Why isn't there a sane right wing that actually respects this country's heritage with a serious, mature approach—something people with actual common sense could actually rely on?
Sure, the Libertarian Party is moving in some direction toward forming a right-wing front, but why aren't there other conservative circles producing any kind of intelligent ideas?
I don't see any real intellectuals, I don't see anyone like Parag, and I definitely don't see myself in those "small-town nationalists" like the Nationalist Party or the Democratic Party.
As for the far-right flirting with fringe historical obsessions like the American Historical Society or that comedian Schwartz from the National Heritage Foundation—that’s not even worth discussing. It's just political folklore for entertainment.
It feels like the only people gathering on that side of the aisle are unbalanced types, people trapped by their own warped imaginations and victims of their own flawed characters.
Is there any chance they'll actually achieve something useful so we can all laugh at them in Congress? That’s about the only contribution they could make to break up the boredom. They seem stuck in a loop of zero creativity and zero self-awareness, wandering through their own psychological baggage instead of growing into meaningful members of society.

It’s because people simply refuse to be slaves—they won't accept being divided into upper and lower classes.

Capitalism has left far too many people unemployed; frankly, we don't need the right wing's version of solutions.

Death to the rich—equality for the people!

🙄
Look, the Republican Party isn't actually behind this multi-cultural globalist agenda that's gonna end up causing another massive world tragedy in a decade or so.
It's neoliberalism running the show today, not the right wing...

Your rhetoric sounds like something straight out of a 1930s Communist Party pamphlet.
Man, what a shame you were born in the wrong century.

Anyway, question for the OP:
Do you actually see any healthy Left wing movements in this country? Because honestly, it feels like both sides are just totally missing the mark lately.

The US is basically the only place left where you won't find a single right-wing party sitting in Congress...

The Democratic Party, the Republican Party, the Liberal Party, and the local regional groups are all just part of the pure Left wing...

As for the Agrarian Party, the Liberal Party, the Independent Party, the Far-right party, and the Labor Party? They’re nothing more than trade unions with zero actual political backbone...

I mean, if you define "the right" the way most people do, there isn't a single conservative outfit in the entire neighborhood, unless you count those fringe extremist groups that spend all their energy hating on immigrants, the LGBTQ+ community, or just being pissed off about someone building a church somewhere...

Exactly!
In America, you’ll see them toss out a few "right-wing" slogans every once in a while during election season, but then they just go right back to cozying up to their favorite parties—until the next election rolls around, or, God forbid, until some actual war breaks out.

So, which specific party are we talking about here in America? 🤷

There isn't really a parliamentary party like that, or if there is, they aren't making any noise about it. Honestly, we don't even need those chauvinistic parties, unless you count the way the current administration has basically left this whole country begging for scraps as a form of chauvinism.

I’d personally go for a party that stays sharply critical of the European Union without constantly sucking up to the USA—though, I guess you could even distance yourself from Russia, since that feels pretty pointless when the European Union and the USA are such tight partners in foreign policy anyway.

In America, starting a political party and even running for President is pretty straightforward...

Look, I could just start a party with a totally basic name, like the Democratic Party, nothing crazy happens until election season, and then during the campaign, I start demanding that Mexicans be kicked out, homosexuals be castrated, and Muslims be thrown in jail...

And then people have the nerve to say, "Oh, there are extremist parties in America"...

Idiot. You can thank your precious neoliberal "globalists" for all that.

The Democratic Party is basically a leftist front when it comes to labor rights and social democracy, plus they’re total cronies. Honestly, that weird nostalgia for old-school socialism is pretty much the only thing sticking to the American Left these days.

The Republican Party—being submissive to the European Union doesn't make them Leftists, it just makes them pushovers.

The Libertarian Party? Just big-business liberals and a bunch of elitist nonsense. Zero actual leftist vibes there.

The Regionalist Party are fake anti-fascists and basically just a local version of the GOP.

Real Leftists or real Rightists in America? They don't even exist.

It’s not just an American thing, either. Most of these social democratic and socialist parties care way more about immigrant rights and LGBTQ+ issues than they do about the actual working class back home...

Honestly, it's a global phenomenon... and the real kicker isn't just that they've lost touch with the working class, but that they seem to have forgotten about their own citizens altogether... it almost sounds like they'd rather live in some foreign country instead of their own, just so they can feel safe and tucked away behind a bunch of legal protections...

Interesting topic👍
I was watching this debate on PBS featuring a Dutch right-winger, and honestly, I found myself agreeing with most of his points. He’s against his country becoming a haven for legalized drug use, debauchery, and prostitution, and he wants immigrants to actually learn Dutch and respect local traditions. There's nothing inherently wrong with that.☕
But the sheer primitivism, chauvinism, and pure hatred coming from the low-life elements of the American right? That’s just terrifying.👎

Man... northernhawk55, you gonna sign the rest of that post too, since you're such a self-proclaimed neoliberal and all that? 😉
Or are you just cherry-picking the parts that make you look good?

I wouldn't even label the Liberal Party politically, despite their supposed right-wing economic stance!
Quite simply, the duo of Václav Havel makes any serious thought regarding that party impossiblewhich-America- suffers- from- us- being better off!

The Liberal Party is merely a protector of insurance company interests... and so on!

The TRUE AMERICAN LEFT WING consists of Dr. Prof. Franjo Harmon and someone like Maddox, who together captured 45% of the vote, demonstrating the true potential of the American left wing!

As for the Far-right party, they still aren't an extra-parliamentary group under this current Danijel Srbin🤷 unless you count their blatant tendency toward pandering...

The Democratic Party remains light years away from being a party of the people. The Republican Party is somewhere in the mix, but support from the American public does not inherently make them left-wing..

They aren't fake; you've got people in that party whose actual ancestors were out there fighting fascism in California.

What kind of Right-wing movement are we even talking about here? Are we talking about classic conservatism from fifty years ago? You know, the kind that actually stands for free markets, free speech, lower taxes, limited government, and keeping the church out of politics? There's hardly anyone in America who actually fits that description. Most people claiming to be on the right here are basically just pushing some sort of clerical fascism, modeled after things like Franc's Falange or the Rexists in Belgium. It’s all "God, Country, and Family," but of course, the taxpayers are stuck footing the bill for everything. The church gets state funding, veterans get their cut—not to mention the political sympathizers—and then there's money to hand out to patriotic Americans for having a sixth or seventh kid.

From an economic standpoint, there isn't much difference between the parties in the US. Everyone wants a bigger slice of the pie, and everyone wants more people sucking at the trough. The idea that any serious party in this country actually champions conservative economic principles is just laughable. When you look at the sheer number of retirees, students, veterans, and local bureaucrats... who would actually vote for a party that wants to cut taxes and trim down the federal bureaucracy?
