I'm not being super rigid about my entry price... if it looks like the drop is finally over, I'll happily pay a few bucks more to get in.

Since you haven't doubled down yet, I'm guessing you're bracing for a dip. Or maybe you've flipped your position and you're just waiting on Jim Sinclair's birthday like some kind of 🙄

On the flip side, history shows that Ben can use unknown to influence the stock market for a little while, and traders are obviously going to play that circus as long as it lasts. Both stocks and gold hold value, but if you ask me, stocks are more "authentic" because they actually generate new value. Right now, stocks are bloated from unknown, while gold took a hit right when the unknown started. It's just a matter of days or weeks before the narrative flips—everyone will be claiming a stock market crash is impossible because Ben will just pump more liquidity to soften the blow.

There aren't many ways to fix debt. Erasing it through inflation is probably the least painful route. If you want an alternative, go look at what's happening in Europe.

On the flip side, history shows that Ben can use unknown measures to influence the stock market for a while, and traders are obviously going to play that circus while the music is still playing.

In that sense, this "money printer" guy has been manipulating capital markets for five years now—half a decade. If he's been doing it for five years, he'll be doing it for another five.

Both stocks and gold hold value, but if you ask me, stocks are more authentic because they actually generate new value.

I'm with you on that!

Right now, stocks are bloated thanks to unknown stimulus, while gold took a hit right when that stimulus kicked in. The big question is whether we're days or weeks away from a pivot, where the stock market avoids a total crash because Ben will just pump more money in to soften the blow.

We've been hearing this exact same thing for five years. For five long years, the same group of people has been preaching about the inevitable collapse of everything except gold, and how gold is destined to moon. None of it has happened. It's just the same tired story on repeat.

Can you guys just leave us alone for one year with these failed predictions? 🙂

Where I come from, repeating a lie or a stupidity a hundred times doesn't make it the truth on the 101st time. 😁

Honestly, when someone who spends their life preaching socialism asks a question like that, you know exactly what time it is for the gold market. It’s a tell. 🤣

Come on, man. Give me an answer that actually makes sense here. I’m not talking about people living paycheck to paycheck who have to pawn off family heirlooms just to eat. I'm talking about people trying to grow their wealth.

They jumped in because they saw gold prices climbing without end, fueled by nothing but massive media hype.

People took their extra cash—money they didn't blow on junk—and parked it in gold. Now, for over a year, they aren't seeing gains; they're staring at losses.

These folks didn't buy in because they're "gold believers" or because they worship the metal like some of the zealots on this forum do. They bought in to make a profit. They were short-term speculators, plain and simple. It was the market's volatility and their own lack of insight that forced them into being long-term holders against their will.

quiettrucker12 said:It’s always the same story: the crowd buys when things are expensive, never when they're cheap. Every indicator out there—sentiment, COT data, the gold-to-miners ratio, $BPGDM—all point to gold being bottomed out or right at the floor. Realistic scenario? It hits $1570-$1575 and stalls. The other option is a tiny dip, but there isn't much room to drop below that $1555 level from the other day. The only real risk is if it breaks below $1555, which might drag it toward $1523—but even then, big money will likely hunt for stops right around $1523. Whatever this "correction" ends up being, expect a jump toward $1900 shortly after.

lonehawk5, you still waiting for $1530? Still planning on picking up that 20% stake?

Anything is possible, really. Like someone else pointed out, we all know gold is headed up in the long run. But let’s be honest—in the "long run," we’re all dead anyway.

When will gold hit $2,000, $4,000, $8,000, or even $160,000? Nobody knows. One thing is certain: one day, it *will* be worth $160,000. But none of you gold bugs are going to be around to gloat about it when that day finally rolls around.

Charles, are you still holding out for $1,530? Are you still planning on picking up that extra 20%?

Whenever someone brings up "cartels," I think of those malicious types who mess with the heads of top-tier experts—the same experts who, by today's standards, should have had gold priced well above $3,000 already.

I honestly can't wrap my head around it. Why do some people here spend their entire lives grinding away, typing out the exact same tired talking points over and over again? It’s like listening to a broken record that someone forgot to fix. We've heard these same arguments a million times already. Seriously, get some new material.

If you’ve already pulled the trigger on some gold, then shut your mouth and sit tight. Just wait for the price to climb—and believe me, without a shadow of a doubt, it’s coming.

I honestly don't get why everyone is obsessing over these conspiracy theories about market manipulation. It’s exhausting. The truth is much more blunt: most people here don't even grasp the absolute basics of economics, let alone how the gold market actually functions.

If they actually understood what they were doing, they wouldn't have bought gold at the absolute peak. Now they’re just sitting there staring at red numbers. Just because their investment eventually breaks even doesn't mean they have any clue how the gold market actually works. Luck isn't expertise.

To all you gold bugs out there: take a long nap. Seriously, go ahead and settle in for a winter slumber, because that "five minutes away" hype you keep peddling isn't going anywhere. You'll be waiting forever. And when we finally decide it’s time to wake you up? Well, we'll be the ones to tell you. 😁

Patrick Moore3 said:I’m telling you, gold is hitting $7,500 easy. I know you believe that, and honestly, everyone else on this board does too. But here's the kicker—nobody actually knows when. Is it happening at the 1g level? The 5g? Maybe the 100g bars? We all know the price is headed north, but without a timeline, what good is our credibility?

I’ve been watching these analysts for a while now, and I can't shake the feeling that Sinclair just has the most incredible track record. Sure, he misses the mark on the exact timing all the time... but his excuse is always the same: those crooked bankers are manipulating the markets, but they won't be able to hold it much longer. He’s been preaching about a gold bull market since the 70s. Look, if you've been playing the markets for 40 years and you're constantly calling the same direction, eventually, you're gotta be right, right?

That pretty much sums up this whole debate. Sure, it’ll go up eventually, but only God knows when it’ll actually hit those levels. And who knows? Maybe it won't even happen. Half the people pushing this "market manipulation" narrative are nothing but skeptics who don't see gold as a true store of value, but just some tool for "manipulation, robbery, and greed."😁

You're wondering if it's time to dump some gold for cash because you said "maybe"... Let me be clear: I'm not selling, even if we fall straight into an abyss or deflation hits hard. Gold is the hedge against inflation. My real dilemma isn't about the current price, but rather figuring out how adding more would actually impact my "paper" assets.

Just take it easy... you've still got until you hit $1,555 😁 (that's the full amount I'm talking about), and after that... well, we'll see how things play out ☕

I honestly thought you’d head out to grab a few extra pounds of that dried leaf stuff, you know, those AT&T types... well, you know how it goes with Mr. Mudrinić... making sure his crew gets their fill. I guess you can't really lay down new 62 miles wireless cables on an empty stomach.
If you aren't holding any AT&T stock, just ignore everything I just said.

One little thing... this level is just support... whatever that means. If it breaks through, it could easily hit 535... but if it actually clears that? I'm not brave enough 😁 to make any kind of call.

If it clears 1535 USD, it’s heading straight for 1160 USD... at which point I'll be turning my Philharmonic Hall memberships and Silver Eagles into floor tiles.🙂

So, let me break this down. We’re looking at central banks dumping gold when it was sitting between $275 and $400, only to turn around and start gobbling it back up once it hit the $1,400–$1,800 range. Now that it’s dipped down to $1,100, are they seriously gonna start selling it off again??? 😕

I don't see how it hits $1,160 unless they start selling... 😁
