I don't get it...

Don't even get me started on my paycheck :vadi kartone:

A steelworker? Me? Never. 😠

Edit: I’ve had to touch this post three times now because I keep missing letters. πŸ˜‚

I was actually referring to Ms. Andrew.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

Looks like things are heating up... everyone's threatening red cards now.
I have zero intention of getting tossed out like that guy did yesterday during the game against Greece. πŸ™‚

So, I’m shutting down the shop and heading off for some much-needed downtime. πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

And they would have said it was even as late as 4, right? πŸ˜‚

Enjoy your vacation πŸ‘‹

Man, I hand out freebies like they’re candy. It’s almost too easy. πŸ˜‰

But honestly, forget about hitting 4:00. By the time he packs his gear, shuts off the AC, and actually makes it to the car... it’ll probably already be past 4:00 anyway. πŸ˜‰

I’ll just hang on until I can get home and jump in the shower.. πŸ™‚
But apparently, I'm stuck here until 4:30... πŸ™‚
Right under the heading: overtime

You forgot about calling the crew and getting that BBQ organized, of course using your work phone since the data plan is cheaper πŸ™‚

I totally blanked on that, truth be told...

It’s just a standard part of the job, and it definitely counts as overtime.πŸ‘

Timothy Morgan38 said:Meanwhile, I’m just sitting here waiting for someone to show up so I can give their whole family tree a piece of my mind...

And since last weekend, I've been stuck playing the role of the unwilling chauffeur...

So, did you manage to check off everyone on the list?
How much longer are we going to be waiting for the post detailing how it all went down? πŸ™‚

The jerk NEVER SHOWED UP!!!!!!!!!! I was waiting there until 6:30 PM...

I guess he thinks I'll just cool off over the weekend... but he clearly doesn't know me very well... by next week, I'm going to be even more pissed...😠

You actually waited until six-thirty for him? πŸ˜‚

No offense, but why on earth did you wait that long?
The deal is supposed to be a specific time. If they don't show up, you give them a few minutes of grace and then you move on with your life... You’ve got much better things to do than sit around waiting. 🀷

Personally, I think my time is way too valuable to be throwing it down the drain like that.

I meanβ€”I was just waiting around... I had my home office set up so I was basically ready to go until about six-thirty... just sitting there watching cartoons with my kid...

Then at six-thirty, I head out to play a gig... and the deal was he’d show up once he finished up at the construction site or whatever...

Sorry for crashing this thread like a total amateur, but I noticed you guys have been around the block and actually know what you're talking about, so maybe you could point me in the right direction. I’ve been staring at my screen for hours trying to make sense of this, and honestly, I can't find a single decent answer anywhere online. If you wouldn't mind taking a quick look at the Association's thread, I’d really appreciate the helpπŸ™

I’d love to lend a hand, but I’ve never been much one for getting involved with an association, and I’d hate to go pushing my way into something just to end up saying something stupid.
From what I can tell, most of your headaches would vanish if you could just settle your bills the same day you make your money. That’s how I handle things, and I honestly don't get why people make it such a struggle; you just put it on the card and move on with your life. 🀷

I feel for you. I know exactly what it’s like when your office is also your home. Back when I worked from my house, people would show up at any hour of the day just because I was "home," acting like they could drop by whenever they felt like it. Now? My office is far, far, faaaaaaaarrrrrrr away...

Anyway, I'm dropping the link here for anyone else interested in how accounting works for non-profit associations.

Thanks for the hand, but honestly, I’m officially checked out for the day. All I care about right now is some ice cream and a good movie 😁

I honestly don't see how this chat is supposed to survive if nobody is actually contributing anything to it. πŸ₯³

Well, look who finally showed up. I’m sure you’ll have everyone lining up to listen to you now. 😍

The thing is, we aren't exactly used to this kind of freedom or casual back-and-forth. We were raised on the old-school American way: strict rules, rigid schedules, and total discipline. 🀣
