just another form of Light, sometimes indistinguishable from the supreme celestial radiance above us. I haven't been chasing this for my own ego or any personal gain—goodness, no—it's for the collective good. I truly believe that once my findings come to light, they will make life significantly easier and more bearable for everyone, ultimately nudging humanity back toward spirituality and moral clarity. — "Per aspera ad astra"

...

Based on what Tesla said, you really have to conclude that he was a follower of Rudolf Steiner. It points to one thing—he was an anthroposophist.

"Once science spends just ten years focusing on non-physical phenomena, it will advance more than it did in its entire existence up to that point" — that says a lot about his atheism (or perhaps just how little some people actually know)...

Science hasn't just been stuck in the realm of the physical for a long time now—it’s been poking around non-physical phenomena for ages. I’ve heard people claim that massive amounts of taxpayer money have been poured into this—specifically for those weird military parapsychology programs they run behind closed doors. But honestly? Looking at the actual data, the results are nothing short of pathetic. If any of these "experts" were actually onto something, someone would have walked away with a million dollars by now... and let's be real, nobody has ever handed that kind of cash to Randy.

Anthony Perez9 As if I haven't heard this all before—it’s like listening to a broken record. Honestly, I’ve spent far too much time sitting in my study, nursing a lukewarm cup of coffee, reading through these endless threads only to find the same tired arguments resurfacing again and again. It’s exhausting. You think you’re finally making progress, digging deeper into the actual substance of a discussion, and then someone comes along with this half-baked perspective that lacks any real foundation. It’s frustrating, truly. I remember back when I was working in Chicago—just a simple job, nothing fancy—and I dealt with people just like this every single day. They’d walk into the room with such unearned confidence, insisting they were right despite having absolutely no data to back it up. It’s a pattern. A predictable, wearying pattern. And frankly, I'm getting a bit tired of playing the role of the one who has to point out the obvious flaws in these logic loops. We should be aiming higher than this, shouldn't we? Instead, we just circle the drain.
Tesla never actually said that—nor did he ever put it down in any of his writings. Honestly, people love to attach these wild, sweeping statements to him just to make their own arguments sound more profound, but if you actually dig through his papers, the claim simply isn't there. It’s one of those things that gets repeated so often you start to believe it's gospel, but let's stick to the actual record, shall we?

🙂 This is just some ridiculous hoax cooked up by some New Age liar—something naive theists love to spread all over the internet, along with countless other absurdities. 🙂

What we actually know is that the man himself, Nikola Draganić, known as Tesla, supposedly toyed with the idea of becoming a priest for Mr. Jesus (if you believe his autobiography)—though he’d have withered away like a dried-up plant before ever stepping foot in a church. And he spent a great deal of time associating with the great atheist Mark Twain; yet, there isn't a single record of him praising God, mentioning any Mr. Jesus, or bowing down to some Greek or Hindu deity.

Which brings us right back to the point about the blindness, ignorance, and sheer superstition of so many people who claim to deal with God while expecting Him to perform on command...

Why so much, Morgan Brown5?

You have to realize that "New Agers" aren't some monolith. They believe in parapsychology, sure, but that doesn't mean they all believe in God. You can absolutely be a New Ager and an atheist. In fact, some are pretty hardcore atheists. Just look at this guy in the picture: 😁

Check out what our buddy Thoth wrote about this:

Thoth said:Yeah, total fake. The text mentions relativity, but that didn't even exist until 1916. This is supposedly from 1899. 🙂

Plus, nobody even knew the concept of a black hole before the 1920s.

Besides, Tesla wouldn't just ditch logic like he does in this "interview."

I'm sure there are more holes, but I can't be bothered to dig right now.

The whole thing is garbage. I don't know who wrote it, but it's just another one of those endless conspiracy theory/New Age/hocus-pocus scams. And a pretty amateurish one at that.

Where would we be if people didn't use their heads and think critically? Probably stuck in some cultist crowd churning out propaganda like this, trying to justify their dogmas by putting words in Tesla's mouth that he'd never actually say.

The only thing that might be off here is the interview date 🙂. Otherwise, relativity has been around since the days of Roger Boscovich back in the 18th century—he was really the one who laid the groundwork. Then Einstein kind of muddied the waters, before he and Mileva officially published it around 1905, if I recall correctly. It's hard to say who's actually pulling the strings, but everyone seems to be steering it in their own direction...

