Paul Anderson2 said:First off, evolution and the Big Bang aren't even the same thing.

And second, how do you even know all this? Where are you getting this info?

I mean, what kind of "mathematical proof" could that even be?? 🤷

Maybe try using fewer capital letters and exclamation points... feels a bit like you're shouting...

🤔 he seems to think they are... perhaps because there is no evolution without reproduction, and reproduction requires... well, certain biological urges... and when someone really lets loose, maybe that's the Big Bang... I suppose that's how mathematical formulas are born too... haha

We are free to think whatever we please, but there is only one Truth. How are we supposed to uncover that Truth? We simply can't, not unless those who are older than us (beings existing both inside and outside our universe) permit it. And once they do grant us permission, you won't find yourselves believing in fairy tales about the Big Bang, Evolution, or some Eternal Being anymore. That is when you will finally "grow up" and become much wiser, allowing you to actually comprehend things when those beings send a message or reveal the Truth about ourselves and them. Best regards

So, tell me, have you actually experienced the Big Bang firsthand??

The whole time this thread has been sitting here with the question "Why doesn't God share His knowledge" in the title, God has actually been doing it himself. Through all the church holidays, prayers, and literal devotionals—and I mean literally—He shares the most intimate details about who He is...

Might as well just grab a rope and hang myself...

And just how exactly do you plan on proving a negative?

Nobody’s ever seen or heard him, so can you prove God exists?

I’m telling you there’s a six-headed dragon living in the sky that breathes fire and pees rain... can you prove that dragon isn't real?

I am under no obligation to assert His existence.
The absence of visual evidence for aliens doesn't serve as a logical proof of their nonexistence, does it?
Historically, people in Europe were entirely unaware of America and possessed absolutely no empirical evidence of its reality, yet the continent was there all along, regardless of their ignorance.

So what if God actually does exist?

What difference does it make to your actual life? Personally, I'd say none, which is basically just atheism. If you're a believer, sure, you'll start rambling about how God dictates your every move, lighting candles and acting like it's a sin to live like He isn't there.

The whole "does He exist" debate is pretty much useless—just a way for theologians to spin their wheels. What matters is how you view that Being in your own head and how that shapes what you do. That’s what faith really is.

So, how do you actually prove your God's attributes or the way he works?
To me, it looks like a massive delusion—getting high on your own supply of logic and emotion, mixed with centuries of overthinking by theologians. ☕

People, you still have enough time to make it to church—there's about half an hour left. Haha. Get off the internet; maybe then God will actually grant you some wisdom.

Atheists don't actually claim God doesn't exist,😉

Nobody has seen an alien, does that mean they don't exist?

Have you ever seen an atom? I know you haven't, but does that mean atoms aren't real? You've never "seen" gravity either—by your logic, it probably doesn't exist. Why don't you test that by jumping off a fifty-meter bridge?

People in Europe didn't know about America for a long time.

People all over the world didn't know about Yahweh-Jesus-Allah for a long time either.

nor did they have any proof that it existed,

Nor did they have any concept of this sick idea until crackpots like you infested this planet...

but it existed nonetheless.

Yahweh-Jesus-Allah might exist, but only inside the delusional minds of certain people.😉

Well, at least that’s progress, because based on some of the comments here, it seems like some people don't even have that much going on in their heads.😛

Where exactly am I claiming that atheists make such an assertion?
Austin Martinez20 insists that He simply isn't there.😉
Frankly, the rest of this rambling text is just a collection of nebulous nonsense that fails to address my actual questions.
Consider this the final post I'll be dedicating to you.

If God exists, the fundamental nature of everything shifts.

Because He provided the laws by which we are meant to live.

He gave them because He is older and wiser than we are.

It’s quite similar to how an adult is more knowledgeable than a small child, who might reach for a hot stove simply because they don't understand the consequence of being burned.

If God did not exist, it would be a staggering injustice that some are born into wealth while others face poverty, some are healthy while others are ill, some are beautiful while others are less so, some are brilliant while others are not—and so on.

However, since this life is not everything, and because there will be a period in ETERNAL LIFE that stands in total opposition to our current reality, we cannot speak of injustice occurring here on Earth.

Jesus says that those who are first on Earth will be last, and those who are last will be first.

Nothing ever actually changes.
Honestly, everything is just one big constant flux. Change is the only thing that actually sticks.

