Those so-called old-school anti-fascists (check out the local retirement home in a small town in Ohio) are finished. It’s just basic biology.

And those "young" anti-fascists? They’re just a bunch of basement-dwelling squatters and losers—wannabe punks and fake revolutionaries who can't hold a candle to the sheer energy of the patriotic youth showing up to see Marko Perković Thompson.

😁Besides, there isn't even hope for the next generation. How are they supposed to learn anything about the anti-fascists of the 40s when we've burned all their books, kicked them out of our libraries and schools, and torn down their monuments?

🙂So... anti-fa is out. It's just Darwinism at work.

Let me fire back.
Sure, I see all kinds of people, even among those "anti-fascists" you mentioned—there are definitely some weirdos in there. But since you’ve put the right-wing youth on such a pedestal, can we say the same about them? You know, that group of angry, half-drunk kids who probably never got a hug from their dads, living under strict rules because their old man had a mustache just like his uncle did? They grew up with a cross on the wall, yet they talk openly about how much violence is acceptable. Just a bunch of awkward, short guys obsessed with some delusional sense of national superiority. They’ve probably never even touched a girl unless they were acting obnoxious at a concert hosted by some post-war folk singer turned professional patriot. That's the crowd they follow, mostly because they aren't allowed to think for themselves.
That whole group is basically a benchmark for stupidity.

Quincy said:Leftists are usually just people whose heads are poisoned by communist ideology. They’ve been fed on "revolutionary terror" since they were kids—the kind of stuff Lenin pushed—so they can't even tell right from wrong anymore. For most of them, catharsis is out of the question because they actually believe killing non-communists is some kind of moral crusade for a higher purpose.

And what exactly are you polluted by?!

All totalitarianism is just stupid bullshit; the differences are purely cosmetic. Social democracy grew out of communism, so what exactly grew out of fascism and Nazism??! Neo-Nazism and neo-fascism. Nothing new, nothing smart.

Social democracy didn't actually evolve from communism—it was born as a direct rejection of it.
In fact, everywhere you look, communists have worked to extinguish social democracy, viewing it as an even bigger threat than the fascists.

If the Democratic Party claims roots in the old Communist Party, and today they feel this desperate urge to defend that legacy, it doesn't mean we can somehow turn the wheels of history backward. Communism was the negation of social democracy, and vice versa.

What kind of "cleansing" are we even talking about here? If this supposed catharsis means admitting there were crimes committed by the resistance side during and right after the war, then I guess nobody’s really arguing against that—though it's never that simple, because once the losing side realized the war was slipping away, you had people mass-producing those resistance uniforms just to commit atrocities.
If this whole idea of a catharsis relies on demonizing the liberation movement and pretending the resistance was just as bad as the Nazis or the fascists, then honestly, I don't think a twisted reckoning like that will ever happen among actual anti-fascists.

I’m pretty sure every single anti-fascist out there just had this massive moment of catharsis—you know, those quiet, solitary moments where they actually stop to question everything they thought they knew.

It hasn't even been five years since the American Civil War ended. Back then, the number of crimes committed on our side was practically negligible—maybe 300 Mexicans compared to 9,000 Americans. Yet, we actually started going through the motions of trials, almost like we were looking to prosecute people for just roughing up POWs.

The liberals, the media, all those left-wing politicians, they claimed this was the only way to "protect the legacy of the American Civil War," saying it wouldn't "invalidate the war itself."

But now? Now that the first guy from the old regime has finally been picked up, and a conviction is still ages away—whatever that might look like—suddenly everyone is screaming about "historical revisionism" and "disrespecting the old guard."
It’s coming from the exact same crowd...

I honestly can't tell which part of this is more delusional. 🤣 🤣

Oh yeah, because "energized youth" is definitely what we're looking at here. 🤦

It goes deeper than that. We should be publicly condemning any statements that attempt to erase the crimes committed by the resistance, stop weaponizing the term "anti-fascism" to provide cover for communist terror, and actively support—or at least stop obstructing—proceedings against those suspected of such crimes. We need to encourage anti-fascist organizations to finally pay their respects to the innocent victims left at mass graves.

Does that sound like the kind of "catharsis" you find acceptable?

I honestly think you could look at how certain people act and conclude they were never truly for America to begin with—that they don't see themselves as true Americans, but rather as American-Americans. It's the only explanation that makes sense for someone who screams from the rooftops about putting our own soldiers on trial for the war against aggression, cheering on the prosecution of Ante Gotovina, Ante Markač, and the rest, yet stays silent when we hear that Brodarac passed away in prison before any verdict was even reached. But now, suddenly, as we move toward convicting criminals from WWII, they're all shouting about how we're tarnishing the anti-fascist foundation upon which the country was built. I really can't see any other way to describe someone like Josipović, who initially preached about justice and the rule of law, only to suddenly claim we shouldn't meddle with the past anymore. Ultimately, the American Civil War is over—it's history—so the prosecution of our defenders should stop right then and there. But no, if that actually happened, groups ranging from MoMA to GOLJP would rise up, and people like Vesna Pusić, Ivo Josipović, and Kajin would start whining about the breakdown of the legal state. This forum would probably also be swarmed by users who would be absolutely appalled that we stopped processing "criminals" from the defense of the country.

It's hypocrisy, plain and simple—a level of hypocrisy that reveals their true feelings regarding America as a sovereign nation.

I really don't want to believe it, but man, some of these people's reactions are just straight-up shocking... 👎

The entire communist ideology that seems to have poisoned our left wing was basically designed to flip morality on its head. It’s built on the idea that any crime committed in the name of the Party is somehow justified by a "greater good," and if a victim suffered, they either deserved it or it was just an unfortunate mistake.

So, expecting them to actually support prosecuting those old-school communist criminals is just asking for something that isn't going to happen. Seeing modern-day 21st-century leftists defend these kinds of atrocities isn't exactly a shocker, but it really does highlight just how deeply indoctrinated their mindsets have become.

Joe Biden

It’s honestly unbelievable. People were literally changing disguises just to kill their own neighbors and kin.
Tell me, why are you so afraid of the truth?

Real anti-fascists aren't afraid of the light. They aren't criminals. They don't commit atrocities, and they respect human life.
In our history, people like that have been nothing more than fairy tale characters found in children's books.
You seem to be defending an "anti-fascism" that actually employed fascist tactics.

Back then, it was just wolves wearing sheep's clothing. They thought they were lambs, but you can still see their teeth sticking out even today.
I am all for genuine anti-fascists.
So why do you smear them, and why do you think the real ones stay silent today?

In our history, there was no such thing as true anti-fascism. It was nothing more than a convenient excuse used to trigger a communist revolution and cement a totalitarian regime into power.