Here is what someone who has spent a lifetime studying his work has to say about Tesla. Many consider him the world's leading expert on Tesla and his legacy. Our own opinion stays tucked away in the shadows, no matter how much we disagree...

Give it a rest already, for God's sake! 🙂 🙂

The text was written by American poet and playwright Stevan Pešić: "Tesla or the Angel's Adaptation".
So, it's just someone's fantasy.

Here’s what someone who studied his work for years has to say about Tesla—apparently, they're considered the leading expert on him globally. Our own opinion stays way out in the cold, no matter how much we disagree.

There is no God but Man. God doesn't exist, but humanity does.

It's not like American institutes or academies give a damn about Randy. 🙂

The guy isn't bothered by skepticism, just like thousands of others aren't...

He was focused on something else entirely through the messages he was sending...

God, the sheer amount of nonsense and rambling coming from your "great" guy... it's enough to give you a headache.

THE DARK WIZARDS AT CERN!
😂

A textbook case of paranoia and conspiracy theories.
Your compatriot is unwell. Tell him to get some help.

Maybe if I could actually take you seriously 🙂 .. wiki-persona

Stevan Pešić actually drew inspiration for this drama from a real interview... back in 1899, Nikola Tesla sat down with "Immortality" magazine at his lab in Colorado Springs to talk shop...

A wiki-persona really ought to put in a bit more reading if they actually want to learn something. The way this guy is going about it is just unprofessional... see you at the next exam cycle. 😍

I'm curious, honestly, but the scammers are running away from Randy like the plague. 😂

I don't give a damn about those Russian "institutes" peddling pseudoscience and clickbait. I’ll stick to Western science any day.

This guy couldn't care less about anyone's skepticism, just like thousands of others out there.

Everyone fell for Randy's act and got exposed as total frauds. Honestly, it’s no wonder they "don't care." lol

Sai Baba was a predator, plain and simple. One of the most successful con artists out there... and just like all the others, he finally hit rock bottom.

He was actually looking for something else entirely in that message.

The theory is that he’s been slowly working his way through several spots on his back over the years, basically carving out these skin tunnels—fistulas. Then his assistant just "pokes" right through those openings where the skin has healed over. Just look at his back... he's only "aiming" through those specific holes.

Anthony Perez9 said:Yeah, right. People over there try to claim him as their own, just like they do with anyone else who isn't actually from there or hasn't even set foot in the country. Just another nationalistic myth in a long line of them.

Of course he was an world-class inventor (atheist), someone who couldn't have cared less about nationality or local border disputes. I mean, didn't his passport clearly state he was from the old territory?

Anyway, back to the topic:

Why did you dodge the whole part about creationism, conspiracy theories, Masonic plots, and all those other superstitions that theists love so much? Isn't it true that God gives them a little extra insight and grants them some kind of knowledge "that us atheists just can't grasp"?

I was using you as the prime example of one of those "bros."😉

Buddy, what is actually wrong with you?

"I may say, also, that I am deeply religious at heart, although not in the orthodox meaning.."

Nikola Tesla

What part of that is confusing?

Look, the answer is pretty straightforward: God just isn't real.

I mean, how else do you explain this whole privileged class of priests? They’re basically outsiders who don't actually do anything besides drain everyone else's resources.

Would an all-powerful, all-knowing being really let his flock be led by creeps and shady characters?

And would someone that powerful seriously let other people start wars in his name?

Honestly, just imagine the total chaos we'd be dealing with on planet Earth if someone hadn't cooked up this whole story about the afterlife and blah, blah, blah. I mean, look at a place like the US—even with such a huge Christian population, it feels like absolute hell on earth because of all these fake Christians and their cronies. Where does all the immorality, the lies, and the evil even come from in a place that's supposed to be so religious?

"I may say, also, that I am deeply religious at heart, although not in the Orthodox meaning, and that I give myself to the constant enjoyment of believing that the greatest mysteries of our being are still to be fathomed and that, all the evidence of the senses and the teachings of exact and dry sciences to the contrary notwithstanding, death itself may not be the termination of the wonderful metamorphoses we witness."

The unclear part is that you didn't even quote the full sentence.🙂
