Yeah, but I’m not quite as concise as you are... πŸ˜‚

...forget all those links and analogies for a secondβ€”what actually matters to me is whether my paycheck is going to be bigger by about $67 this July or if I'm just getting screwed again...β˜•

Hey now... don't go giving away your salary details like that. Since when did your pay stub become public record? Keep some mystery alive, man.

I’m not handing over my salary details under any circumstances... you might as well threaten me with the death penalty at this point πŸ˜‚

It's pretty obvious why I shouldn't, because whenever I actually tell people how little I make, they just assume I'm lying...
Basically, they think I'm hiding the real number to save face...

Timothy Morgan38, quit playing the martyr. If you keep acting like you're struggling, people are going to think you're actually broke, when really you're pulling in such a massive paycheck you're almost embarrassed to admit it πŸ˜‰

Good grief... I’m actually embarrassed. People would probably label me some corporate tycoon if they caught me sipping coffee with Rockefeller...πŸ˜‚

The chat's finally waking up. πŸ‘

Honestly, it probably wouldn't be such a bad idea if we started fining anyone who posts about work on here. πŸ™‚

I told you once before, when one of us shows up, the rest will follow too. πŸ˜‰

How exactly do you think they manage to penalize every single post that mentions work life?
Where else are we supposed to go to complain about impossible working conditions, peanuts for salaries, and clients from hell?
We need a place to vent all this frustration, even if it's just here in this chat. 😬

I was actually talking about regulations and actual policies, not just endless complaining. 😁

Are you guys working tomorrow, or is it actually a day off? πŸ™‚

I'm honestly thinking about just bringing some work home with me, because honestly, that sounds much more productive than following my husband's idea of a good timeβ€”sitting around a grill with a bunch of his friends who I find incredibly dull. 😬

Everything else is more interesting than work, even watching grass grow 🀣

Don't bring your job home with you, unless you're some kind of masochist. 😬

Looks like it’s going to be a washout today (GO) and tomorrow too...😁
And Friday’s looking just as bleak...

It’s definitely time for πŸ™‚
Not a single bit of weather for a walk or a backyard BBQ...
Just the perfect excuse to stay inside and finally crush all that backlog I've been putting off...β˜•>

Hardly a masochist. I'm just a world-class procrastinator.🀣

You’re a pro at beating around the bush, and I’m just a chronic campaigner, unfortunately πŸ˜‚

Oh, absolutely. It’s always the same story. Every single time, I tell myself I'm done with this, that this is the final time I'll let myself fall for it, only to end up right back where I started. 🀣

Of course, I go through the exact same ritual every single yearβ€”it’s always the same old broken record about how things will be different this time, how I'll finally get my act together and stay on schedule...
That bit of self-delusion usually lasts until about January 10th. After that, I just look at the reality of the situation and realize what I was thinking. 😬

And then I find myself wondering why I’m constantly wound so tight. πŸ™„

I mean, how could I not be, when I spend half my life making things way more complicated than they ever needed to be? πŸ™„

Today is just one of those absolute disaster days. Honestly, all I want to do is crawl under a blanket at home and just stare blankly at the ceiling for a while. 😁
