It’s not sarcasm, man, really. It’s just that years of dealing with this stuff have taught me to watch my back. Where’s that one guy acting like an expert buyer? He needs to step up and state his position. Once he does, I’ll be sure to take the exact opposite stance 😂
Could the Germans lose their AAA rating tomorrow? And if they did, would we see the Dollar hit 1.4 against the Euro? What do you think, quiettrucker12??

I don't see gold dipping below $1,600 or silver dropping under $30 again. Honestly, my current bet is the worst-case scenario: we hit a bottom in about a month and then it absolutely takes off. For a while, that was the only path I saw, but now there's a real shot at hitting $1,780–$1,800 before a small $50 correction pushes us toward $1,900. I’ve got no clue which of these two plays actually lands, but I'm convinced we won't see those sub-$1,600 levels "ever" again. Either the run to $3,500 has already started, or it kicks off within the next thirty days.

Do you have a shopping list ready—just in case Manit decides to grant your wish? 😍

I'm still weighing my options, honestly 🙂. I'm leaning towards picking up some Krugerrands and maybe a little silver—because let's be real, you can never have enough silver.

Tomorrow, the Germans will vote on whether those bailout funds are constitutional, and the day after that, Ben will be busy doing his own thing. 🙂
It’s pretty obvious the Germans will threaten to pull the plug on the funding—especially now that mahnit Mario has decided there’s zero issue with printing endless amounts of dollars.
Helicopter Ben might not explicitly say he’s going to print more dollars, but why would he? He never actually stopped. At the end of the day, what they say doesn't matter; only what they do does. And both of them are cranking out cash at full speed.

Looks like gold is building a foundation for a jump to 1760

Personally, I’m looking at this setup and seeing a textbook foundation for a slide down to 1650. ☕

I'm seeing the same thing. I'll happily buy more if—or when—it dips back into that 1600-1650 range.

Though, we'll probably be looking smarter tomorrow once the Fed makes its move.

That’s one of the two scenarios I laid out earlier. But honestly, even if that plays out, I don't see them heading straight there without hitting the 1760-1800 zone first.

Whatever. A trader doesn't care which way it swings. As long as there's 🙂

Here’s the verdict: that legal challenge against the Federal Reserve's policies just flopped—the Supreme Court isn't buying it. Meanwhile, Mario Draghi is basically shouting, "Print more, print more!"
In the short term, you'll probably see stocks and the US Dollar jump, while gold and silver might take a little dip. But looking at the long game? We're talking massive growth driven by the President.

It’s not quite that black and white.
The court basically ruled that Draghi can print up to 190 billion, as far as Germany is concerned. This is extremely conditional support at best.

And what happens when that limit is hit? Do they just let everything fall apart? 🤣

Gold's reaction to the decision:
A jump to 1744 USD

I didn't say they would let it happen, nor did I say they wouldn't. I'm just leaving every scenario on the table.

We aren't at a church service; there are no dogmas here. During an American financial crisis, absolutely any scenario is possible.

That’s all well and good... I agree that anything can happen, but it's unrealistic to think they’ll just stop halfway through once they start bailing out Spain and Italy. Those $190 billion won't even last two months.

So, what happens then?
Do we just let Spain and Italy default right after the rescue mission has already begun?

I have a question that I hope someone can clarify;

From what I can see, current circumstances suggest that gold and silver have become 99% safe bets at this stage. We are just waiting on tomorrow's confirmation from the US, given that we already received word from the EU today, right?

Specifically, is there any realistic scenario where precious metals could actually drop, as we have witnessed several times before? Are these questions focused on the short-term window leading up to the New Year, or even sooner?

The only realistic scenario is already playing out: they just keep printing money indefinitely.
That German court ruling was a joke—they didn't actually say "yes" or "no." They basically said you can do a little bit, just as long as it doesn't hit 😁
I’d love to see gold and silver prices tank so I could load up on more, but I have a feeling that isn't happening.
