The absolute furthest left a conservative can go is voting for the Republican Party, and honestly, they’re right on the edge of being center-left with just a few right-wing vibes. I know some people have called folks who support Schwartz or those tiny Libertarian Party groups "idiots," but I think those people are actually the true conservatives. In reality, their existence just ends up helping the Republican Party more than anything else. Most of them are just regular, sensible people who aren't going to buy into Schwartz’s nonsense about bringing back the death penalty. I guess he probably finds his own supporters pretty ridiculous, which is why so many conservatives end up voting Republican—they just don't have anyone else who actually represents them. The Republican Party's worst nightmare would be a strong, unified right wing, so I suppose they'll always try to tear that apart and hope someone like "Schwartz" pops up to divide the vote instead.