Because He’s the one who laid down the laws we live by.

Don't make me laugh.
Stone the guy gathering sticks in the desert on a Saturday. Burn the girl because she had sex before marriage. Kill anyone who worships any God other than Yahweh!

He handed them over because he’s older and smarter than the rest of us.

Lol. He’s got this massive, long white beard.

Just like how you're supposedly smarter than a toddler who touches a hot stove because they don't realize it'll burn them.

Are there even any smart analogies left...

If God didn't exist, the sheer unfairness of the whole setup would be too much to handle—some people born into wealth while others struggle, some blessed with health and looks while others get the short end of the stick. It just wouldn't add up.

No way.
If life is a gift, there’s zero logic in whining about how unfair it all is. It’s like giving a kid a toy only for them to cry that it’s "unfair" once it breaks.

Why do we only have five fingers on each hand? Total rip-off. We really should've had six.

Since this life isn't everything, there’ll be a time in the afterlife that's the total opposite of this mess, so you can't really complain about injustice on Earth.

Whatever.

Jesus says...

Nothing. Jesus didn't say that. Some random Greeks wrote that he was God's son and that he used to preach or whatever.

It’s like they say: the ones who were first on Earth will be last, and those who were last will end up being first. Life's just one big circle.

So those are your aliens again? The oldest ones in existence? lol

Cheers

Fundamentally, the only thing that changes is that you feel obligated to show up at Mass because God exists. Or maybe a mosque. Or a temple. Then again, you could follow the path of a Native American and believe in a God of nature, spending your Sundays hiking through Yosemite. Or you could believe in a God who demands absolutely nothing from you. If He wants nothing, then honestly, whether He exists or not becomes a moot point. You can still go trekking through Yosemite regardless of His existence.

As for why some folks have everything while others have nothing? I suppose that's just God's will. Or perhaps it isn't his will at all—maybe it's just cold, hard statistics.

And maybe the last will truly be last, and the last will be... well, last. 😁

😂 If God doesn't exist, nothing fundamentally changes. You’ll still be stuck spinning your wheels and talking absolute nonsense, won't you? 😂

Because He handed down the laws we’re required to live by.

😂 Of course it isn't.

He handed them over simply because he’s older and sharper than any of us. It's basic common sense.

😂 Please, don't compare him to Tovar. That guy was a fool, sure, but at least he lived in an era before the internet—back then, he could actually look people in the eye and tell them the truth about things being round. 🙂

That’s like saying you're smarter than a toddler reaching for a glowing stove burner just because he doesn't realize it'll burn him.

Oh, please. What exactly makes him smarter? Because he can hide invisibly above the clouds? Give me a break.

If God didn't exist, the sheer injustice of this world would be unbearable. It’s a total lottery where some people are born into massive wealth while others struggle to survive, some are gifted with perfect health while others face constant illness, and some are blessed with beauty or intellect while others aren't. Without a higher power, that kind of cosmic unfairness is just senseless.

If only things would actually happen when they're supposed to. It’s like waiting for a delayed flight at JFK—you just sit there staring at the departures board, knowing nothing is moving. God exists! It would be an immeasurable injustice if some people were punished in this life only to face retribution again in the next. If that’s the kind of God we're talking about, then frankly, such a deity is just plain sadistic.

Since this life isn't everything, there will be a period in eternal life that is the complete opposite of our current reality. You can't cry injustice on Earth when the full picture hasn't even been revealed yet.

😂

Jesus said that those who are first on Earth will be last, and those who are last will be first. It’s a total reversal of everything we think we know about status.

Look, Jesus basically tells you to cut off your junk and live a life of total misery just to make it into the "eternal hunting grounds," so why wouldn't you just listen? If that's the deal, why is the Pope swimming in gold instead of actually following Jesus's example of living in poverty?

- all this talk about God-Jesus

Best,

lol

Why doesn't God share His knowledge? Hmmm—I can see three distinct possibilities here.
1) He could, but chooses not to. In that case, He would be inherently malicious and cruel.

2) He lacks the knowledge—meaning man might actually be more perceptive than Him, having clawed his way toward understanding through sheer suffering—or perhaps He simply lacks the power (implying He isn't omnipotent).

3) There is no God.

Personally, I am inclined to believe the third option is the correct one.
