So, here’s the deal on why gold takes a dive whenever Ben starts talking.

I know most Americans get burned financially by this because, as usual with any investment, they only jump into gold when it's already sitting right at the peak.

I can still remember the media hype from just two years ago, when every news outlet was screaming about gold and how everyone needed to buy in.

For most people, it was a total scam. They didn't enter gold as long-term investors—those folks were rare to begin with—but they were forced to become long-term holders simply because they got stuck holding the bag.

Is gold going up in the long run? Without a shadow of a doubt, yes. But we'll all be dead by the time that happens. We aren't seeing $3,000, $5,000, or tens of thousands of US Dollars per ounce anytime soon.

If you ask me, most Americans bailed on gold over the last two years.

Pretty weak, honestly... I was expecting way more from this.
Maybe go check the US Mint website and see if there are any actual silver bullion coins left for sale, or if they just flushed the whole stock down the toilet.

And trying to talk spot prices? I might as well walk into a Dolatz with a box of condoms and ask the cashier what's going on.
She’d probably just snap at me, calling me some kind of shady criminal for even asking about those fake market bubbles, like, damn, who has the energy for that nonsense...
Or maybe she's just some retiree who can't tell the difference between a local apple and an import, even though she’s been stocking the same stuff forever.

So, what's your poison?

It’s always the same story: the crowd buys when things are expensive, never when they're cheap. Every indicator out there—sentiment, COT data, the gold-to-miners ratio, $BPGDM—all point to gold being bottomed out or right at the floor. Realistic scenario? It hits $1570-$1575 and stalls. The other option is a tiny dip, but there isn't much room to drop below that $1555 level from the other day. The only real risk is if it breaks below $1555, which might drag it toward $1523—but even then, big money will likely hunt for stops right around $1523. Whatever this "correction" ends up being, expect a jump toward $1900 shortly after.

lonehawk5, you still waiting for $1530? Still planning on picking up that 20% stake?

Still waiting... though I'm trading the swings in the meantime.
I'm not being super rigid about my entry price... if it looks like the drop is finally over, I'll happily pay a few bucks more to get in.

Thank God!
Vidin isn't even around right now, and I honestly just totally screwed myself thinking—I guess I figured that big guy... you know... Charles was gone.
The agency basically stripped him bare... some kind of short on that... clock thing or whatever.
That bearded American guy and his whole crew from the streets is just gonna wreck him.
Anyway, take care of yourself... hope this lasts a while.

I'll pop in every now and then... just to see how your little predictions are doing.
What’s the magic number today? $2,000, $5,000, $30,000?...☕

Thanks😉

As far as I can tell, Jim Sinclair called gold at $1,500 back when it was trading at just $300—so his insights carry a lot more weight than those folks who have been screaming that gold is a bubble for the last decade...😂

I’m telling you, gold is hitting $7,500 easy. I know you believe that, and honestly, everyone else on this board does too. But here's the kicker—nobody actually knows when. Is it happening at the 1g level? The 5g? Maybe the 100g bars? We all know the price is headed north, but without a timeline, what good is our credibility?

I’ve been watching these analysts for a while now, and I can't shake the feeling that Sinclair just has the most incredible track record. Sure, he misses the mark on the exact timing all the time... but his excuse is always the same: those crooked bankers are manipulating the markets, but they won't be able to hold it much longer. He’s been preaching about a gold bull market since the 70s. Look, if you've been playing the markets for 40 years and you're constantly calling the same direction, eventually, you're gotta be right, right?

It’s all just a rigged game
A year ago, an ounce was sitting at $1,700
And now? It’s down to $1,600—that’s a nearly 6% drop right there. So, the person who bought in $333 is currently staring at a loss $20, while someone who just kept that cash in a high-yield savings account actually has $17 more
than they started with.
Gold has been all over the place these last few years—sometimes for good reasons, sometimes just pure nonsense, so
everything else is garbage besides taking a leak🤣

First off, I don't agree with the assumption that gold is a guaranteed $7,500.....🤣 Nothing is ever a guarantee.........

Second, I don't follow Sinclair to get specific timing for speculation... but you shouldn't dismiss someone who has been right for 12 years straight just because his critics—who have been wrong the whole time—think he might be wrong tomorrow.........

As for what you said regarding Sinclair constantly shouting that gold will hit $10,000... the critics have been shouting for 12 years that gold is a bubble. Either way, sooner or later, someone is going to be right. It’s just a matter of at what price level........they just need to stay persistent and stick to their forecast. 😂

PS: You're underselling him by claiming he's been consistently bullish since the '70s........from what I've seen, the man was actively selling in 1980-1981—he recently noted that the banks made their biggest profits on the gold parabola from '79 to '80.........the man isn't stupid, and if he had that intel... he certainly cashed out. After that, he turned bullish again in 2000 when gold was sitting around $250-$300.

What I find interesting is how everyone is obsessed with gold prices—not just here, but in all the major financial outlets—while they completely ignore the massive bubble BlackBerry inflated in its equity... currently, alongside bonds, that represents one of the largest bubbles in the entire market. 😉

And they’re doing this right in the middle of a massive secular bear market. It's wild that people actually believe you can just print money and wave a magic wand to fix all the massive problems that have been swept under the rug for the last 30 years.

On the flip side, history shows that Ben can use unknown to influence the stock market for a little while, and traders are obviously going to play that circus as long as it lasts. Both stocks and gold hold value, but if you ask me, stocks are more "authentic" because they actually generate new value. Right now, stocks are bloated from unknown, while gold took a hit right when the unknown started. It's just a matter of days or weeks before the narrative flips—everyone will be claiming a stock market crash is impossible because Ben will just pump more liquidity to soften the blow.
