I mean, I guess everyone is essentially being registered "against their will" at this point.
it’s the kind of thing neither parents nor teachers actually want to deal with, really.

A ton of them were flagged without even knowing it, and some folks didn't find out until it hit the news.

Honestly, I figured this whole experiment was just some pre-election stunt. But if they aren't even bothering to value parent input, then I’m really not sure what the point of any of this is.
